I was pumping my gas at a Shell station when I discovered this marvelous taqueria, can we say the right place at the right time? My stomach was growling while my left hand was holding the pump. I made complete eye contact with the taqueria straight ahead. I started drooling on my pump, and had to use napkin to wipe myself up! I knew I was destined to go there!l lol. Going in, it was a MEGA sized menu running literally 15 x ft wide. I swear can see the words even if you're blind! They have lots of options but the one that sparked my interest was the Gringa De Harina! First of all, I've never heard of a Gringa in a Mexican menu, only just gringo lol so I knew I had to try! Gringa is basically a large ass quesadilla, harina is the flour tortilla, not to mention made from scratch! I ended up picking the carne asada option. Figured you can't go wrong hahaha. Food was quick, it was ready in less than 10 mins. It came with red and green sauce on the side. First bite - omg EPIC!! Flavors of meat and cheese exploded in my mouth, combined with the softness of the homemade tortilla = Heaven!! The sauces made it even better, with a kick! Last weekend my family got together for game night and dinner. We were all craving tacos and my brother recommended this spot which is near my parents' house. I had never tried it but gave it a shot. Didn't order anything too adventurous, 3 tacos de carne asada which you know if a taco spot is good, they should know how to make bomb carne asada. When I got my order I noticed the tacos were FILLED with meat which is a good sign. The tortillas were also larger than regular street taco size. I added all the toppings, as well as the tasty green salsa they gave us and man they were GOOD! The meat was flavorful and not dry at all. The salsa was a good mix of spicy and tangy. The size was filling and we got rice and beans on the side which made for a delicious and satisfying meal. The horchata was also spot on. It was not grainy or flavorless like some other places. My husband had the al pastor and he said it was one of his favorite al pastor tacos he's ever had...and he's had quite a few in his lifetime LOL! Overall I was impressed with the food and will definitely be back to try more items on the menu. read more

Great little hidden gem! It's about 1:00pm and I came by for breakfast, which they are totally serving and that makes Sara happy:) I'm having the huevos rancheros. The eggs are perfectly cooked, I mean perfectly! My preference is over easy and some places can mess that up really quick. The ranchers sauce is good. The beans are infused with chorizo(charros?)! Hehe. The rice is good buuuut, it was just a tad too salty for my preference. It could be that I am drinking coffee and the sweet/salty contrast is too much. Also, the lady at the register is soooo amazing! She is so nice and I'm going to leave her a tip:) Overall I highly recommend this place! I have been waiting for something of value in this location and we finally got it. We see this place all the time and decided to have dinner here tonight. We walked in, got menus and sat ourselves in a booth. Staff was very friendly and the owner Manuel actually came out to talk to us and took our drink order. It's always nice to see the owner interact with the customers. It makes your visit more personal. After looking over the menu we placed order. Chips and Salsa - Chips were crispy and thin. The salsa was very tasty and hot! Not as spicy but as heat. Good starter. Burrito Divorciado - This was such a good burrito. Your choice of meat and I choose Carne asada, rice, beans and 1/2 green salsa and 1/2 red salsa. Topped with sour cream, cheese and tomato. The meat was cooked perfectly and red/green salsas were very tasty but not much heat. It was actually a very good burrito that I really enjoyed. Nacho Fries - This was also very good. Who does not like fries and now add what you would have on top of nachos, awesome! Seasoned fries with carne asada, cheese, sour cream tomato and green salsa. In the words of my wife "They're Bomb" They also have a salsa bar with different salsas, jalapeños, lemons etc. Walk up and get your own is always a good thing. We will definitely be back. I was craving for Mexican food and I searched on Yelp and found this place with a 41/2 star ratings, it should be good right? Well, I wanted to write a good review, but I am disappointed to write this so so review after I ate at the restaurant. I had three tacos with beans and rice and a large pine apple drink and the bill was $12 and some change. The lunch didn't wow me at all and the restaurant doesn't deserve a 41/2 star rating. People were coming in during lunch time, wasn't sure why cause the food I had was just plain tacos. The tacos from the food trucks have better taste. I believe this is a one and done deal for me for this restaurant. By the way there was a fly flying around when I had my lunch, just saying.
