I attended the Rick Springfield concert at Westbury music fair 7/9/25. We decided to go to The Tap Room Jericho for diner before the show, my party included 10 people soon after we arrived. I believe another party of 10 or more came in right after us and before you knew it, the entire restaurant was filled to capacity. This initially concerned us because we felt maybe we wouldn't get our food in time and make the show but that definitely wasn't the case. Everything came out quick . This is my first time at this location and I just want to say how professional, accommodating and attentive the staff was and the food was amazing and such a great atmosphere. Picked this because it is close to westbury music fair. I was impressed with their large parking lot across the street. Casual dining place but it gets very loud and crowded. Service was friendly but slow luckily we left lots of time before our concert. Mostly bar type food burgers and such. The Carolina chicken sandwich wasn't a hit, was supposed to be white meat but the coloring seemed like dark meat. I enjoyed the truffle fries. My nephew finished off his sliders. I had the burger with the whiskey sauce but found it messy as the roll disintegrated with the sauce and it was hard to bite due to its thickness. We were able to substitute grilled chicken for the burger on the mushroom Swiss but found it was bland. I would skip the desserts. We had a chocolate shake but found it not very chocolatey. The cannoli cups were a pass as well as it was not very tasty. Restrooms were clean but no hand towels only blowers. Lots of TVs with sports all over the place. You should let them know before getting the check you are paying cash as they charge the credit card rate without asking us. Not somewhere I am going back to again. read more

The food was great and the service was excellent. We went after my son's High School graduation because it was one of the few places open late. They went out of their way to accommodate us. We went on Father's Day for brunch, it was totally empty...service was slow and unattentive. Server was nice, but only when she showed up. Food took forever, even the mozzarella sticks took forever, and were cold- I had to ask a passing server to check on them and she brought them right out which means they must have been sitting there. The rest of the food we got- Steak sandwich with fries & Brunch Burger - both were mediocre (and cold). I've been to other locations, and sadly don't think the Jericho one will succeed. This was our first time in your Jericho location and, as we have experienced before in Patchogue, the food was great! We enjoyed steak tacos, burgers, hot honey chicken sandwich and short rib grilled cheese.... all wonderful! Our server, Lisa, was wonderful. Attentive and on point. A real pleasure. It was early, 5:30 on a Tuesday and the place wasn't crowded, the other tables were mostly senior citizens (including my 94-year old father). The music was the only downfall....just way too loud to even have a conversation....especially with my dad! I can see having it turned up when the place is crowded and there's a bar crowd, but for an early dinner crowd, it was just way too overwhelming. That's the only downfall! Cheers read more

I actually went here because I saw it online and it looked like the food was good. Actually, the service was great. My waiter was very knowledgeable and offered us good selections. The food though was horrific. From the appetizers to the entrees, something about the food was totally off. We couldn't eat the mac and cheese balls, horrible, horrible! I ordered the chicken sandwich for dinner and OMG gross. Finally, I probably wouldn't have written this if the drinks were good but they weren't either. It was easy to order. Delivery was FAST and friendly. There were LARGE portions that were packaged well for delivery and everything was there and extra napkins, ketchup and utensils. Quality food - flavor was average. We had Mac n cheese burger and regular burger with cheese, regular fries are seasoned and have flavor; onion rings are the thicker kind with crunchy breading. Sat at the bar, which was not crowded and very comfortable. We selected old-fashioneds from their drink specials menu. The bartender was scattered and just took too long to ask if you wanted a drink, too long to ask if you wanted another, and even forgot to bring drinks when they were ordered. We waited a long time for her to ask us what we wanted to order and she seemed to be focused on one end of the bar--perhaps they were frequent patrons. We ordered the mussels in a white sauce, and they were really good. But the rest of our food was not great. I ordered a salad which was totally boring and the dressing was tasteless. Stopped by mid-afternoon last Saturday and sat at the bar with a group of friends. It was very relaxed and our bartender, Malcolm, was friendly off the bat. Gave great cocktail recommendations, and we each ended up ordering a couple of different drinks throughout our meal. Had the tapchos , mussels (with delicious broth and bread), and the chicken sandwich. All portions were generously hefty! Ended up staying longer than we planned to watch the UFC and the Olympics on TV, while enjoying live music. Malcolm was great throughout our time. Definitely coming back, 5 stars! read more

We went to the Tap Room in Jericho, NY tonight to celebrate a birthday. It was amazing. The bartender - Lisa - took care of our food & drink order. She was fantastic... so warm, welcoming, and hospitable.... she was great and so was the food and drink. Additionally, Brother Dave of Brother Dave's Blues was the musical performer tonight. We actually went there to see and hear Brother Dave. He is really one of the true "gems" of long Island. He gives such a great performance (tonight was a solo acoustic night)... he is an outstanding guitarist and singer.... he really brings it.... he interacts fantastically with the folks at the restaurant / bar and really gives an outstanding show. I recently came here to watch a basketball game on a Sunday afternoon. The staff was very attentive and constantly checking in despite how crowded it was, never had to wait too long to ask anyone for something. They had a wide variety of beer and even a sour beer which is my favorite. We only had the dessert for food but it was awesome! (The triple threat brownie was more than enough for the two of us and tasted amazing). Overall great experience! read more

It was so loud that the hostess couldn't even hear us when we were putting our name in the wait list. We decided not to stay because we wouldn't be able to hear each other. Stopped in early Saturday afternoon to ask if they do growler fills. Young man at the reception desk gave the standard response of his generation, " I don't even know what that is". I explained what a beer growler was, he said " I don't think so". Me: Do you mind if I ask the bartender? Him: Well, I'm the manager so I should know.
