A small place to eat excellent birria. Price is affordable. Come and enjoy.

I have always wanted to come to eat here. Not that many places to eat authentic birria. It's a very small place but very clean. The employees are nice. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone. Yummy.

I dream of this place since we went. These quesabirria tacos are SO GOOD. The service was really quick and the food came out very fast. There isn't a lot of seating so that's a downside but these were so good it makes up for everything. Truly recommend this place to anyone who needs a birria fix SO GOOD!

I came specifically for the Birria Pizza, and it totally lived up to the hype--and then some. It was incredibly flavorful, tasty, and delicious. The tender, slow-cooked birria meat combined with that melting cheesy perfection brought all my taste buds together for the ultimate comfort food experience. Seriously, every single bite was heaven!

Birria tacos were delicious. I ordered the 3 hard shell tacos with cheese and I was full! The other dish options looked interesting, like the grilled cheese birria. I'll have to try it next time. It is limited seating, no bathrooms so it will be good to eat when you're on the go or want to eat at home.

Loaded Friess reall would be nice if they were a bit more crunchy but the flavor was REALLY good.

Pulled over because I was craving some birria, so I got the birria quesadilla and my fiancé got the #1 and it was so good. They serve you a lot so you'll definitely get your moneys worth but it was bit pricey not gonna lie and the service was great.

From DTLA to Pico the best birria tacos I've had. And the horchata... OMG, so bomb. The workers are so cool, I'm definitely coming back, and I can't wait.

I took my family to eat here for the first time, and I have to say this place is probably the best birria I tried around the area. I recommend this spot if your craving some birria.

I've seen this place for years and have been wanting to go but the hubby always says no. So I came alone. WOW! I ordered a hard shell birria taco with yellow salsa. I wasn't gonna get cheese bur the wonderful employee, Nathalia, put half on without charge so I can try- soooo much better. You don't need salsa because the birria flavor is wonderful, but the yello salsa is damn delicious with the perfect kick! Lots of seating outside and very clean. They also hard great Rock En Español playing! Gonna force the hubby to come because he loves hard shell tacos!

For appetizers we ordered the Takoyaki, chicken karage and our main dishes Deluxe Tsukemen x3. The Break down: Atmosphere: 4/5 They greet you as you walk in, which I sets the vibe. You're welcomed into a cozy apace that has some decorative elements even to the music choice. Reminds me of our trip to japan, which I MISS SO MUCH! The Food Takoyaki: $8.95. 4/5 Stars. - Comes in 5pcs with sauce and bonito flakes. I liked how the outside was a bit crunchy and inside was fluffy! Karage: $8.95. 5/5 Stars - Comes in 5pcs. The sauce was tangy sweet kind of like teriyaki sauce. It was crispy but still so juicy and soft. HANDS DOWN GET THIS! Loved it so much I could have a whole bowl Tsukemen: $22.45. 5/5Stars - If you aren't familiar with this, the broth is separate from the noodles. Its a different way of experiencing noodles. The broth is thick, creamy and flavor profile is on point. Inside of the broth there is mushrooms and pcs of pork. The noodles are cooked perfectly and also comes with pcs of nori, soft boiled jammy eggs and 4 pcs of thick chashu. Portion size lets just say they are generous and we all can EAT ^^, Kakigori (MATCHA) $8/$14. 5/5 Stars - Definite MUST! Its made with Japanese shaved ice, a very creamy soft cream matcha sauce and matcha powder! I cant tell you how good this dessert is. The wife is obsessed and one if the main reasons why we found this spot in the first place. Please try! Service: - Super friendly staff! They are quick to get our order and serve our meal. I asked for more limes for my noodles 2x and both times they were quick. Made us feel very welcomed and checked in on us on a regular, which also reminded us of the service Japan showed us once upon a time. Overall: We love this place and we keep coming back with new people to share this type of noodle experience. Check them out im sure you will enjoy it. Lets just say we drove an hour to eat this. You def will not be disappointed :)

The…read moreother two ordered tsukemen ($26.50 for the spicy deluxe and $23.50 for the spicy chasu) and found it very salty because they chose to consume it not by dipping the noodles in the bowl of broth, but rather by pouring all the broth from the bowl into the noodles, trying to recreate a normal bowl of ramen. I can't speak for them, but I will say, if you order the tsukemen and find that you want more dipping broth, that will be an extra charge. Order a regular bowl of ramen if you do not plan to dip the brothless noodles into the broth for each bite. BF and I both tried the spicy tuna bowl ($7.95), chashu bowl ($8.95), and tonkotsu ramen ($15.95). The bowls are a little smaller than the ramen bowls and are a great option if you want a light meal without feeling super full. The tonkotsu ramen had a slightly rich broth that was flavorful and a decent portion of noodles. We opted not to order the ramen with the egg since we were also trying the rice bowls. The three items were more than enough for the two of us and a good variety of food. Parking here is horrible at the street level, so head downstairs for the two levels of underground parking.

This particular Silverlake Ramen location left me with a very negative impression…read more I have eaten at other Silverlake Ramen locations before, and the food was excellent. Because of those positive experiences, I had high expectations for the Monterey Park location. Unfortunately, this location completely changed my opinion. One experience in particular stands out. My family and I visited when the restaurant was moderately busy. We do not enjoy sitting at the bar, so we politely requested a table instead. The staff told us to wait, which seemed reasonable. We noticed that a table had just become available and was being cleaned, so naturally we assumed it was being prepared for us. After waiting for nearly 10 minutes, a staff member finally returned and told us, "Sorry, it looks like we can't seat you at a table. You'll have to sit at the bar." At that point, I wasn't upset that a table wasn't available. What bothered me was being left waiting for so long when they could have simply told us from the beginning that only bar seating was available. Instead, we waited with the expectation that a table was being prepared, only to be told otherwise after wasting our time. We simply said "OK" and left without eating. The lack of communication and consideration left a bad impression that has stayed with me ever since. The food at other Silverlake Ramen locations may be excellent, but I have no desire to return to this Monterey Park location. Fortunately, there are several other Silverlake Ramen restaurants nearby, including Pasadena and other areas, and I would rather visit those instead.

What we love is how customizable everything is-- you can choose your noodle firmness (soft to firm), soup oil level (light to rich), and soup base (mild to strong). Then add your favorite toppings. Not every ramen shop offers this level of customization! Another highlight is their lunch special starting at $18.45, available daily from 11 AM to 3 PM. But found out it sold out in less than a day There's no collab decor as described on the website inside the store. The gyoza is small in size but packed with flavor. Might wish the size is slightly bigger though. Ramen is same as I remember years ago (customizable with noodle firmness, oil level, and saltiness level with the tare). Regular ramen contains 2 pieces of chashu, red ginger, and green onion (that I omitted) and a sprinkle of sesame seed. Everything else is add-ons so can get quite pricy for a medium portion size ramen if you start adding more toppings to it. I was sat right at the bar next to the register so I guess service is quick and attentive overall it's still a solid choice for ramen but without much special combo meals options or collab events, might not return as regularly due to price.
