I found a food and service gold mine conveniently located about a half mile off Highway 80 here in Fairfield, CA. A true small shop with an authentic ambiance generally found in the smalls shops of local neighborhood eateries in the Spanish colonial area of Mexico City. I truly tasted the love of food in every spoonful of what is certainly the best pozole I've ever had in Northern California. The highlight of the Pozole was the pork which was tender and flavorful. It's Tuesday, so we had a taste for some tacos. This establishment is under new ownership. The host was helpful and pleasant. This meal was very delicious, usually tacos are not filled up with that much meat. These tacos were perfect. I would recommend this establishment to friends and family. Saw a pretty girl out front waving a sign about a $10.50 super burrito and that was all it took to choose this spot. We haven't been here in a few years, but the owner remembered us , and is always super friendly. We ordered a mega carne asada mega burrito, which is a bit bigger than the super to go. There are several tables and the decor is really nice. The burrito was nice and big, the wife and I split it. The carne asada was good tasting, but I feel like the rice had no flavor. He included a couple containers of mild sauce, and a couple of the spicy roasted chili oil, let me tell you, that stuff will light your mouth up!! Very tasty!! Best spot for Mexican food in the whole city. I don't know of any other places that have Suadero, an incredible cut of meat that makes the best tacos. Also, the Chile relleno is stuffed with cotija cheese, in the Veracruz style (very authentic). Everything I have had here has always been top quality and flavor, and the owner is so kind, a pleasure to be around. Don't let the unassuming look mislead you. It was our first time here, When we walked in a super friendly lady greeted us. she was helpful and explained the specials. The place was super clean and decorated thoughtfully. The place was not huge but it did not feel cramped at all. We were disappointed that they do not do lengua. We had chips while waiting for our tacos 1.99 is ok, chips were more than enough for 2 hungry people. the salsa was served in a cute little container. (she gave us extra salsa in a squeeze bottle too) our tacos arrived in rectangular plates which was clever. i remember thinking, they should do this everywhere! the tacos only had a little bit of cilantro and cebolla. Kinda disappointing. Asada tacos - Excellent flavor. not chewy and they gave a lot. 5/5 Barbacoa tacos - not a fan. the flavor was there but i'd rather have the dripping barbacoa on rice than a soggy tortilla. 1/5 Pastor tacos - flavor was ok. but the chunks were big and chewy. wife had a couple of fat pieces. they gave a decent amount. 2/5 Carnitas tacos - flavor was perfect! they gave a good amount but it was not crispy. its a preference thing. next time I come here I will ask for it to be crisped. 4/5 Asian style Chili oil salsa - We were surprised she served us this, even more surprised how it went good with the tacos! very spicy! it was chinese style chili oil but made with mexican chiles. awesome! they sell little bottles of it too 5/5 Horchata - Delicious. just delicious 5/5 I would give this place 5/5 for everything. Service excellent, ambiance perfect, pricing fair. it was just the food. they didnt offer lengua. carnitas missed it and pastor was weak. This place could easily be a go-to taco place. except not the best taco place. it has potential to be the best though. I must have ordered the wrong thing, not sure what all the fuss is about. I ordered a super chicken burrito and I got this burrito with beans, rice, cheese and chicken. That's it. Nothing else. I'm fairly disappointed. I'm hoping this was a mistake on their part. After reading all the reviews, I was hoping it would be really good. I picked up lunch for myself and my family here the other day and had a great experience! The restaurant is clean and decorated nicely. The man at the counter was very friendly, accommodating, and helpful. For lunch, I ordered a mega burrito topped with enchilada sauce that had carne asada, rice, beans, cheese, salsa, and guacamole inside! I certainly did not know what I was getting myself into with the size of this burrito haha It was literally ginormous! I was able to conquer half of the burrito and save the other half for later. The carne asada was tender and flavorful and the combination of everything in the burrito was delicious. The enchilada sauce that was on top of the burrito was a little spicy for me, but very flavorful and delicious. The prices are reasonable as well. I realized that I did a review about this hidden gem about 5 years ago. We have been there several times after that. The past 2 years, we have not been there so we decided to go back there this past Saturday. My review remains the same. I ordered the super barbacoa burrito in my opinion it is one of the best I had. I wish I could give them 5 stars because it seems like they really are making an effort, but there is room for improvement. Service: Was GREAT, the lady is very attentive,friendly and fast. She was also patient. I had forgot my purse but was hungry so I counted all the money in my car dollars and quarters. She said it was okay and that she could never have enough quarters. Cleanliness: This place is as clean as it can get. Food: the food smells great and it taste good. Yet this is where they have room for improvement. they mix the veggies and guacamole with the food. I would say its really close to melt in your mouth. So heres what I ordered... Super Burrito (Chicken) and Horchata with a shot of their coffee and oh boy it was all so super yummy. I would encourage people to try this place out. I must say its a new twist to a taqueria since they also sell coffee and lattes with a mexicana twist. I have been living in Fairfield for quite awhile now and this is the first time here all thanks to the suggestion of my son. He knows how much I love nachos and he raved about how good theirs was so I should try it. We finally made it out here (ordered to go) for my step-mom's birthday. The gentleman who took the order was the kindest, friendliest person! From the time we entered, to him taking our order, to us leaving customer service was outstanding. We ordered fish tacos and barbacoa (special menu items), 2 carne asada nachos, carne asada burrito and 4 carnitas and 4 carne asada street tacos... while it was a pretty huge order the wait wasn't that long. The food itself was delicious and amazing. I will definitely be back for the street tacos because they were soooo yummy and their hot sauce, wow. The nachos were also delicious but my chips were soft, not the restaurant's fault. I didn't get to them right away so that was on me. I know I would have enjoyed them more because their chips are delicious. I would highly recommend this place to anyone craving authentic Mexican food read more

Food is very good , the people who own/run the place are friendly and polite and always asking if you need anything . They also serve a hot Asian style Chile sauce that is very good on the food . Did my first door dash today with them and they followed all the instructions on the food but I didn't receive my Agua Fresca drink , not sure if that was the driver or the Resturant .
