Very good Chicken Taquitos, served with Tomatillo sauce, and guacamole. Priced right, nothing fancy. Fresh ingredients, fast service. Cold Horchata quenches the thirst well. Street parking a premium, next to a day care location. Oddly enough, one of the best parts is reading the bilingual newspapers available to patrons. It's nice to get alternative perspectives on the news, immigration matters, etc. Will be returning many more times. read more

The food is very good. Above all the service is great. They are very friendly. We made several requests which they did without charging us. First, we saw some people eating fried jalapeno. We told the owner we would like to try it. They simply give it to us for free. My wife saw someone eating a chimichanga. She ordered a burrito but wish to try the chimichanga as well. Everything we tried was relatively tasty and fresh. Good tortillas. Salsa was okay, not great. Had a veggie taco, which included just corn tortillas and sautéed veggies. Good place, not great. Feeling hungry as you pass through Willits? Taqueria Bravo was almost lost between a couple of buildings, but I had a craving for some Mexican. I was all to prepared to taste something resembling the next interpretation of what someone thinks Mexican food is, I decided to go for a simple bean burrito. Oh My Gawd!!! The beans tasted homemade with plenty of oozing cheese. Everything was well seasoned, huge and oh so good, just like home! Que Rico y Gracias! This is a regular stop for lunch when traveling in the area. The food is always fresh and the service is fast and friendly. The veggie burrito is fantastic! Chili rellanos are a favorite of mine and they have some of the best here. Finding good, authentic Mexican food in Northern California is surprisingly difficult. This place gets it right. read more

When in Willits, this is the place to get Mexican food. I go to Willits about once a quarter to support an office my company has there. When I'm there for the week, I go to Taco Bravo about 3-4 times. It is super good and very reasonable on the prices. read more

We've been ordering the Chile Verde Super Burritos for over 10 years now, and normally they're great tasting huge burritos. In fact we decided to buy 4 at a time and freeze them for later. Well, a few weeks ago, we ordered 4 burritos, Chile Verde Super, and someone new must have been working the kitchen. 95% rice, with a few really small pieces of pork and none of the usual great chile verde flavor. I did find some Guac, but the sour cream must have evaporated. Really disappointing. These were supposed to be SUPER burritos. In order to keep your success, you can't start skimping on the ingredients. I will be talking to the Owner/manager at some point. Too Sad! read more

Disappointed. They used to be really good. I feel like the service, quality, etcc has gone down recently. I have always liked their fish tacos and vegetarian burritos. Tonight my husband and I ordered exactly that...his burrito was ok. The veggies are always nice but were super soggy and should have been grilled. I was very disappointed that they screwed up my order with the fish tacos. I've been craving hard-shell tacos so I ordered fish tacos in a hard shell. I got soft shell, nasty fish, tiny bit of cabbage and a lot of cheese. Two bites into the fish and I got not only fishy flavors but also hints of.....mold!? Idk, but Gross. Rice and beans..meh. Totally not worth $20 plus a tip. Hopefully they start to up their game soon. Little things go a long way. Start with quality. read more

This place sucks and I'll tell you why. I order a chicken burrito and a veggie burrito. They mark the burritos wrong, so my cousin ends up eating the veggie thinking it was the chicken. He didn't notice. I go to eat the chicken 15 minutes later and notice that I think I just bit into chicken. I spit it out. What fu^%ers. They mislabeled. How the hell do you confuse chicken with veggie. So I turn around and head back to the shop. I walk in and tell them of the dilemma. They ask for the burrito back, the chicken, and make me a new one. I ask how they could make such a mistake. Not much of an answer. I tell them I think they should let me keep it cause THEY screwed up. They say they can't do that. They have to throw it away. HUH? WHAT? Throw it away I ask. But my cousin just ate a veggie cause you guys marked it wrong. He wanted a chicken. You should let him keep it. Or at least let me give it to someone outside who is hungry. There are many hungry kids in the streets of Willits. They denied me. Screw these guys. I will never go back and hope that you guys don't too. We need better community in this town. Now this was their screw up. They should have understood this. I will never, ever go back and either should you. Their food honestly is not that great. I ate at el Mexicano the next time I wanted Mexican and honestly speaking, this place was super yummy. I had the grilled veggie burrito. Super yummy flavor. Don't know why everyone always told me el Mexicano wasn't that great. It was so much better than taqueria bravo. And the staff was super. Chile Relleno was okay, but kind of soggy and not flavorful. Not a great exhibit of the artform. Bad fish taco: one overcooked deep-fried slab of fish that seemed like it came from a box of frozen Gorton's Fisherman fillets. Fillets that had been removed from the freezer the day before and thawed. Too bad. This place was really good a few years ago, and the folks working there were nice. read more

I live in Willits, and this place is by far the best place to get a burrito...There are other, more fancy taco houses in town, but this place is cut and dry, down to the point, always packed, and great food. I am not a vegetarian, but I am hooked on their vegetables burrito--lots of squash, zucchini, and broccoli instead of meat--and GIANT. I love this place. read more

The restaurant asked me to leave and refused me service because My Service Dog was "too big." I explained that there was no law stating what size a Service Dog could be, and that they were in direct violation of the Americans with Disabilities Act. They still refused to serve me and asked me to leave the restaurant. They then took 35 minutes to prepare my friends burrito while I waited outside, while other customers were fed and departed before him. He's pretty sure they spit in his food. Needless to say, we won't return. read more
