Super burrito
Kyle ..

I was told I was getting a super burrito but it was missing most of the items that make it a super burrito . It also took a really long time to come out and when I asked for hot sauce they seemed like they never heard of it before . The burrito wasn't very good but the restaurant was kinda nice inside.

Carne Asada burrito was dry.

DoorDash'd two burritos on a rainy February day. DoorDasher arrived at the restaurant 10 minutes after I placed the order, but he had to wait an addition al 15 minutes for our food. Our burritos were cold, dry, and bland. There was only salsa for the small bag of chip, but none for the dry burritos. No wow factor for us - the carne asada was overcooked with a slight burn taste. I am a huge proponent of supporting small business, hence why I chose this restaurant. Food pics on Yelp looked good, so I thought it was promising. My daughter and I were disappointed. May be willing to give this place another chance, perhaps the in-person experience is different.

My second time come here. Still a very solid local authentic Mexican restaurant. Tried the Birria tacos for the first time and I thought they were the best compared to the carnitas and Al pastor tacos. Fast service.

Rancho Fino, Fairfield: Oct 18, 2025 (4.2 of 5) Staff: 5 of 5 Noise: 2 of 5 Location & Parking: 5 of 5 Food: 4 of 5 Other description: 5 of 5 Staff: Friendly staff, especially our server Gaby. She took our orders, sat us at the table, and attended to us. My dinner companion is a regular here. When Gaby heard that just a week after their visit, her spouse passed away, Gaby asked if she could give my companion a hug. I thought that was very sweet of her. As you can see from the photo, she made my companion very happy. (5 of 5) Note: Gaby gave me permission to post this image after she went over a few that I took Noise level: We sat inside the adjoining room because the bar crowd was filling up the front room. Unfortunately, the noise level in the back room is excruciating high. We could barely have a low-volume conversation because of a table of 4. (2 of 5) Location & Parking: Corner building. Very easy to find and parking with lots of parking spots at the front and back of the building. (5 of 5) FOOD: Water was served, then a complimentary basket of chips and salsa arrived. The chips were quite oily, but the salsa was okay. (3 of 5) Rice & Beans: I've been told that if a place serves good rice & beans, their other dishes would be good too. I had the Rice & Beans, and they were superb. The rice was fluffy and the beans moist and tasty. (5 of 5) Taco: My companion ordered the tacos. She said they lacked oomph but otherwise had a lovely crunch. She gave it a 4. (4 of 5) Description: There are two rooms. The front room is where you order your food and pay, then pick up a number for your table. The front room also showcase a full bar with barstools. The second room spots bright wall hangings and colourful table cloths. Colourful fabric curtains adorn the windows. The tables and chairs are well spaced out. The windows look out to a nice view of the vineyard. Overall, this is a lovely room, albeit the noise level. The floors looked clean and the window sills were spotless. (5 of 5)

Torta Ahogada, Carne Asada Tacos, cold Modelo Especial and a beautiful tequila from Lalo

If you are looking for the best Mexican food in Solano county and maybe Napa county too this is your place. Good drink menus and selections of tequilas, an ever changing board of specials, homemade tortillas and tortilla chips, and a menu I have to force myself to try something new every time because what I had before was so good. Eddie is the bartender there and is a really good guy and always enjoy sitting at the bar trying all his drinks.

Tamales with chile verde

Excellent food and service. You order at the upright desk in the bar then sit and relax. You can sit at the bar area or the room next door. The food comes pretty quick. Many big tvs to see futbol! Cozy vibes , I feel like I'm in my mom's kitchen.

It was Fantasy Football lottery night and Rancho Fino was our place of choice for hosting. I was curious about this place cause I've heard so many good things about it. From what I experienced, I am curious to come back. Service is started by lining up and ordering your food near the bar. They have a laminated menu and board above the bar for your food options. The drinks looked cool to tryout but I only had water this time. The bar area was filled a lot of locals just chilling and having beers/tacos. Very relaxed and casual. The main dining area is large and has lots of tables for different configurations. Large parties would be no problem. As for the food, the Birria was good. Crispy shell and deliciously cooked beef. What more can you ask for? The fresh made chips and salsa were addictive as well. I definitely want to come back and try more.

Chile Verde...and it was epic!

We stopped in for a little dinner last night and it was delicious! The menu is perfect -- has everything you're looking for. The ambiance is comfortable and open. They have some great painted murals. The front room is more of a sports bar scene and the back room is a little quieter. You have to order up front (before or after you find a table). Then they bring your food and beverages out to you. That was fine but we miss the personal service with a waiter... "what looks good..." and all that sort of banter. The food came out fast and the staff are really nice. If there had been that waiter relationship, we might have ordered another drink, and maybe some dessert. All that is a first world issue... this restaurant is outstanding and we will go back in a heartbeat!

A little corner spot in Suisun valley, this place digs into its roots and creates some very soulful plates. Cuisine is spirited regional Jalisciense with thought and respect. Very casual and friendly, we frequently stop in cuz we live only a few miles away in Green Valley (the little-sister valley to Suisun and Napa Trenches) when we have a crave for southern yums. Sporting a full bar with quick and capable staff, Eddie or any of the cheerful cantineros (cantineras) will be at the bar to skillfully assemble one of their signature cocktails or anything that hits ya. Eddie is our preferred mixologo and can be found intently chatting bar patrons and shoulder-glancing futbol on the big screens behind the bar. Go with the classic "Ranchorita" and the complimentary chips and salsa to start. Wide range of beer and many local wine labels available. The method here is, grab a menu at the side door entrance, place your order, take your little table stand number and find a seat. Bar seating is also plentiful. The menu is wide and covers many traditional takes on Jalisco-inspired dishes. There is a rotating list of special takes that must be explored. Currently, staff curated plates are super-creative and tasty. Recently, Eddie's Baja Fish Torta delivered a huge portion of fried fish, tomatoes, greens, chipotle aioli and lime marinated serranos. Killer. Took me two lunches to eat it all. Get the Chile arbol side for extra excitement. The quesabirria taco is also a standout as the Nacho Del Rancho plate which is enormous. When Mole is on the menu, don't miss it. Incredible. Happy hours 2-5 W-F as well as daily specials and menudo on Sundays. Two large dining rooms, screens for sport viewing, great food done well, cocktails, its all here in a cozy local corner. Joe Bob says this nacho average corner taqueria.

Authentic, delicious Mexican food. The chips are homemade and crispy. The Quesabirria tacos hit the spot. Quick and friendly service.

Enchilada

I want to preface this review by saying that staff did offer to try and rectify the situation, but we weren't interested in waiting for a re-fire. Prior to our issues, staff was friendly upon entry. I was REALLY looking forward to trying this place when I saw it on Yelp. It had 4 stars and the food pics looked delicious. Unfortunately, it fell quite short of expectations. Of the 4 of us, 2 of us had dishes that were flat out cold. My nachos were cold through and through and my friend's enchilada was so cold that her cheese hadn't even melted inside. I opted to box mine because I could ditch the chips when I got home and add my own seasoning. My friend opted to just take the food loss and not take it. (They did take care of it for her which was appreciated.) For the nachos, they typically come with nacho cheese sauce here, but I requested real cheese because in my opinion that's how nachos should be done... I like being able to pull the melted cheesy, flavorful chips from one another. I appreciate the fact that they offered to sub the nacho cheese for Jack cheese. That was a plus. However, in hindsight I wish I had just gone with another taco. My cheese at the bottom, under my beans wasn't even melted and the asada was underwhelming. I was also looking forward to the homemade chips, but for me they just weren't anything to write home about. I did have a pastor taco that I liked, and the salsa that came with the chips was good, but everything else was quite bland/under-seasoned. As a party of 4 we each had components we liked (chile relleno being another item), but collectively agreed that it wasn't a place we had on our list to come back to. Based on the overall reviews I would of course recommend you be the judge yourself. Maybe we just came on a really off day?

So good we started eating before taking pix!

I really like this little spot in the Mankas corner area! Generally speaking, I prefer to think positively about restaurants that put forth effort to make my dinner or lunch pleasurable and a break from cooking at home. Rancho Fino achieves that with their friendly service and cozy atmosphere. Interestingly, this place has a young working crew and to do a good job the way they did during my meal is worth a shout out to their staff! I had the ceviche trio of tostadas which consisted of shrimp, octopus (pulpo) & fish. All 3 were very good. Freshness was there and they were tasty without being too lemony or sweet like many places can be. Of the 3, I preferred the fish first and shrimp a close second. Pulpo was ok but I did get a taste of some flavoring (cooking spice or sauce?) that did not win my taste buds. We also had the Birria plate and we liked this plate as well. From the beans and rice, to the presentation, this was delicious and not overly salty. It had a deep red color and the consommé was thicker than many other spots I've tried. Shout out to Eddie at the bar who was capably handling customers' drinks with a smile and overall great hospitality to everyone!

Walking in, I was immediately greeted with smiling and welcoming vibes from the ladies at the front and told to take a seat wherever I'd like to sit. The hit for me is that MENUDO is available on a non-weekend! I've been craving it and when I ordered it (on a Tuesday), I hoped it would be fresh and it was! The broth was savory and flavorful as is but with the added oregano, dried peppers, onions, and cilantro to my liking- it just made it even better! The best part was that you can either order it with pata or no pata. Shoooot, you don't have to ask me twice! I said I want the pata hahahaha that with tender and not overcooked tripe was just what I was wanting! If you love menudo, this is a place I'd recommend and go to get it regularly. The MICHELADA MARISCADA is tasty! It's a mixture of seafood in a sweet and tangy sauce. For those who do not like spice, this is a great option. I was with someone who doesn't like spicy food and isn't a big fan of Mexican food but MAN! she killed the entire plate! So now we have a place that we both can really enjoy together. Will be back!!

The chicken quesadilla really set it off for me as well. It was flavorful, nice portion size and I enjoyed the dip that came with it also. The Lows: The food was kinda expensive. It was about $60 for a to go order of 6 tacos and a quesadilla and a drink. While the food was good, not sure if the price was worth it considering all of the other Mexican food options nearby. Also, the tacos didn't come with any sides (rice, beans, etc.) which was unfortunate for the price. The In-Between: We found this place on Instagram based on a video review someone did. The parking was a little tough. The service was cool for our to go order.

Second they offered a 2016 bottle of Cabernet on the drink menu but didn't have it and tried selling us 2023 bottle of bogle. for the food and drinks we ended up having a cocktail and a couple of beers. for the appetizer we had bacon wrapped cheese, stuffed shrimp with a cheese sauce. Very delicious then for our main entrée we ordered lobster enchiladas I originally wanted the gold leaf hamburger, but they were out of gold so I just had a regular hamburger with fries which was also very delicious, but I found a wooden skewer that looked deep fried and got put in the bag of french fries that could have been very dangerous if I hadn't paid attention it, luckily I caught it in time so they took off one beer from the bill and then for dessert we had flan with fresh mint blueberries and strawberries. We felt the mint was overpowering to the flan. And for the staff. There was only one bartender and seemed to be swamped the whole time and the serving staff very good people zero complaints with them.

Unfortunately, the food is where things fell apart. When I walked in, I asked if they had a super burrito since I didn't see it on the menu. The gentleman taking my order said they did, so I ordered a carne asada super burrito. A regular burrito on the menu was listed at $8.99, but my super burrito came out to a little over $16 after tax. I also noticed Yelp lists the super burrito at $10.99, so maybe the prices have changed, but that's still a pretty big jump from the regular burrito. The burrito itself was huge, but after the first few bites, I was honestly disappointed. The carne asada was unusually stringy and fatty, which isn't something I've ever experienced with carne asada burritos before. I kept eating, expecting to get to the guacamole, sour cream, and salsa, but by the halfway point I decided to cut the burrito open. It turned out almost all of those ingredients were packed into the very bottom instead of being distributed throughout. The guacamole also had a sour taste that didn't seem right. I also noticed the burrito I received looked nothing like the photos posted here on Yelp, so I'm not sure if the recipe has changed since those pictures were taken. As someone who loves burritos and rarely passes one up, this was, unfortunately, one to forget. The free fountain drink and chips were a nice bonus, but they couldn't make up for the burrito itself. I genuinely wish this restaurant the best because the staff were excellent, but the food just didn't live up to my expectations.

I asked to add jalapeños- they said that would cost an extra $2. That is crazy. I know food prices are rising but jalapeños are still inexpensive - I've eaten at hundreds of Mexican places - not one ( except Taco Hell - Bell- ) has charged me for jalapeños. So after taking my order he told me to come back in 15 minutes - like standing there and waiting was going to cost them money - how rude. Another bad 1st - being told I can't stay and wait for my order at a place I ordered from - WTF? Also the prices are too high - I can get burritos in San Francisco for $12 and they're great - as I did yesterday at a street fare - I thought $7.95 was too cheep for a burrito - but $18 in a small town? The burrito better be best tasting ever - writing this while I sit in my car. When I walked in the restaurant it was quiet - Saturday at 8:20 pm in the summer - was dead and it still takes them 15 to twenty minutes to make a burrito? That is crazy. So the ambience did not impress me that's for sure. What could improve? How about treating your customers who come into a place for the first time nice and not ask them to come back? How about not charging for jalapeños when every. other Real ( Taco Bell in NOT Mexican food) Mexican restaurant does not charge for them??? Update - the young man who took my order seemed like he did NOT want to be there - and was not attentive. When I picked up my order there were two women who were friendly and nice to me - so I added a star. The burrito itself - the beef had a excellent taste and the refried beans were good ( yes - I have had bad refried beans before ) so the burrito tasted good but on the bland side as no salsa was inside the burrito. Etc when the first guy took my order and told me jalapeños were an extra $2 I said no to the extra but did request extra salsa - all I got was a small - very small container - I like my Mexican food spicy - and this was not - tho had the potential to be great with some heat - spice - the salsa/ more of a sauce than salsa - had an excellent flavor but no the mild side for me but if had a lot of it - it would have worked as it did have a good to excellent flavor - so it gets only two stars - had excellent potential to be great - but initial bad service from the male staff and charging for jalapeños and very little salsa killed it - can not recommend
