    Sopes de carne asada

Food here is always so good! Service is quick and it's a little spot but it has amazing food. Today I got the sopes and they taste really really good.

Okay I am just going to do pros and cons because I only did a pick up here. Pros: * Friendly staff * Lady brought my food to my car because I waited outside for my order * Food took less than 5 minutes * The pastor was good and flavorful * My wife and some enjoyed their wet burrito * Place is affordable Cons: * The carne asada tacos were bland * The salsas have no kick * The food was just okay So if I am in the area I would come back because it is cheap and convenient but I would not go out of my way to come here.

This is a little hole in the wall, but the food is surprisingly good. Authentic Mexican food, you get a lot for the price. I always get the enchilada kids meal for $2.99 with horchata It is kind of like a restruant if you eat in, they give u a menu and free chips with salsa Down side is you do not know Spanish, most of the employees hear will have a hard time taking your order, so bring a Spanish speaking friend with you! Also I don't think there are any restrooms here :/

What we have here is the enchiladas verde, meaty, tasty, filling.....

Not a bad stop, if your looking for good solid food. Nothing too special, but nice taste..... A safe spot if your looking for somewhere inexpensive and good. Very hole in the wall, so don't expect much of a decor theme

Taquitos at quacamoles... With no quacamole... Frozen taquitos.

The meat tasted like the smell of a dog it was gross. I have been here. Before many times but it seems like they are losing their touch. And really they have never had good quacamole for being called Quacamoles

I used to come here so much when I went to North Park middle school. Now coming back as an adult I'm glad that nothing has changed. Amazing prices and quality food for not having a chef so early in the morning. Three women ran the restaurant while I was there and they offered amazing service. I ordered a special order of 3 eggs rice and beans(beans was no charge) and a water bottle for all of 4$!. Is that a steal or what? Even though I didn't speak Spanish they worked with me to get everything I wanted which I was truly grateful for, over all great staff and decent food. If and when I'm in the area I will be coming back.

The idea was to enjoy my coffee while getting organized--paying bills, planning calendar events, and having the opportunity to focus without any distractions from my usual surroundings. In search of the perfect spot, I turned to Yelp, a reliable resource for uncovering hidden gems nearby. Upon stepping into the coffee shop, I was immediately greeted with warm hospitality, setting the tone for a delightful experience. The ambiance of the place was truly captivating--it was bright and welcoming, infused with an aesthetic charm that instantly put me at ease. I couldn't help but be intrigued by the design elements throughout the shop, which added an inviting touch to its overall atmosphere. Before I settled in, I asked the staff if I could snap a few photos to capture the essence of this delightful space. They graciously welcomed my request, and I was shown to my table, which, quite uniquely, was designated by a number--a small detail that I found charming. As I browsed the menu, I encountered a small conundrum: I wasn't entirely sure what to order. I wanted to break the mold and try something out of the ordinary. My curiosity was piqued by their exclusive offering of Café de la Olla--a traditional hot drink that piqued my interest right away. I ultimately settled on a hearty plate that included rice, beans, and enticing potato tostones, accompanied by two beautifully cooked sunny-side-up eggs. As I waited for my order, I noticed the café was filled with the sweet sounds of old-school music from the '60s and '70s, which only enhanced the cozy ambiance while I sipped my drink. Now, let's talk about the food! I must say, I rated the café itself a solid 4 out of 5 for its overall charm, while the rice earned a respectable 4 out of 5. The beans were rich in flavor and received a fair 3.9 out of 5. The potato tostones, delicately bathed in a savory red sauce, stood out with an impressive score of 4.3 out of 5--these are a must-try if you visit! And as for the sunny-side-up eggs, they were good, but hey, eggs are eggs, right? Overall, the entire experience was quite enjoyable, from the delightful food to the warm atmosphere. A special shout-out goes to Ana, whose exceptional customer service made my visit even more memorable. The combination of fantastic service, inviting aesthetics, and satisfying food truly made for a perfect morning retreat. I can't recommend this spot enough for anyone looking for a relaxing place to unwind and focus on what matters.

It comes as part of an entree, but never found out which one. Turns out the cook/owner was once the executive chef at Angel Stadium. So food was solid, traditional and nothing fancy nouvelle or la de da...nothing crazy experimental...just good solid Mex that will satisfy a craving. The Jamaica was not too sweet not too sour....not watered down...light and refreshing....wish I had asked for a refill or maybe they don't do refills on agua frescos, I don't know. Very nice extensive menu. Plenty of free parking. Tucked in the corner of a strip mall on Roaemead Blvd. Not easily visible from the street in any direction. So pay attention to your GPS.
