Friday & Saturdays are kareoke night, AYCE buffet are only on Sundays for $20. I got to try the buffet and everything was delicious. Service was great.

    Sizzling Grilled Pork Belly Plate
    Rhina M.

Grilled pork belly 5/5 sizzling, flavorful and generous quantity Tocilog 5/5 fresh rice, Tocilog was warm not hot, eggs were freshly cooked Palabok 4/5 only 1 piece of shrimp, garnished with cabbage which was a bit odd but it was good. I just never had it with cabbage before. Normally it's green onions or Napa cabbage for the crunch, I like how there's no ground pork. It was missing some flavor besides the tinapa flakes. Pricing was very fair and ambiance was clean. The service was ok but could be a bit better. I was expecting a more friendlier vibe considering it was empty when we got there. I am willing to eat there again when I'm in town.

It's a bit of a challenge to find this place because there's no signage yet. They are located near Bath & Body Works. We've been here several times already after we tried their food. I've tried their Beef Kare-Kare, Beef Steak, Tapsilog, Pinoy Spaghetti... all winners! Although they need to explain you have the option to have garlic fried rice versus garlic over plain rice. The service is amazing - ALL the servers were super nice. The owner will make time to talk to you if you have questions. This restaurant deserves a five star rating!

Food tasted pretty good with decent portion sizes for the price. The lumpia was also pretty good and I might consider it for a party tray. I'll have to catch one of their buffets sometime because the restaurant was quite empty even for dinner.

Great Tapsilog and Bulalo! Great spot to take a break from a long drive and enjoy good Filipino food.

Boodle platter (bbq pork, teriyaki chicken, lechon, garlic rice, whites rice and salad) and an order of Beef Kare Kare.

The food was good. I really like their selections for the boodle flight platter. The restaurant set up looked a little confusing. Part of it is a venue for parties and the other half is seating for the restaurant and the other part is food ready to go. The service was a little confusing as well. They seemed new to the business and hopefully it gets better. I also hope they get real dishes for eating instead of eating on an appetizer plate. You can get paper plates by the front but that's not restaurant service. It's not bad it's just not at that level yet of great service. There's potential

Pro: I tried their Kare Kare, Bicol Express, Sinigang, Kalamay and Kutsinta - they were all good. Con: Ambiance was a bit depressing. We had to reuse our (buffet) plates.

    Lumpia

I would like to start by saying the customer service here was phenomenal and would give it 5 stars alone. I stopped to charge my Tesla and wanted a snack I saw that they had lumpia and decided to give this place a try. I got a bowl with fried rice, veggies, and beef that was all premade. Best way to explain the bowl was it tasted like it was homemade which hit the comfort spot. The beef was a little tough in my opinion but the veggies were seasoned nicely. The only thing stopping me from giving 5 stars is the lumpia tasted like it was store bought which was still good but I was hoping for that fresh homemade lumpia taste. Definitely worth a try!

Stage for karaoke and live music

I was so excited when Tapsi House Cafe & Grill opened up, especially in an area where there are very few restaurant options that I like. The restaurant has been evolving nicely since they first opened in July 2024. They've gotten more organized and made the place look more lovely and inviting with floral decor surrounding the dining space. They just started a traditional continental Filipino breakfast AYCE buffet on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 12:00 (sometimes later--flexible schedule). Options include fried fish, pork longanisa sweet sausage, fried eggs, pork tocino (marinated sweet pork), marinated fried beef tapa, various glutinous rice cakes (puto, bibinka, kucinta), arroz caldo savory rice porridge, sweet chocolate porridge, fruit (like orange slices) and beverage. I can't wait to participate in their Karaoke Night on Fridays from 6:00 pm to 10:00pm. They also have an AYCE dinner buffet on Fridays from 5:00pm to 9:00pm. The people who work here are warm and welcoming. Tons of parking. Highly recommend!!

Turon (good size Turon comes in 3 per order)

Spending a couple days here in Lake Elsinore and it was quite tough finding a good spot for Asian food to satisfy the cravings. BUT we are so glad we found Tapsi! Coming all the way from the Bay Area where it is surrounded with amazing Asian food and also growing up exposed to Filipino food in the Philippines, I could easily say that Tapsi has some great Filipino food! We ordered the: - Lechon Kawali Sisig Plate Overall: 9/10 (would be a 10/10 but I def needed more rice but flavor was on point and the lechon stayed juicy! - Pancit Malabon Overall: 9/10 (would be a 10/10 but it was lacking some protein, def needed more. Although the balance between the noodles and sauce and flavoring was just right!) - Hongkong Siomai Overall: 8/10 (absolutely meaty and you get your money's worth! Flavoring could be slightly better but not complaining. It definitely tastes like street food snacks back at the Motherland) - Turon (jackfruit + banana) Overall: 8/10 (explosion of true banana flavor within each bite but I searched for the jackfruit and it was rare to taste. A little on the greasy side but other than that, Filipino fashion turon was executed, def can't go wrong with it) - Calamansi Juice Overall: easily 10/10. Don't hesitate to order. Simple as that. Refreshing and delicious. What made me sad is that they ran out of Pork Isaw ---------------- Service was amazing even though it was just one person running the floor. You could tell the passion and effort being provided with each customer. We ordered To-Go and ordering was easy and we were able to sit and the server even provided us with water. It didn't matter how busy he was, he kept a smile on his face and continued to entertain each guest. Very attentive and punctual! Forgot his name but he mentioned he acts! -------------- Coming in, the restaurant provides such a Filipino restaurant vibe and I'm sure they do Karaoke with the two mics we saw Seems that they also do some live music with a stage on the corner. The place is huge! It did make us sad at the idea of the restaurant being in an area that does not seem to get much traffic but what do we know, we aren't from here but we sure hope that Tapsi stays busy and continue to provide great Filipino food that the locals can appreciate!

I tried the palabok and turon to go. The restaurant was warm inside, and surprisingly quite dark, even though it was daytime. The palabok itself had a decent taste -- not bad at all. I actually liked that it had a hint of tinapa flavor, which gave it an authentic touch. It was a bit on the bland side, but still enjoyable. That said, the portion size could've been better. It left me wanting more. I also got turon, which looked promising in the poster. But when I bit into it, I was expecting it to be sweeter -- it definitely needed more sugar or caramelization. It didn't quite measure up to the turon I usually get from Filipino stores. Our server was courteous and professional, but unfortunately lacked familiarity with the menu. He had to make several trips back to the kitchen to answer basic questions about the dishes. Additionally, we were served vinegar with our orders of palabok and turon, which was not appropriate for either dish. Overall, not a bad spot. I'd go back, but I'd probably try something else next time.

Absolute Gem in San Bernardino!…read more From the moment you walk into this clean, quiet, and relaxing spot right across from CSUSB, you feel right at home. The food is on another level. We ordered: * Mongolian Beef: This was easily some of the best I've ever had. The beef was incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and sautéed with fresh carrots, bell peppers, and onions in a special sauce that hits all the right notes. * Vermicelli Combination: You can tell everything is made to order and uses high-quality ingredients. Their spring rolls with rice vermicelli and peanut hoisin sauce are fresh, light, and packed with flavor. What truly made the night, though, was the phenomenal owner working behind the counter. She was welcoming and positive and very helpful. The service here is immaculate--the staff is so friendly and welcoming, and the owner clearly takes immense pride in the business. Our food came out super fast, and the portions were very generous for the price. If you're looking for authentic flavors and a unique dining experience in San Bernardino, this is the place to go!.

So I keep trying new spots hoping one finally hits. I'd driven past Urban Teri Kitchen a bunch of times taking my kids to practices and games and finally decided to stop in. Didn't even check Yelp first. Just went in blind based on a good feeling about the place. Glad I did. I ordered the half-and-half with chicken teriyaki and katsu, and honestly it was one of the better teriyaki plates I've had anywhere around here. The chicken was flavorful, the katsu was crispy without being greasy, and everything tasted fresh. It's a little pricier than some teriyaki spots, but the quality backs it up. My wife and I could easily split one order next time. I came in around 4 PM, so it wasn't packed, but the people inside looked happy, the restaurant was clean, and the whole place just had a really good vibe. Sometimes you can tell within a minute whether a place cares about what they're doing, and this felt like one of those spots. There's a reason they've got 4.7 stars. If anything, I'd say that rating is deserved.

The employee who helped me-- I believe their name was Kyler -- was incredibly friendly and had such a great vibe. They didn't just connect with me, but with other customers as well. They answered all my questions and gave great suggestions on food combinations and ingredients. As for the food, the price is definitely on the higher side, but considering it's a smaller town and there aren't many poke options nearby, it feels somewhat justified compared to driving farther out. The portion sizes were great, especially the protein. I got salmon and shrimp with a medium spice level, plus avocado, furikake, green onion, onion, and cucumber. It was simple but really good. Their topping options are a bit limited compared to other poke spots, but they cover the basics that most people usually get anyway. Most importantly, they are not skimpy with the protein, which I really appreciated. The inside was very clean, well-kept, and welcoming. They also carry a variety of Hawaiian Sun drinks (my favorite!) and even sell Dole Whip, which I didn't try this time but definitely will next visit. Overall, it was a great experience and the poke was delicious. I'll definitely be back!
