I came here for breakfast and got the Shrimp Fajitas Combo. They have a self serve salsa bar with free chips that was super good. Shrimp Fajitas Combo - They gave a lot of shrimp which I was super happy about. The bell peppers and onions were also flavorful with the fajita seasoning. The fajita seasoning could have been stronger. I didn't love the beans here and felt like they were runnier than what I was used to. The rice was standard. The food was good the ambiance is what you would expect, but the pricing is deceptive. We ordered a Super Burrito with carna asada, the menu on the wall says the price is 12.99 but was charged 14.41. When I called back to question the price discrepancy I was told it's a dollar more for carna asada and because I used a credit card there is an additional charge. I ordered three burritos so you're telling me a credit card surcharge is on each burrito. This information is not displayed on the menu nor do they let the customer know. I ordered the carne asada tacos. The meat was a little on the dry side, but once I added the salsa (both green and red), the flavor was really good. The restaurant was clean, with a steady flow of customers. The cook is clearly talented--kept whistling like different birds the whole time. This place is a staple of our trips back to California. The food is incredible, not matter what you choose. I always grab a burrito with a ceviche and it never disappoints. The burritos are packed with flavor and they nail ratios of ingredients so that each bite is pure perfection. The ceviche is well balanced and not overpowering with the citrus. The staff always greet you with smiles and the service is very quick. The unassuming decor and easygoing ambiance make this a chill place to hang with friends and catch-up or zone out and relax after a long day. They offer beer, but no hard alcohol. Oh, these flavors are so good. The TORTA is one of my favorites here. Quesadillas are pretty good too, they're huge. I love how the condiments are self serve. You want just a few - or too many chips? Just help yourself. Multiple salsas, marinated carrots, potatoes and radishes are a-plenty and just enough spice. I always take a little extra tomatillo sauce home to put over scrambled eggs the next day! The staff is pretty efficient as everybody has a specific job and they stay at their stations. There's always a line, but they move it through pretty quickly. The decorations seem sparse, but do include typical Mexican pictures, wrestlers, and bullfighters, if I recall correctly. It's roomy, nice and bright inside, with plenty of tables. Simple, but just what we need! read more

I need the food is pretty good here. I ordered takeout from here two times and it was solid on both occasions got a taco platter both times and each taco was delicious and I also got a burrito both times one time I got the steak and I got the chicken. Their meat is really delicious. I think they're burrito tasted fresh and they had some good sauces. I didn't eat inside so I can't ambience, but the food came quickly even though I live a bit away from the location so the service was great. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised by this place, it's sort of more run-of-the-mill Mexican type restaurant of the ordinary so it's a good staple to have but maybe not something I would see out all the time read more

Wow, this is now my favorite Taco and burrito place. The prices are pretty good too. I tried the Al Pastor,Carne Asada, pollo(Chicken), Chile verde and Carnitas Tacos and all of them were really good. Full of flavor and the salsa's they put on each one was spot on delicious. I think my favorite was the Al Pastor taco. I do wish the tacos were a little bit bigger when it comes to the corn tortillas. But still good. First time I've ever eaten here. I got the breakfast burrito due to my favorite moorpark spot closing down. I liked that they have a salsa bar with chips that I took advantage of munching on while waiting. The burrito was very good, but there was one downside. The tortilla is clearly a large tortilla but the burrito is small so it's a lot of tortilla in each bite. If it's a cost thing I get it, but I think it would make sense to charge more money and fill the burrito to a larger size. That's the reason for the 4 star, I just wish it was more full and not mostly tortilla in each bite. read more

My favorite taco shop in Moorpark. They have taco tuesday deals on certain meats (not sure which ones) but I always like to order one of each for a total of 5 tacos. Got a large order of food for my wife's birthday party tonight. You'd expect a taqueria to make good tacos, and they did. A large quantity of pastor, chicken, carne asada and cabeza tacos. Generous with the cilantro and onions, and salsas. The shrimp cocktail was solid. Unfortunately, the Super Nachos were gross. Chips with very little cheese and a giant pile of meat on top. Even after the tacos were happily demolished... nobody would touch the nachos. But the tacos were quite good. Thank you. Oh, and for groups of 35 or more (we were not) you can arrange for a taco cart from these guys. Many of our friends have done this... and they do a great job. read more

I really wanted to like this place because it's been around for a while and it's family run, but I was a little disappointed in the lack of value I received yesterday. I ordered the taco dinner place for $11.25 plus an extra taco for $2.75 and somehow the bill ended up being $18 before tip? Not sure what kind of math they're doing over there, maybe tax is just way higher than I expected it to be, but it felt like I was overcharged. Especially because all I got was 3 decent at best tacos, cold rice and cold sloppy beans. Def not worth it. I would have felt ok paying like $12 for that meal, but almost $20 for that? Breakfast burrito on cold January 2nd - YUMMY! I was not in the mood to cook one more meal after the holidays. We ordered a chorizo & ham breakfast burrito, and steak breakfast burrito, and the no meat breakfast burrito. All were HOT! Wrapped in both wax paper and foil. Eggs cooked well, not over done or runny, tortilla wasn't all steamed and gooey. I asked for crispy hash browns in my burrito and they were perfect. Spent $32 on 6 little tacos, chips and a tiny cup of salsa that damn near killed me. This was the first time going there and my last. The food was alright but not worth the cost. BTW when I asked about sizes for the Salsa I agreed to the small and when we got the food she forgot to add when I asked for it. So had to pay extra and tax again on their mistake. I guess this place just makes food however they want when its being delivered. The order was clear as seen on the order receipt from the establishment. Took a few bites and threw it out. It was all rice basically. Just sucks because there really is no way of correcting the issue when you order it through a third party.
