Delightful brunch at Tappo today with a dear friend! We started with mimosas! I got the pineapple and she got the mango. They were delicious!! Since it was close to lunch I went with the Fresh Berry salad with added bacon for fun and protein! My friend stayed with the breakfast theme and got the Pick Three with toast, scrambled egg and fruit. Our meals were perfect! The staff found out we were celebrating my belated birthday, so they gave me a complimentary cheesecake to take home. They mentioned they are doing a new grand opening next weekend with an update menu. Will definitely have to return to check it out. They have a nice variety of small plates and a smattering of wines from all over. They had a variety of sake based cocktails and an abundance of coffee or tea options. I hosted a book club here and felt so well attended to be the staff. I came in an hour early to get my bearings and they were moving tables for us already. So nice! We shared a charcuterie board which was divine. Fruit was fresh, cheese was at the right temperature and did I mention the cheese? There was good wine by the glass. Whatever red blend I had was silky! Very drinkable! The "fire" lent a nice ambiance. Looking forward to more cozy book club evenings. read more

Live close and have been eyeballing this place for a while now. Finally decided to test it out. He only thing I regret is we didn't come here sooner! Very comfortable and cozy inside. Our server Lala was extremely friendly and accommodating. They had a wide range of brunch cocktails and wines to choose from as well as an updated brunch menu. I had a classic mimosa and the gyro flatbread. The flatbread was delicious! I had to order a latte at the end to event things out. Everything was great! The prices were very affordable. Tonight we stopped in to Tappo and I'm sure glad we did!! I ordered a ice latte with almond milk and we got a bottle of Washington Hills wine. It was so good. Paired with the Ploughman board, which was a array of fine dried meats, cheeses and fresh fruits. What looked like pickled onions, peppers, and pickles. A delightful fruit preserve and mustard as well. More then enough to share!! My boyfriend ordered the Italian-ish panini. I ordered the Brie and pear panini. Both came with a light mixed greens salad and chips. The meal was amazing. The atmosphere was comfortable and lush. The perfect place to share a bottle of wine with friends, a bite to eat, or maybe even a coffee date... The staff was amazing and attentive. I will definitely be returning in the future!! read more

Atmosphere for this place is charming. Perfect place to stop by, as an aperitif, before dinner. I got a glass of wine and a flatbread. It is a bit disappointing that their menu is quite small and there is NO seafood in it - they are categorized as a tapas. I will still come again to explore the menu, though. Went to Tappo for lunch today and had such a wonderful experience. We were the only ones there, surprisingly, since it is such a nicely decorated and inviting space. Lala seemed to be running it herself, and she was so welcoming and friendly. The menu is simple yet offers good variety. I ordered the pear and Brie flatbread, which came with a small salad and chips, as well as the lavender sake mule. I let Lala know that I have an alcohol allergy and she was very accommodating in making me a customized drink. The food came out quickly and was fresh, delicious, and uncomplicated. Great environment, went for some wine and food on date night. All the food was great, the service was fantastic. They have a nice little outdoor area but seating inside us comfortable and relaxed. I have been looking forward to going to Tappo for some time and unfortunately was disappointed! Went on a Friday night so maybe busier than most nights, but it took 20-30 minutes to have wait staff to place an over, over 45 minutes to get wine, and when we ordered more wine (and food) after another 45 minutes of waiting we cancelled the order. I get that the restaurant industry is hard work and it may have been busier than usual but when we walked inside to cancel the remaining order some of the servers we sitting behind the counter. I definitely will try tappo again hoping that this was a fluke experience because they have an excellent patio and the ambience inside is fantastic. read more

Brie and pear panini...wanted to love it...dry af. completely inedible. was the panini bread frozen and just thawed? There's no way it was fresh. charcuterie board, inappropriate toasted bread amount for amount of meats etc. felt like they didn't actually think about how someone would eat the board and how much of each component would be needed. the whole thing screamed of someone who knows nothing about food, trying to make food. like they had a good idea for a business, but zero execution. wine was mehhh. $90 for all that yuck, plus tip. We went here for lunch. We had a meat and cheese platter it was yummy! I would love to see a stronger cheese on the plate but the pickles were fabulous. Then we had a gyro flatbread. It was really good the meat was moist and really good. We had the BCB flat bread it was really good too. We had a piece of quiche it was ok and a pear Brie panini that was solid. The only reason I didn't do 5 stars was because service was super slow and we got each dish separately so we ended up having to watch each other eat our meals I would go again read more

First time for us. Early dinner on a sunny Saturday. Place was empty when we arrived around 5:30p but filled quickly. To cut to the chase, the decor and nice outdoor patio as well as friendly waitstaff outpace the actual food here. When it gets busy at night the fact that the patio is on a busy street may matter less but for us it was a detractor. We shared quinoa salad, and had gryo flatbread and veggie panini. The gyro meat was tender but otherwise the food was mediocre. Salad was clearly bagged with occasional blemishes (ie decomposing parts) and no redeeming flavor or treatment. The veg panini would have to try hard to be more bland. We'll be checking out othef places. read more

We were amazed with all their fresh brewed options & their unique blends. The manager was friendly, knowledgeable & suggested options on their unique chai & lattes. We took her up on her suggestions & what a wonderful cup of latter & chai! Cannot waits to go back to try her highly suggested Riesling wine with carrot cake. Will definitely be a regular customer.
