Birrira and adobado tacos
Jamie P.

Convenient, easy-access location sharing a lot with SeaChange. Straightforward ordering, with comparable pricing /portions to the sit-in Mexican restaurants in the area. Kind service, ready to answer any questions. Ordered two tacos: one birrira and one adobado. They were both good, but the birrira was out of this world delicious! Not too busy. Looking forward to going again, for sure

Co-located with Sea Change cannabis shop but don't let that deter you if that's not your thing. This place was amazing!!! The food was delicious and there was a lot of it for the price. The staff was very friendly and our food didn't take long to make either. There are a couple of tables out front you can eat at which makes it very convenient.

Best tacos in the area!!! The birria and asada tacos are the family favorite! You literally can't go wrong with anything you get though!! SO good!

Carnitas tacos with double tortillas and spicy salsa

One of the best carnitas tacos I've ever had! I have tried their birria (which is fantastic!) and their tamales as well but those carnitas....they are the reason to keep coming back, in my opinion. Great service and friendly smiles all around. Love this spot. Check them out when you're in the area for sure!

Support this business. They feed those in need and the owner's son is a U.S. Marine.

Pretty nice atmosphere walking in. Was seated immediately…read more Salsa had a more smokey flavor but not much spice. It was good, would like a little more pepper. Margarita was strong, no complaints on that. I ordered pork street tacos but there was no radish, lime or green sauce but good on cilantro, which I love. You will need to request those separately. The meat was there but could use a little more spice. I get it, they probably don't want to over flavor but I am not one to say more kick either, so for me to say that is something. That's the only reason I gave 4 stars because this girl needs to have more spice from a Mexican restaurant.

I was looking forward to visiting this restaurant again. At one time the burritos were excellent…read more The food was disappointing, or worse. The service was unsatisfactory in that it felt like we were not welcome. This was despite the restaurant being half empty at lunchtime. This time the burrito was wrapped in a plain, dry taco with no cheese or sauce, stuffed with dry chicken and a few beans. The menu said it included cheese and rice. This one didn't. Eating it was like chewing rawhide. With tip, it cost more than $30. Don't bother. Jefferson County boasts a number of good Mexican restaurants. I did complain but received no response.

Cool little Mexican restaurant in downtown Port Townsend. Old town cafe vibe with Mexican cuisine…read morethat uses some local PNW sourced ingredients. Both tacos we had were fantastic, and the chips and guacamole were great too. The tortilla chips were warm and tasty so I assume that they prep them on site. My daughter loved the horchata too. A great place to stop in when in town or traveling through.

PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW IF YOURE A TOURIST OR SOMEONE FROM OUT OF TOWN:…read more Do not visit this restaurant with the expectation in mind that it is adjacent to authentic, flavorful Mexican food you may have had before. This was one of the most bland and tasteless renditions of "Mexican" food that has ever graced my taste buds. I've had better treatment to my mouth from Taco Bell For how expensive these entrees were, I was expecting much more from the flavor department. Like I am genuinely baffled about how non-existent the flavor was. I ordered the Mole Rojo Con Pollo, and I received the most pathetic excuse for a molé I've ever had. No Flavor whatsoever. Black beans and white or brown rice (couldn't tell but it was gross, and seriously no Mexican rice?!). I'm a big dude and always am a part of the clean plate club, but this meal was such an utter disappointment that I didn't even finish more than half of it. The saving grace of this place is their service staff. Probably the best service I've ever received at a sit down restaurant, nicest people. My honest and whole-heartedly genuine recommendation to "La Cocina": fire the whole kitchen staff, or scrap the menu and start from scratch.
