Even though only 2-stars, you should go! We didn't eat (pretty pricy which I didn't expect from the outside). We came for the brewery; they had an IPA and a porter. We got one of each. They were good, but nothing to brag about. They let us bring our dogs in. We were excited to see music setting up. The two on stage, one played keyboard and trumpet, the other ???. Ends up more of a karaoke set. The wife-owner sang a song and some were dancing. It was an interesting scene, something to be experienced.

We decided to stay at the Inn which is located down the street from the Ojo Resort. I am so happy…read morethat we did. What a charming little place. I believe there are only 8 or 10 rooms. The room was clean and the beds were so comfortable. The comforter on the bed was perfect. I just stayed at the Historic Hilton in Santa Fe and their 2 bedroom room was tiny. I was amazed at the size of the room at the Inn It's not huge it's perfect. The bathroom was functional. Be prepared when you go to shower that you need to let the water in the shower heat up. I brushed my teeth and then jumped in the steamy shower. It was great. Hands down one of the best parts of staying at the Inn was the housekeeper/cook. Talk about the best homemade breakfast on the planet. Every day we were treated with fresh muffins, scrambled eggs with chili, fresh skillet potatoes and amazing diced fruit. I can't say enough good things about the meals. As for the staff they were professional and attentive. My last parting thought would be this. If you are a light sleeper or like to sleep late make sure you pick a room at the far end not near the kitchen. The reason being is that there is a common area outside the kitchen and a common area inside the kitchen and people were happy to sit outside in the gorgeous weather to chat. We were in room #2 and it was a tad bit noisy at times in the morning So just to remember to take a higher room number and you will be fine. To me the place was perfect especially if you enjoy quiet evenings. One could hear a pin drop. It was wonderful. No street noise, doors slamming or usual hotel craziness. I highly recommend the Inn and hope you give it a try! Regards, M

This was the 2nd time I've stayed here and I will not stay here again. It is over-priced for what…read morethey offer and I think they take advantage of the fact that there are not many places to stay in the area. I am giving it 2 stars only because the breakfast was delicious and the place is clean. 1. My reservation was messed up (again - as it was the first time I stayed there) because they double-booked the room I requested. Unfortunately, they didn't let me know until I got there - I would have cancelled and insisted on a refund if I weren't desperate for a place to lay my head. 2. There are lights outside that shine into the room at night. Light blocking shades or curtains would help but then it would have been too stuffy. Actually, it was a bit too stuffy anyway and the fan in my room did not work. 3. Housekeeping started early and they brought a small child with them. Although this child was adorable and I completely support the ability to bring a child to work, he ran back and forth in front of the rooms yelling and playing. Woken up by this, I laid in bed trying to understand how a guest could allow their child to behave this way and then I went outside and realized that it was the staff. 4. The room next to me checked out early so housekeeping decided to start vacuuming right away which was super loud and made the morning the very opposite of peaceful. 5. The breakfast served outside on the lovely patio amongst beautiful flowers, and although delicious, was not relaxing or enjoyable because the child of the housekeepers was throwing rocks at the bumble bees and chasing away the hummingbirds the entire time. The housekeeping ladies sat there and laughed at him and encouraged him. I finished my breakfast and got out of there as soon as I could.

Staying in…read morecurated vintage trailers near the Rio Grande Gorge Bridge sounds amazing in theory--and honestly, parts of it were. Check-in was wonderful. The woman helping us was incredibly kind, informative, accommodating, and genuinely welcoming. The location was also beautiful--great sunset views near the gorge, lots of open space for our toddler to run around, and making a fire at night was definitely a highlight. But...the trailer 'FRIDA' itself just did not match the $300/night price point for a sunday on a long weekend. At first glance it looked clean enough--fresh white linens, towels, working Wi-Fi, etc.--but once you settled in, the cleanliness issues became hard to ignore. There were crumbs on the couch when we arrived, toothpaste splatter still on parts of the mirrors/walls, and the bathroom sink barely drained because it was so clogged. The floors were honestly the biggest shock. My son ran around briefly without shoes and the bottoms of his socks were black within minutes. What really sealed it for me was seeing the cleaning process during checkout. Staff were placing duvets outside on the patio furniture while turning over the trailers. Unfortunately, the chairs themselves were dusty/dirty, and ours even had bird droppings on it. It just didn't inspire confidence in the overall housekeeping standards. It felt less "curated desert escape" and more "surface-cleaned trailer with great branding." I truly think this place has potential because the concept and location are so unique, and the staff we interacted with were lovely. But for the price, the cleanliness standards need to be significantly higher.

What a perfect little spot - and no problems or hiccups whatsoever (this is Taos, so that's kind of a big deal). I was a little leery of this boutique transformation of the old Indian Hills Motel property, but we were just blown away by how nice Hotel Willa is; kudos to Casetta Hotels! Every employee was friendly in a genuine way; the grounds and rooms are _spotless_ and the vibe is just wonderful. It's easy to forget you're in town . . . but it's a quick walk to the Plaza and great restaurants once you step out front. Free parking. Quiet and totally efficient heating and cooling (we used both in April). Fantastic sleep (it's QUIET) on a remarkably comfortable bed. TV has a variety of music, Netflix, Prime in addition to a variety of programming. The onsite restaurant Juliette is more than just a bar - yes, everyone raves about the green chile cheeseburger, but do yourself a favor and go deeper into the (reasonably priced!) menu. Free coffee in the morning. Tons of places to sit and relax. Hammocks. Sling chairs. Benches. Rocks. Gorgeous and well maintained landscaping. Great pool (heated) and hot tub/jacuzzi, plus exercise room and sauna/cold plunge. (The one suggestion for improvement is that the rain shower spatters outside the shower room a bit.) We'll be back - we've stayed in several Taos properties and enjoyed them to various degrees, but we've never found a place that "clicked" for us as well as Willa.

The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful--modern, clean, and thoughtfully designed without losing that cozy, welcoming vibe. Our room was the perfect little retreat--super inviting, spotless, and designed in a way that makes you instantly relax. The bed? Dangerously comfortable. The kind where you debate skipping your plans just to stay in a little longer. And the Aesop bath products... major win. It's those elevated touches that really make a stay feel luxe without being over the top. Honestly, such a nice surprise. One of the standout features was the text-for-service option--so convenient and easy. It made everything feel seamless and modern, which we loved. A couple tiny notes (and I mean tiny): there's no in-room coffee, but you can grab it for free at the front desk. And adding an Aesop room spray would be the cherry on top of an already amazing experience. Overall, this place absolutely nailed it. Stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully curated--would 100% stay here again and recommend it to anyone heading to Taos.

My boyfriend, our dog, and I ended up booking this B&B last minute after leaving another accommodation early because it had bugs (including a camel spider in our bed ). We found this place online at resnexus.com as well Yelp and stalked their website, loved the photos, read the reviews, and immediately felt relieved when we arrived. The Piñon Casita was adorable, the property itself is beautiful, breakfast was delicious, and the hosts seemed friendly. For the first hour or so I was thinking, Thank goodness, we finally found the place. Unfortunately, things slowly started going downhill from there. The first night, the fireplace wouldn't work. We messaged the hosts, sent photos, tried troubleshooting it ourselves, and eventually just gave up and accepted we'd be having a fireplace-free evening. It wasn't the end of the world, and we figured hey, stuff happens. The next day they came and fixed it, which we appreciated. Then came the washer. One of the reasons we were excited about this casita was because it included a washer and dryer. Earlier in the week we'd already spent time at a laundromat, so we were looking forward to doing laundry before our 8-hour drive home. We started a load and got a 4E error less than halfway through the wash. We looked it up ourselves, we tried troubleshooting, we messaged the hosts, we followed their suggestions, and we tried different cycles. At this point I felt less like a guest and more like the on-call appliance technician. They eventually told us the washer had been fixed while we were out hiking, so we were excited to finally do laundry. Spoiler alert it wasn't fixed. Same error. We tried again later that evening. Same issue. Then around 11 PM the washer completely shut off and locked our wet laundry inside. We messaged the hosts again because we were supposed to leave the next morning after breakfast and start an 8-hour drive home. The response that frustrated us most wasn't even the broken washer, it was being told that because we hadn't specifically mentioned on the phone that we intended to use the washer and dryer, (And she said that they don't accept same day bookings, but made an exception for us, though that was never communicated nor was this a policy written anywhere on their website) compensation wouldn't be considered. Respectfully, if an amenity is advertised, guests shouldn't have to announce ahead of time that they plan on using it. That's like asking if the shower works before booking because you intend to shower. We weren't asking for a huge refund. We weren't asking for hundreds of dollars back. Even a small gesture of goodwill $50 to $100 off the stay would have gone a long way and would have shown that they understood the inconvenience. Instead, we paid full price despite having a fireplace that didn't work the first night and a washer/dryer that never functioned properly during our stay. To add to that, there were also multiple spiders and bugs inside the casita. I understand this is the countryside and bugs exist. Trust me, I get it. But after literally leaving our previous accommodation because of bugs, it wasn't exactly what we hoped to deal with again. The next morning our laundry was still trapped in the washer. Eventually my boyfriend ended up figuring out the breaker issue himself after staff told us where the breaker panel was located. We rushed to get our laundry spun and dried before checkout, but they still weren't completely dry. So instead of leaving relaxed after a nice getaway, we ended up starting our 8-hour drive home later than planned with damp laundry shoved into a trash bag. The frustrating part is that this review could have been completely different. The property is beautiful, the breakfast was genuinely fantastic, the casita itself is cute and cozy. And honestly, if the hosts had simply acknowledged the inconvenience and offered even a small amount of compensation, I probably would've happily overlooked most of this. Instead, we left feeling like the burden of fixing the problems fell on us while still paying full price for amenities we couldn't properly use. It's a lovely property, but unfortunately the way these issues were handled means we won't be returning.
