Walking up to Crow and Wolf and seeing a sushi food truck had me half interested and half confused. After hearing the bartenders rave about the sushi, I gave it a try... and they were right! The Grobak Sushi menu is limited with 14-sushi rolls offered and three other items; takoyaki balls, gyoza, and spam musubi. I went with my bartenders recommendation and ordered the Orange Dragon roll. This is tempura fried shrimp, spicy crab, cucumber, and topped with salmon. I know this isn't traditional sushi, but it was still delicious! Everything tasted extremely fresh and really hit the spot. From the time we ordered to the time, our food was done was less than 10-minutes. I normally opt for soy wrap, sushi, which they did have and I greatly appreciated. If you're out and about and see this food truck at a farmers market or your local brewery parking lot, do not save on this and order some sushi ASAP!

Honestly everything I've tried from this food truck has been so good, but I'd especially like to give recognition to the spam musubi! They add their own little touch and it is the best I've had in Fresno! The workers are always so nice and helpful when explaining things. This is a food truck favorite in my family and a must try!

They came to visit my workplace and I've been dying to try it for a while! The owners were really sweet in sending me photos of their menu on IG, so I already knew what I wanted to get. I ordered the Monte Carlo roll and takoyaki. My friend ordered the Hamachi roll. Both were super fresh and delicious! The takoyaki was okay, I don't really like it when it's super mushy in the middle. Overall a great experience, it's just that everything is super expensive. It's a once in a while treat.

To start off very friendly staff. I was greeted and helped with the menu which was sweet and simple. We ordered the hamachi lover roll, rainbow roll, unagi dragon roll, and Cali roll. All the sushi rolls were delicious! Nicely made and packed together. The construction of the sushi was good, it was balanced of rice and protein. The fish tasted fresh and well prepared. I was definitely full from that meal, or maybe my eyes were bigger than my stomach! Lol. I can't wait to return and try their rice bowls. My ordered came out super fast and got the order within 3-5 mins.

I got the Hamachi Lover roll. It was pretty good and did not taste 'fishy'. I thought prices on rolls are a bit high for a food truck including basic spicy tuna roll which was $12. That stopped me from ordering another roll. It was near my house so I stopped by to try. Service was nice.

They were at Enzo's table today. I ordered the orange dragon roll. The worker was kind. I waited a short time and my order was given to me along with well wishes! Fresh and tasty sushi! Good service and sushi! Recommended!

Attended a Fresno Street Eats event. Craving sushi but couldn't have raw sushi so we asked what they offered in their cooked sushi menu and they only had 2 options the tempura roll and Cali. I ordered the tempura roll. I was delicious and very filling, the wasabi looked old and should have asked for soy sauce which wasn't included in the bag. Also wanted to try the macaroons but we were so disappointed that they ran out at the time. The service was great, they were very friendly. Prices were reasonable. Would definitely return to try the rest of the menu.

We picked up the Monte Carlo and the Unagi Dragon rolls. Very delicious and tastes better than some brick and mortar spots! The service was very pleasant and the cashier was super friendly and food came out fairly quickly

As good as sushi roll as I've had in fresno. No joke. Better than almost all the restaurants, and as good as the best ones.

My wife is fiending for something beefy, and sees a steak dish on the menu. I say, "I dunno about steak from a Thai (maybe Lao) food truck." It was called Crying Tiger with Rice, for $17. But hunger won over, and we ordered it. The food came out in good order and promptly. And oh my, this steak was DELICIOUS. Cooked a perfect medium rare, it was tender, juicy, marinated with something that brought out the steak flavor. With the dipping sauce, it was a savory, citrus-y delight with a small spicy kick. Sorry for eating part of it before thinking "I definitely have to rate this place". Lol. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Happy eating!

I need to expand my range of their menu next time, but the crying tiger and dipping sauce is just so dang good. The folks who work this truck are helpful and kind too. One time out at the college, they ran out of, if you can believe it... sticky rice! They did notify us before we ordered, but again, that steak and dipping sauce was just something I couldn't resist. They quickly offered to replace it with eggrolls and we got 4! (There was another time that they did not come out to a scheduled spot due to weather. And I wondered about food trucks not coming out due to rain, is it a functionality thing for the truck or do they think people won't be out and about to purchase? Because let me tell you staff love a chance to order food that isn't the cafe without having to leave campus! Haha)

I had the pulled pork sandwich with a side of yummy coleslaw. The sandwich came with several single serving size containers of bbq sauce. The pulled pork was very tender, moist and smoked deliciously. Soft hoagie roll. The bbq sauce was very flavorful and not spicy which is how I like it. I loved the coleslaw because it wasn't too mayonnaisey, more of a subtle vinegar flavor. My son ordered the brisket with collard greens which he says, you can't truly be a bbq restaurant without collard greens. He loved them and the brisket was tender and lean. His husband ordered a tri tip sandwich with the Mac n cheese along with a made to order Blackberry Lemonade. They both loved their meals. We all agreed we'd return for another meal. Tge desserts looks delicious! Bread pudding, peach cobbler and a couple other choices. Like I said, another day to indulge in dessert. It is outdoor seating only on picnic tables. You could see the owner and his assistant working hard to prepare the meals. They had a steady stream of guests. Good location with parking very close by.

Service is ok, food truck style, they had the indoors open for a little bit, not sure what's happened. They have windows on both sides of the truck but I guess the working windows faces the street. That's where we order and pick up. Totally didn't know that stood there like a dummy u til someone said something. When we went around the truck, it was against a curb and there were small puddles of water. I'm not sure if it's the trash cans that smelled or there was a sewer really nearby. It smelled really nasty. My daughter insisted that she still wanted a mango smoothie and coconut water sounded pretty refreshing. Plus, we were already patiently waiting for a while before someone told us to order on the other cramped side. The lady that took our order wasn't friendly. She just ask what we wanted to order. She looked at me with a confused face when I said coconut water and mango smoothie. Maybe she didn't speak English? She walked away from the window I'm assuming to ask someone in the truck about our order. A man came to the window and ask what we order and we said mango smoothie and coconut water. He translated to her. Our drinks only cost $2.50 each which is sooooo inexpensive. I didn't see the prices listed for the drinks, only for food. The window was a bit high, so I'm glad I am not shorter than 5'3! I was standing on the curb too! After a few minutes, we got our drinks. The mango smoothie was dripping on the side so we had to clean it up. My daughter said it was delicious and she can taste the freshness. (Frozen mangos) my coconut water was in a really big container and it was super refreshing. It was warmer than chilled but colder than room temperature. I had minimum bits of coconut bits in my drink. Overall, the drinks were really good. Service could be way better, the man was nice. I probably wouldn't order from them again if they are in the same location facing the street because of the smell. But if saw them anywhere else at an event, I would for sure order again!

Can't wait to try the mangoneadas! I was surprised at the price, but honestly, it's a lot of fruit, and it was all fresh and great quality. The corn was pretty tasty too. No idea what was in it, my guess would be mayo, butter, maybe some type of creama instead of butter, queso fresco and chile powder. So definitely a lot of dairy! If that is not your thing, grab a roasted corn instead! My 3 star ratings is really for the inconvenient set up. They have the ordering window on the street side (I'm sure to entice others to stop by), but the street side is positioned on this weird planter/curb area, which is muddy and smelly. They have put plastic pallets down in front of the ordering window, but it is still not the safest area. Don't get me wrong the actual location is great central spot, close to Fresno State, but the location on the premise itself could be reworked I'm sure. Don't necessarily know if that will totally stop me from coming back, but just an honest look at the place!
