Finally made the trip over for my favorite Taco Salad. Easy to find on Ocean Park Road, signage is clear and easy to read and ample parking in the lot next too. Not fancy at all upon walking in. Service counter with laminated menus on the counter with a friendly young lady willing to assist. I tried to bring up our past orders since hubby and I really enjoy two items on their menu but was unable to find the El Pastor meat in the printed menu, was in-line when we ordered in the fall. Might be seasonal. Ordering was easy and were told it would take 10 minutes to prepare. We wanted to share some of our history as a couple with our son, so we left for a quick drive while our food cooked. They have a nice sitting area for dining in but we knew we'd be taking it to go. Ready and packaged nicely we headed home. After a 30 minute drive the food was still relatively hot. Again, salad and burrito were fabulous as was my son's meal. Ordered the Churros for dessert which came with chocolate and caramel dipping sauces. None were needed, crispy/ crunchy on outside and slightly chewy on the inside. read more

A hidden gem! We lived in NM for a year and I was excited to find this while we were staying in OOB where everything is touristy and is fried, seafood, or pizza. It is an hour walk from the ocean or a few minute drive. We had carne asada tacos, and an Al Pastor torta, and burrito, plus guacamole and chips. They also have really good homemade very spicy hot sauce that you will want if you are a spice addicted human like us. The food here is so good I wanted to grab a burrito to go on the way home from working a gig north of Portland. Not sure about the drinks, looked like the have beer and margartias, place does have tell tale Fabuloso cleaning product aroma. No frills dine in area if you need a place to wolf down the tastiest thing in OOB. I am guessing this is where all the hungry local workers get take out, and rightly so. read more

Very authentic tacos and burritos. Nice atmosphere, spacious. You order at a counter and you sit down and wait for your food. The service was excellent. Very fast. It was busy in here and it took ~5 minutes for guacamole and chips and and about 10 - 15 minutes for 8 tacos. The drinks are bottled. Made a quick trip to Taqueria 207 before a storm rolled through today. The counter staff was smiley and helpful, despite it being really busy and the phone ringing with multiple orders. The decor was exactly what you'd expect from a taqueria. Cute and bright. We enjoyed both the carnitas burrito and the carne asada bowl, with some tasty guacamole and chips, while the rain poured down. The owners also own a nearby bodega. read more

I was super disappointed in our visit. We have been looking for good Mexican in the area and based on reviews we're hoping this might be the place, but that's not the case. In my opinion these are the most important characteristics in a Mexican or Latin eatery. I've rated quality at Taqueria 207 out of 5. Chips 1/5, too firm, not fresh, likely not made on site Tortilla 1/5 tasted like any flour tortilla you would find at the grocery store Guacamole 3/5 not bad, two oniony for me, and as a spot that seems catered to takeout, having it served overflowing from a tiny container is not helping me enjoy it Salsa 3/5 nothing special Rice 1/5 so plain and dry Meats 4/5 this is where I understood the good reviews, my husband loved the birria, but I didn't find the consome had the flavor Iike, but the asada was excellent Elote 5/5 delicious, could've eaten 5 of these There is a large seating area, but it's definitely not a good dine in restaurant super cold and not inviting, no table service. This was such a great find! After finishing golf nearby and their kitchen having closed at 8, this place was recommended. Only five minutes away, seemed perfect. When we walked in - at 8:07, we were told that the kitchen was closed but as long as we ordered quickly, they'd still serve us!! Well - stars there for being so kind and accommodating! I quickly perused the menu and found my go to at any Mexican place - chorizo!! So - two chorizo street tacos and one carne asada were ordered along with a raspberry margarita. Drinks were delivered promptly and was very good - tasted fresh made (well except the raspberry syrup flavoring) and was just enough tequila for this golfed out girl. Next came the tacos which were the perfect size, piled with fresh veggies and amazing protein. $3.95 per taco, $6 for margs - extra $1 for raspberry. All in all - excellent food, friendly and fast service, and great prices. I can't wait to come back and peruse the menu to try much more!! read more

Unfortunately this place has seemed to go downhill. I took some friends here because I really used to love it. I raved about it all the way and everyone's food was disappointing. Mine was particularly gross. The BBQ taco was so cold, dry, and has a weird taste. My guac STILL needs salt. I don't think I will try this place again. Yuck. read more

Growing up and living in Souther California until I was 28, my love for tacos and Mexican food is ingrained deep. While I've lived in many parts of the country, it's always hard to find a good taco place that really "gets it right". Thankfully, after moving to the area, my wife and I discovered Taqueria 207! The tacos are the star of the menu and I regularly order four or more just for myself because they're incredible! My personal favorites are the Carne Asada, Carnitas, and Birria. They're severed street style on deliciously fresh corn tortillas. When you get your order, squeeze on a little lime and you're on your way to heaven! There's usually plenty of seating there no matter the time, but it does appear they do a bunch of togo business. So while the parking lot might be full, not everyone is hanging around. read more

We just moved to the neighborhood and I drove by this place one afternoon. The parking lot (more on that in a second) was pretty packed. This small and unassuming place is one of the best Tex-Mex places in the greater Portland area. We ordered a few tacos, a burrito, and a chicken bowl. Everything was pretty flavorful and the selection of tacos was mouthwatering. I loved the red and green tortilla chips. I know they taste the same, but they're fun. Although the dining room was open, we ordered takeout. Ordering online was so easy. The staff was friendly and the prices were very reasonable. All of our food came to about $40. While it's certainly not a deterrent, be aware that the parking lot is small and can be a little difficult to navigate on busy days. Luckily, I live close enough to walk. :) read more

This location has always been our go to when ordering out. Their burritos had been very good but it seems this location has slipped a bit. The chips are always stale, somehow my chicken burrito has potato in it and they always forget something when we order. We hope they turn things around but we will wait and see . Love this place, always our go-to when we are in Old Orchard Beach. My one criticism is it smells of intense cleaning fluid. It's overwhelming and hits you right as you come in. Don't get me wrong I'm glad they are a clean place but there are non-scented cleaners that are more appropriate. read more

Loved this place. We ordered from here once (via app) but would go back, even though it is not very close to us. The food took longer than anticipated because of a big order ahead of us. Loved the fried plantains, burrito and the veggie bowl. It was MORE than enough for two people. If you want authentic Mexican cuisine, look no further. A quaint dining experience that will far surpass your expectations on the taste of the food. The 'OOB' burrito was one of the best I've had. And, don't forget the churros for desert...comes with chocolate sauce AND caramel! It may be a tad too critical but the light weight plastic silverware made it a bit difficult to eat the giant-sized burrito.
