I have been so excited for another restaurant to open in this area and Taphouse 15 did not disappoint. Great interior and a great place to meet for drinks. They have an excellent beer list of places near and far. I have been twice. First time I had the bacon wrapped pork tenderloin. Delicious. Nice and flavorful. And I had chocolate lava cake. So good. Came for lunch a second time and had their Apple and Brie grilled cheese. Also good. I should also mention the spiced Moscow mule. Their bar tenders are great. This drink was delicious and not watered down and came in the traditional cup which added to the fun. I had great service both times. They were helpful and enthusiastic. Oh, why has it taken me so long to go here? I'm even gonna skip my usual rant about places that have so many TV screens and why can't people just go out without having screens in every corner of the restaurant they're eating in? Upon walking in, you feel as though you're walking into someone's home that has been featured in Architectural Digest. The decor is modern and super sleek. But enough of that - let's get to the food! I've had two friends post pictures of The Impossible Burger on Facebook, one a vegan and one not and both raved about it. I'm a vegetarian and I would never have known that this burger wasn't meat. Since I've been waiting so long to order this burger, that's what I got. But there were so many things on the menu that I wanted to get. The wood-fired pizza looked delicious and on their new summer menu that they were just launching was a watermelon salad that sounded devine! It had red and yellow watermelon, pistachios, poppy seed, mint, and I don't remember what else but tonight I needed more than that. I'm just gonna have to go back!! I can't not mention our waiter, Ryan. What a rarity to have a server so thoroughly knowledgeable about everything on the menu. He seemed to know about every beer on their extensive beer list, and also could speak about everything on the menu. The bar was busy but the kitchen was not so our food was out so quickly. Most of the time I was eating, I was thinking about what I would get the next time I came here. The only thing I would suggest is that they get on the movement to ask people if they want straws instead of automatically giving them. My first time here was great! The location on Rt 15 makes it really easy to come in and out from any direction. My waitress was friendly and attentive and explained the menu well. I ordered the short rib grilled cheese with onion rings and I was not disappointed!! Definitely the best variation of grilled cheese I've had in a while. A great addition to the area. We had a very pleasant experience. We sat at the barstools (not bar area) similar to a dinner setting, and received prompt and friendly service. They got us set up with the hockey game without hesitation, came back periodically to check in, made nice conversation and was very efficient. Prices are fair. Wings bang bang style were crispy and smothered in that addicting, finger-licking sauce. Solid! Both entrées were on point - fish tacos served with chips and guac - roasted pork, broccoli rabe and sharp provolone served in a baked roll pocket style accompanied with steak fries. Came here at around 7:30 on a Saturday night and waited ~30 mins for a table of two which wasn't bad. We were able to order beer while we wait and the selection was amazing! When we sat we ordered the smoked wings to share which were so good but spicy! I ordered the fried chicken sandwich which was FANTASTIC - such a unique combo of flavors. My other half ordered a burger that he raved about as well. There are so many other things on the menu I want to try so we will definitely be back! read more

First of all the place is really nice inside and out. The seats are very comfortable. The staff was very nice and checked in on us often which is always nice to see. the food was okay. I don't know if I would come back so soon and if I do, I would get something else. We had to wait but that is expected for going on a Friday night. They told us it was going to be about a 30 min wait but ended up being like 15-20. That was great! Came here for happy hour on a Friday night and it was packed! So packed that complimentary valet parking was provided because cars had to be parked at an off site lot. The Friday I went, margaritas were cheap, at $4 a glass. I ordered some empanadas ($11 for 3) off the appetizers, and that came pretty quickly, despite how busy the restaurant was. This place I feel has potential but hasn't quite figured out the kinks yet maybe? We went right before a holiday so it wasn't overly crowded (usually the parking lot is what drives us away) we got a table fairly quickly but then waited 20 minutes for a server to come to our table. Their beer list is fairly extensive and pretty varied which was great! We ordered pizza- it was pretty thin and kind of on the greasy side BUT was literally right out of the oven. We stayed long enough for 2 beers and pizza before the live music started- that's what also kind of made us leave. It was SO LOUD... SO SO loud. The bad was decent but we couldn't even hear eachother talking across the table from one another. Ultimately I think I'd try this place again, just at a more strategic time maybe. read more

They have a HUGE and I mean HUGE selection of different craft beers but after perusing their beer menu and seeing the ABSURD and OBSCENE prices for their offerings (as in $35-$45 per 12 oz. bottles), I opted to stick with regular bottled domestic. The food menu is adequately large but my friend and I opted for their 14 inch pizzas. He stuck with a plain cheese pie and I had one with meatballs. Surprisingly, the pizza was OK, with a nice thin crust but at $12 for a 14 inch pie and toppings at $2 extra each, it did not compare well value-wise for what one could get at your local pizza shop. Also unfortunate is that they brought our pizzas out on a double tiered rack with my pie on the top and before I could eat it in its entirety, it grew cold. I won't be be back. read more

I saw someone posted a picture of vegan chilli cheese fries precovid and knew I had to get there! Unfortunately we got there too late (just recently) and they were off the menu. However, they still had cauliflower tacos and an impossible burger. The Buddha bowl I believe is also vegan but wasn't marked so, I'd like to try that next time. We had a deal from yelp (for $25 get $50 to spend) so we shared a pizza, cauliflower tacos, and an impossible burger and a drink. Everything was delicious and we had some leftovers to enjoy for lunch the next day! Also the bill was exactly $50 so that was great and totally reasonably priced. Our server was really kind in asking the kitchen to make sure things were vegan etc. although they said they couldn't put vegan cheese on the pizza or fries which was disappointing. They said the oven gets too hot and burns the cheese. I think this is something that can be figured out for sure.. I appreciate the vegan options but they can take them to the next level by offering these options, especially since they had chilli cheese fries at one point! vegan cheese is notoriously hard to melt so I thought a wood fire pizza oven would actually be perfect, but I still enjoyed the pizza with no cheese. We will be back and will be crossing our fingers that the chilli cheese fries come back or the chefs can figure out how to add cheese to pizza and fries!!! read more

The location is tucked in the middle of rt 15, So you have to be in the fast lane to get in. Our waiter was really great. Both my husband and I got the chicken and waffles. We both loved it, although I wish I'd known it was boneless. The batter had bacon in it, so it was a thick breading on the chicken. It was very good though. My husband and I both gave it a 9. I'm glad we finally have an option rather than the long drive to Sweet Chick in Brooklyn. My husband got a man mosa and I got the Bellini. Both very good. I can't remember the name of our dessert, but it was basically an apple crisp á la mode. Also very good. All portions were enough to feed two. We will likely share a plate next time we go. The bill came to about $58. Not bad. My only true issue was out seating. The one of the surveillance cameras for the restaurant was directly above our table and it felt a bit invasive. Downgrading my review to 3 stars. They recently got a new chef and I'm not impressed. I thought the menu would be new and improved (although I was perfectly happy with the old menu), but instead there are slight changes and the dishes aren't as good as they used to be. One of my favorites used to be the short ribs. Ordered it this past weekend and I got the worlds largest rib bone on my plate, which was off-putting, and the short ribs were the fattiest I've ever had. It was like eating slimy meat. So gross. Actually, everyone was disappointed with their meal this visit, which we were all surprised by. Please go back to the way things were!!! This was one of my favorite spots! read more

This is my second time coming here, last time being 2 years ago. The service is still great and the staff is very pleasant. We came on president day and it was a full house but I can definitely understand why. The decor is top notch and the bathroom is extremely clean. They have a brick oven and the kitchen moves pretty fast with the food. There's a large bar and huge collection of tap beers. I have one complaint but I won't deduct a star for it. I am puzzled by the low star average and can only surmise this is because people have not talked about their positive experiences enough.
