They've definitely updated their truck but there aren't any tables around to sit at. Location is a lot farther than I'd like but it has more space than the previous spot they parked at for sure. My boyfriend has been going to this man for years so he's the one that introduced me to this truck back then. Nice taco man and I believe his wife works it with him and she was very friendly too, taking our orders. Didn't speak to the man this time around though, since he was busy making a bunch of taco orders (long wait). I'm sorry to say but it wasn't as amazing as I remember when I first tried it. Not to say it wasn't good... but it wasn't the best. I got two Asada tacos (decent) and one Chicharron taco (big mistake)-- it was not good at all. I couldn't even finish it. I can't explain the taste but it's not what I expected. I wanted Tripa but they didn't have any (boo). What they've definitely got going for them right now that can't be beat? Their prices! You don't see tacos under $4, let alone $3, much anymore. But-- it is CASH ONLY. Remember that before making the drive. My ranking may be more based off past experiences but I have to keep the current feels into consideration as well. I like them but this last visit left a bad taste in my mouth. There were several people waiting for their food, which is usually a great sign. Ordering was simple and straightforward. I got two al pastor tacos, one lengua, and one cabeza -- all with everything on them. The service was impressively fast; I had my tacos in about 10 minutes. They gave me hot sauce and lemon on the side, which complemented the tacos really well. Out of the four, the al pastor and lengua were my favorites. The meat was nicely crispy, well-seasoned, and generously loaded into each taco. It's located next to a gas station, so parking is limited and there aren't any tables. It's definitely more of a grab-and-go spot rather than somewhere you sit and hang out. I'm still really glad I made the stop to try this place. If I'm ever passing through Fresno again, I'd definitely come back.
