Amazing food! Super large shrimp burrito & very generous 3 taco plate. Fresh flavors Great value! Will be back!

Asada burrito and shrimp burrito- you can't go wrong

Mariscos Pericos is EVERYTHING! We have been going to this amazing Moorpark seafood based food truck weekly for a long time- Flavor and Value! Portions are pleasing and we always have food left for another meal. Coastal Mexican dining at its best- Maria, Javi and her familia are wonderful hosts and amazing cooks. Shrimp burrito and fish tacos to "dive" for! Empanadas crisp and delicious- Carnivores have no fear, as the carne asada is incredibly good- The fresh made salsas and sauces are yummy and I'm a nut for the pink sauce ( not to be confused with the crappy one from TikTok- You can find them on High Street - Be advised there are two trucks on that stretch of road- this one is usually closer to the train station, by its overflow parking lot...

We are big fans of these fish tacos and freshly made fixings

This is the best food truck in California. FACT. My wife and I have been eating here in Moorpark for a long time. We love the seafood tacos and burritos from this truck. I get the Asada burrito and my wife loves the Shrimp burrito- We big love sharing the fish tacos And the ceviche... We really dig the empanadas as well. If I was having an event, I would hire them to cater. There is plenty of fast, easy free parking for takeout pickup and they've set up a table to eat on the spot, under shady trees to keep cool-

Order online on Wednesday pick up on a set weekend time and day. Pick up is quick and the food is always piping hot. The chicken wings were lightly smoked with this wonderful hoisin, garlicky, sticky sauce. The wings were so good. The rack of ribs were huge, with a beautiful bark. The brisket is always a crowd favorite. Some slices are the fatty side, other slices from the lean side. It's a perfect combination. The pulled pork is smoky and salty in the best way possible. The provided mustard bbq sauce always goes so well with the pulled pork. What dawned on me was the quality of the meats. Not a lot of excessive fat on any of the meats. The pork belly burnt ends are to die for. A smoky sweet glaze over this perfect bite size chunks of pork belly burnt ends. The Mac and cheese, potato salad, baked beans and coleslaw are all flavorful on their own. I applaud a chef who spends just as much time on the sides as the mains. It makes for a perfect meal. Almost forgot about the house made pickles, they provide a nice reset to all the richness of the meal. Thank you chef Logan and the whole crew for a perfect meal.

Have I really not reviewed this place? No way! I am an OG supporter of Zef BBQ since the covid days…read moreof driving up in a car to get the goods. And it's always been good! Can BBQ in Simi Valley be THAT good? Well, yes BECAUSE we are talking 'bout a good dude (and family) with an open mind and kind heart that brings that to his food. In what ways? Let's give an example - by taking chances with flavor - in the case of the past weekend for ISLAND OF ZEF. Like c'mon Logan be making loco moco AND bahn mi with island vibes and that 'cue smoke! And he's doing it out of a small as* kitchen with just a few staff, churning these orders out for the people. This is home-cooked value. This is local love and support for a business that gives back to its community. So what tips do I got? 1) Burnt ends hit all the time 2) Nanner pudding even better after you freeze it 3) Order early and chill in line - yep it can take a minute but good things come to those who wait 4) This dude SEASONS the food so don't be surprised 5) Themed weekends are a great way to explore outside of your everyday bbq comfort zone 6) Don't be sad if you don't see "Zef" live and in the flesh. I promise you 99 percent of the time he is back there prepping your shi! 7) Follow him on social media and be entertained (Do I have critiques? I mean nothing is ever perfect but you can directly share with him and he responds. And things continue to get better! I have witnessed the work and the growth and it's been awesome to watch!) @this_camera_eats_first

Don Taco is an awesome food truck…read morethat's technically in Somis and one of the few places that serves delicious late-night Mexican food (past 8 pm in the sleepy town of Camarillo, haha). The service was fast and friendly and prices were reasonable for a street taco (in this economy). There is a table and some stools next to the truck, but I typically take it to go. I was happy to see that they had many of the staple meats here like asada, pastor, pollo, chorizo, carnitas, and cabeza, and was even more surprised that they had birria and tripas! However, I wish they had lengua which is my absolute favorite! We ordered the asada, pastor, carnitas, and birria street tacos and they were all so delicious. The meats were perfectly cooked and seasoned so well. We also ordered the shrimp and asada taco and WOW that one was amazing. The flavors of this taco melded so well together and there was even an avocado slice! I love a good verde sauce and Don Taco's is up there. I've been on a quest and I'm so happy I found a great spot to fulfill my taco needs. Some of my favorite taco spots are in LA and Don Taco is definitely comparable. I'm coming back to try their burritos and Asada fries! *Hot tip: service is fast, but sometimes there's a line so you can call in your order for pick up!

We stopped at Camarillo Outlets to try and kill time since our Air B&B is not ready until late afternoon. I looked to see if there are any Filipino food spots in the area and I found Lola Betty's. We ordered the short rib plate and the Tasilog plate and lumpia Shanghai- washed it down with Calamansi juice. Everything was delicious, 10/10. The owner came out to check on us and she was so kind, hospitable and shared some history with us on how Lola Betty's came to be. From food truck to walk up, she said that some people really preferred or hoped for a sit down restaurant. I don't have a preference. I only love the soul and passion that is poured into one's food. Love, soul and passion can be found here. The owner says, "I just really wanted a place where you can really be attentive and really take the time to cook the food the way it should be made". I can tell that she loves what she does and she thanked us for trying their food. I wanted to thank HER for feeding us! If I forgot to thank her, here it is. This place is worth a stop if you're smart.

The pricing is fair, portions are generous, and overall the food was good. As a fellow Filipino, I would love to see a little more variety on the menu since it currently focuses on the basics. From a business standpoint, especially considering the location and customer base, I understand keeping things simple. The only dish I wasn't a huge fan of was the Tapsilog, as the meat was a bit salty for my taste. The Longsilog was much better, and I loved that they included a small puto (rice cake) with the meal. Overall, a great experience and worth a visit.
