I remember coming here a while back and it was good food the ambiance was nice and friendly today the restaurant looks like it was taken apart and put back with no effort the tables got some red pepper as a center piece all dirty full of dirt there's no menu only a white board with what they offer. The man taking our order was nice but other than that it's was not worth $48 for 2 burritos and 2 sodas he said they charge for dining in $1.25 tax per soda and there were other charges on there that didn't make sense. Highly recommended this restaurant. Came by this evening for dinner with my fiancé and brother. I got the salsa verde burrito, my fiancé got the California burrito, and my brother got the enchiladas. Everything was absolutely amazing. I used to work right around the corner from this restaurant for almost 6 years and it always smelled so good- I'm kicking myself now for never coming here till now! The owner was extremely friendly and inviting. They have plenty or indoor and outdoor dining. We took advantage of the slightly cooler weather and ate outside. Do not spend your money here! I genuinely don't mind paying more for food if the food is actually decent. But they charged me over $40 for two burritos both with a side of rice and beans. The rice that was served was literally burnt and hard as a rock. I genuinely don't understand how someone serving that could see the burnt rice and decide to serve it. The beans were absolutely flavorless and the chips they gave us were stale. Luckily the man at the register was at least pleasant enough when taking my order. It's an ok place. The staff is super friendly. It was hot, and I asked for water and the cashier gave me a refrigerated bottle of water for free. My order of 2 tacos and rice and beans came with free chips and salsa. Nothing special but just solid Mexican food if you are driving on Highway 80 and need an affordable and quick pit stop. I hate leaving reviews like this but I'd hate to not leave a review about this place. The tacos were bad! The chicken and asada were no bueno! The chicken was dry with no flavor. The asada tasted super old and dry. My husband got a burrito and took once bite and couldn't eat anymore. The staff/guy at the front was friendly. Super hot inside and the bathroom was extremely nasty. I got grossed out thinking about how this is where they wash their hands and then go back to work. I'm surprised by all the good reviews. Me and my fiance both ordered a super burrito one was was wet and 1 was regular. both of us were chewing on our burritos and we kept chewing down on super hard hard meat and the rice was completely undercooked or it was just left out for many hours and dried out. I am completely disappointed in our entire meal we just threw it all in the trash. This place is a hidden gem, just happened to come across it. I got 4 cabeza tacos and 2 Al pastor tacos and let me tell you cabeza tacos to come out good, soft and meaty it requires talent and quality meat. Usually tacos are serve with anions and cilantro, but this tacos are served with home style potato chips, grilled onions and a touch of i'll authenticity. Must have tacos, one last thing must have cash; they don't take cards there for minus a star otherwise ya a 5 star place.
