Had to be some of the worst oil laden tacos I've ever attempted to eat. Service was great, but dang, I was so disappointed and left hungry.

Food was dry and tasteless, service was horrible, took them an hour to serve my daughter dry up nachos with cheese only. I had the meat flautas and they had no flavor, the meat was dry. I've been wanting to try this place out since it opened but never did until this weekend when I was really craving some tacos! I got the bistec ones and man was everything super oily. I mean beyond. I get that tacos are greasy but they overdid it with the oil. The beans were oily, the salsa was oily--who puts oil in their salsa because I sure don't! The tacos were okay and I just couldn't get past the fact of how much oil there was in the food! The restaurant is nice and has a very upbeat atmosphere though. read more

Little hidden gem under the guise of an old gas station. This place has the highly sought after green sauce that will make anything taste amazing. The grilled beef fajita tacos with cilantro and cheese will be a reason for my return in the near future. Parking isn't he easiest. But that will be your only woe. The only reason they're getting 2 stars and not 1 is because the inside is nice for a little casual date and the 3 people I encountered were very friendly, BUT I went by myself for the food. Now the food is another story. I normally go to La Toreado Taco House across from Odessa College for this style food, but my friend mentioned this place for pastor. I got the pastor, the smaller pieces were literally like jerky. The bigger pieces were like deep fried carnitas. That's not pastor. At least not fresh. I hadn't eaten all day so I ate 3 of the 5 (I usually eat 8-10 of these at Toreado) after dowsing them in lime and their avocado Habanero sauce. Now I'm literally typing this on the toilet the following morning and my stomach is turning. If you want this type of street taco food, the pastor and lambre, etc. go to Toreado. I've been going there for a year and it's NEVER disappointed me. read more

Came in and there was a group of 6 people waiting to be sat down I let them know I was alone and the host brought me right in I asked him about the people waiting and he snickered that they were waiting to sit together at 1 table as he walked me in I saw that there were quite a few tables they could have put together to sit the party of 6 but I guess they were too lazy to do that for paying customers. As I sat down it took them a while before a waiter came to ask me if I wanted a drink or appetizer and when he did I asked him a few questions about their food on the menu and he couldn't answer them for me he had to go to the kitchen to ask and then came out cleaned a table then came back to me with an answer by then I already had chosen something else to eat on the menu. I went to their condiment station to get my sides and there was no pico de gallo I let them know and I sat down my food came and I went back to get some pico and it was still empty I let my server know still didn't get filled just ate my food and left. For a short time, this was the best taco in town. They also had unique enchiladas which were excellent and of course, no longer available. Now, the quality is just not there. Do people really want hot dogs in their beans? Something about pink slime just doesn't fit with Mexican food, and I take that as a sign that other corners are cut without concern. It's a very loud place I don't feel is worth going to unless something changes for the better. Maybe they should bring back the enchiladas. Very bad service, had a take out order and the food was burned, we called the restaurant to report it and the owner said he cooked it him self and that the food was good, he said "if you don't like it, next time don't eat here" what kind of customer service is this? I went into the restaurant Wednesday with my family. We ordered beef flautas & they were literally burnt. The beef meat was so hard. To top it all off they put literally a pound of queso fresco, crema & lettuce. I also placed a to go order & ordered some "espadas" they were all burnt on the edges. I understand they are toasted not burnt. I called the place just to let them know & talking to the guy he was not comprehensive at all. He was like ok I listened now let me ask you, do you even know what an espada is? I was like uh yeah. They are toasted. I said they were burnt. He then tells me you have other choices to go eat. This is my new favorite place in Odessa. Wow, it is authentic mexican food. The tacos discada were amazing. Both the green & red salsas were both great. The red is "muy picoso" (very hot), so I would recommend you try it before pouring it all over your food or you'll be sweating buckets. The green has a such a good flavor as well. Tuesdays & Thursdays are "Al Pastor" especial day. Basically 10 tacos Al Pastor for the price of 5. There isnt a better deal on tacos of this quality anywhere. The charro beans were just as good as the tacos! My sole issue was that the mens restroom needs a diaper changing station but the food was so good I would return & change my daughters diaper in the womens restroom for the rest of my life if they choose not to get a diaper changing station. I just ate lunch there today & Im contemplating returning already for dinner. The lady working the register was super nice as well, she had a recommendation for my next visit. I will DEFINATELY recommend this place to as many people as I can. read more

this place has such great service and amazing food. I am obsessed with their al pastor tacos and nachos. But really anything you eat here is delicious. After tragedy struck Odessa, this wonderful community restaurant offered meals to first responders and healthcare teams. when my friend and I came in and showed them our nurse badges they refuse to let us pay for anything. They said that they just wanted to support the community.
