I loved the whole energy here. Our waiter was so upbeat and helpful! The only down side I could say is the seating situation. They have you seat yourself but a place that is packed like this needs some direction. I can not wait to come back again. Burgers were delicious and juicy. This place puts other burger places to shame. The ingredients are super fresh, the beef is juicy, and the service is wonderful. I must say that my meal was that of perfection. I had the "Q"; never had bbq sauce like that. It was rich and tangy, while the slaw and pickles gave it a nice crunch. I asked for medium-well and got it. I was told this place had a great burger and being a tap house I thought perfect. Well, when we arrived there was a sign that said seat yourself so, I looked for an empty seat or a host would of been better. Well the bus boy-host-waiter just looked right past us The seating was many 6 person table and stools seating about half full and nobody was willing to make room Nor was I going to ask or eat with someone I didn't know. The bar was about 8 stools and full We waited awhile then went to the bar for a look at the taps. I did not to see anything I even wanted to try. The bar tender just looked past us too. Far to busy to even say hi. So that's when we left and Yelped a new place and found another place to eat, I already Yelped, Hint it's the one I gave 5 stars to and a thumbs up there in Sioux Falls the only reason why I gave this place 2 stars is it was recommended by a friend so you could bring your own chair I guess the sign said Seat Yourself I changed it to one star after thinking about it. read more

Seeing that the place was not that busy - it was loud, dark and the server was a bit rude - maybe not rude, but certainly not very good at all. The menu was small, which should be excellent food, but that wasn't the case - it was just ok - fries were overcooked and a little on the salty side, which is bad seeing that we are talking French Fries and I like them salty! Pricing and parking were both ok - selection was light and speed of service was slow! I don't like having to ask for service on anything! read more

Another evening stop at Fryn Pan with great diner food with excellent portions and the night Servers are always keeping up with their Guests and all they need. We tried to pop in here tonight with family in town, we have heard good things and when we walked in it said to seat ourselves. Before we could even get to a table; a nice waitress stopped us and said she was so sorry, but we could not have our 4 month old as they allow 21 and up only. This wasn't really the issue, we understand that but you could tell she was brand new and obviously embarrassed. She did tell us she was new and was told to come over and tell us we could not have kids in the restaurant/bar and that they do this so it is "kept quiet" and "there isn't screaming". Very interesting concept. I understand the 21 and up only after a certain hour, but at 5 PM on a Tuesday? Seems a little ridiculous. She did recommend grabbing food next door at All Day Cafe and we did that, but overall not a good first or last impression unless you hate children, even those who sleep through your entire meal and drinks. I wish we could actually review this place for its food but I doubt we will come back to do that. read more

Went Monday evening for drinks and something to eat while we visited with our son before he flew home. Server was prompt, friendly and offered recommendations when asked. The food was great! the drinks up to expectations. Up to that point they would have received a satisfactory review. Then, my wife who requires a walker and struggles with many simple tasks got up and headed toward the ladies room. When she arrived at the restroom an employee rushed over to hold the door for her and then temporarily propped it open so she could easily exit. This type of attention to customers needs is unfortunately rare but, greatly appreciated. A tip well earned! read more

In Sioux Falls for business. Drove all the way across town with my wife & two children to eat here. Took forever to find the place, which was totally fine. We were relieved to get dinner. But, when we got to the front door we immediately felt outcast...'No one under 21 allowed', or something along those lines. Second door...same message. What a find! Traveling on a cross-country road trip we found this amazing Taphouse! The beer selection- great! The burgers (I had mushroom burger)- super great! The bourbon/whiskey selection rivaled the Louisville Bourbon Trail ( a stop in our road trip!) I had a Makers Mark 46 as a reminiscence of our tour- yum! Super cool decor not very loud for a pup seen which is a big positive. They had a lot of unique beers and whiskies. Burgers were good patties were hand pressed not the usual hockey pucks. The negatives. 1. The waiter was not knowledgeable about the beers or whiskies. 2. The menus is very limited burgers or burgers. 3. I thought it was overpriced for what you get 8+ dollars for a burger then you have to buy your sides like fries chips ect so it adds up real quick. They also have three different pour prices for whiskies , a taste (not sure what that is) , a shot or a drink. It should be one price. All and all I would come back again because the burgers are good and for a unique whiskey on the rocks but because its overpriced i will not be a regular. read more

This was my second time coming to TH41. Drinks They have a great Bourbon and tap beer list. Service Bartender was friendly both times, but could be more attentive. I was there both times between the lunch and dinner rushes, so the place was empty and had to wait for drink refills on more than one occasion. Food Had a burger, which was above average on the first visit. The second time was the Cajun chicken sandwich which was excellent. My review is based purely in drinks, since I didn't eat here. As others have mentioned, TH41 is known for beers, bourbons and burgers. Although, I didn't drink a beer, I looked at their menu is fairly eclectic and diverse. I went for their bourbon and scotch collection and it didn't disappoint. They have 50+ bottles of Ryes, bourbons, single malt scotches and other whiskies. Each is available as a taste or standard pour. Prices are certainly cheaper than what I would pay in Chicago. I ended up getting an Old Fashioned, a Balvenie 14 yr and a Jameson Gold Reserve. I knocked off a star since their old fashioned was not a classic old fashioned and the bartender muddled the Orange and cherry and complete no-no in my book. I will certainly be back to try a burger next time. read more

Well, it isn't very welcoming, from when you enter throughout the meal. No personal touch, not even really a hello. I will say kudos on getting my picky order correct, though. I ordered the burger salad with be bean burger instead of beef. With no cheese, and the Thai wing sauce instead of dressing. It was brought out 100% accurate, and it was very tasty! (Definitely not brought with a smile). My boyfriend got the Q burger with onion rings. The burger toppings were excellent, but the burger was quite overcooked. The onion rings had a slightly chemical flavor to them. I got iced tea to drink. It was very good, but not refilled until I had to ask a walking by waitress to refill it. My boyfriend got a beer (I'm not a beer person, so I have no idea what it was suppose to taste like, but he said it tasted stale. It was served cold, though, so that's a plus. I really don't know that I'll be back. It really wasn't anything note worthy enough for a special trip. read more

First of all, their happy hour is legit!! We stumbled in around 9pm after a long day of traveling and were greeted by their friendly server and the best happy hour deals around. Their beer and bourbon selection is expansive, so come thirsty. We shared the Skillet Brussels, a delicious plate of roasted brussel sprouts, carmelized onions, gorgonzola cheese and bacon- highly recommended! We also had the Dill Pickle Fries, which are exactly how they sound- dill pickles cut into French fries. Best pickle fries I've ever had!! We also had a mushroom burger, wings and a salad with brie and heirloom tomatoes. Everything was delicious and more than reasonably priced!! I had the Boss Burger and it was Aa-mazing! The ole Fashioned that Lee, our waiter, suggested was also spot on. The ambience was great and again I can't say enough about Lee our waiter.
