The food was tasty we had 3 quesadillas. 2 adults and 1 kid. All were practically the same price 6 bucks but the only thing different the kids didn't have the same ingredients as the adults it had just meat and cheese while the adults had that plus cabbage tomato and avocado. I think it was just 50 cents different but it brought more. I think the prices at this place were high with what they offer. What we got looked like a slightly bigger taco but everything looked expensive. There wasn't any complimentary chips usually most Mexican restaurants I been to give you that. The service was ok wasn't really attentive I was thinking of ordering another quesadilla but thought how small it was for the price and decided not to. The place is located in a plaza which wasn't too bad but majority of the stores were close. Not sure if I'll return tk this place because the portion size and the prices. The chips also sucked because usually I look forward to some complimentary chips.

Went to a dive bar nearby to see a friend band and found an almost 5 star review for this taco place. Decided to try it because it was only a block or two away and found a completely full Mexican Taqueria. I could tell right away it was authentic because most of the people inside looked like they were from Mexico. Had to wait about 10 minutes and well worth the wait. I love tacos and have eaten them all over South Florida and this is a five star review because they are the best tacos I've eaten in South Florida. They are as good as anything I've eaten in California which are typically the standard I go by. We tried the steak, beef, Al Pastor, and chicken. All were simply excellent. Very simply served and quality was through the roof. On each table they had homemade salsa one Rojo and one Verde and both were pretty spicy and flavorful. Not a lot of English in this place or brush up on your Spanish or be able to point to what you want. I asked for water with lemon and I got a lemonade. Lol. It was fine and I actually enjoyed it. For dessert we asked for a Tres Leche but wound up getting a piece of cake that was average but I'm not going to include that in this review by taking away a star because the tacos were so over the top good. We were there fairly late and even when we left every table was full. A rare five star review and an overwhelming I will be back!

Was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint! Tried their chilaquiles and they were so delicious. Definitely on the spicier side if you're up for it, but worth it. Would definitely love to come again and try their different dishes!

Really good quality Mexican food. Not Tex Mex!! Mex...I had the Sopes and soft tacos and they were really good.i also had the horchata. Really good flavor. You could feel the cinnamon. They used to have a food truck and turned it into a restaurant. Still has the food truck flavors though. Excelenté!! This is definitely one of our new huecitos. Friendly staff too. Easy parking but it gets busy in the weekends.

We were excited after watching Burrito Boys review of this place. We drove 40 minutes. We ordered 2 chicken burritos and somehow they came to 36$ with a 10% tip. Wow. Ok. That's fine. But what wasn't fine is that we both got sick after. Stomach cramps and having to use the rest room immediately. Just sick...I only ate half of a half of mine and I was sick. Not deathly ill but enough that I know there was something wrong with our food.

Owned by Luz, who hails…read morefrom Mexico City, and with a chef from the Yucatan at the helm, this restaurant delivers a truly authentic and homemade Mexican dining experience. With its warm, inviting atmosphere and Mexican decor, the restaurant instantly makes you feel at home. We were greeted like old friends by Luz herself, setting the stage for a delightful meal. Lured by the enticing "$10 for 4 Tacos" Taco Tuesday deal, we indulged in a variety of tacos and other menu highlights. The journey began with fresh, house-made chips and two flavorful salsas - a vibrant green jalapeño and a smoky red morita. The horchata was a standout, creamy and perfectly balanced, while the tamarind drink offered a refreshing tang. YOU MUST GET THE HORCHATA! One of the best I have tried. Our taco selection included cochinitas, carnitas, asada, al pastor, and tinga de pollo. Each taco was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors, generously filled with juicy, well-seasoned meat and served in small, handheld tortillas - a true taste of Mexico. My favorite was the cochinitas! While opinions varied on the asada's saltiness, the overall consensus was overwhelmingly positive. We also savored the street corn, a delightful combination of mayo, lime, cream, queso fresco, and tajin, and the unforgettable birria tacos, generously loaded with meat and cheese and accompanied by a flavorful, non-greasy consommé.I appreciate it was not oily like many places, I was able to drink it all and no heart burns lol! To conclude our meal, we indulged in perfectly fried churros, choosing both the dulce de leche and chocolate varieties. These delightful treats were not overly sweet and filled with sugar, providing a satisfying end to our dining experience. Taco Real offers a true taste of Mexico in Florida, with its exceptional service, authentic flavors, and inviting ambiance. We can't wait to go back for another Taco Tuesday! Inside, the staff is pleasant and speaks just enough English to communicate with us gringos. We were given menus and our beverages while choosing what to eat. I also ordered a Pork Skin taco thinking it would be a little crunchy but it was really just pretty fatty and I would not order it again. The rice and beans were also very good. I liked the complimentary basket of chips and salsa to start and I was a little surprised that they had a huge variety of menu items but no burritos. As were were finishing, the restaurant got more crowded and I figure during the dinner hours, this place would be very crowded because the food and service are great. They do charge and extra 4% credit card fee so we paid by cash. I don't love that surcharge because rarely do I have cash on me and I would respect just raising the prices on the menu instead.
