Cooked perfectly and beautiful layers of food. When you cut into it and turn it on its side, you can see how delicately they layered everything. My wife got the Spanish tortilla. We've had this in Barcelona before and it was very close and taste. A little dance for me, but she enjoyed it. Both of these dishes are really shareable. The coffee was OK but my wife's latte she said was excellent. Lastly, plenty of parking and they also have a small area with baked goods. Don't miss this place.

They are also dog friendly on the outdoor patio, which we really appreciated! Just keep in mind that the wait for outdoor seating can be a bit longer. We ordered the Farmhouse Breakfast and huevos rancheros, and both were delicious. Everything tasted fresh and flavorful, the eggs were cooked perfectly, and the potatoes were seasoned so well. I also tried the Maya hot chocolate, which was delicious, along with the sparkling cranberry juice. Our server was friendly and attentive, and we grabbed a few pastries from the front beforehand . They were all so good, but the savory goat cheese and tomato pastry was definitely a favorite. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the freshness and quality of the food. That's what my green smoothie tastes like. He had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get this disgusting drink and watch the owner just sitting at a table instead of trying to expedite orders and helping customers. I too notice this each time I went. I personally stopped going there because the service takes way too long and I don't have an hour to wait around for a sandwich. It's too bad because this place could be so great and we need something like this in Taos, but my prediction is they won't make it without a landline or staff that care.

I was up in Taos for Saturday and chose to stay upstairs of this restaurant for the night. This place is about 45 min from Taos proper. The upstairs studio was nice, and has nice views of the area. The property also has a hot tub, but I didn't use it. There isn't much out in Tres Piedras, but this place makes up for it. Also great view of the night sky. I spied a beautiful moon from upstairs. Dogs are allowed here and ample parking available. Ice also for sale here. Nice, outdoor patio space too. Staff here were really nice and I had 3 people constantly check in on me. I had a margarita and a beer and my total came to $8. Chips and salsa were on the house. It was also really wonderful to hang out on Saturday night to hear the live music. Gary Reynolds was the musician and he was excellent! They also had all sorts of fresh baked goods for sale, pies and even smudge sticks for sale here. Will have to give a try next time. There is also some really neat history about this building and worth learning the history about the place. I had a good time and definitely would come back.
