My husband ordered enchiladas and we agreed, per usual that we would split everything. I ordered huarache and then last minute we decided to do an order of the plantains, (only one not pictures) sorry y'all they were delicious!!! The only flaw I saw was the guy in back, guessing owner, pretty much ran the entire show, which is badass, however I wished he wore gloves!! And then I almost ate both foil and wax paper from scraping the plastic to the bottom, it was worth it. We love finding authentic little places like this, they started with a food struck and now have this little hole in the wall place that packs a powerful punch! Oh and their green hot sauce that came in the soufflé cup was amazing! If not for my son, I would have drenched my food in it! So good! We would definitely come back, but I'd research the menu a little more before coming, so I can figure out what I want beforehand.

Here's what to know about Juan Lewis : it's a food trailer (Appears stationary and not a traveling food truck) located in the parking lot of Lewis Barbecue. It's owned by the same mastermind behind Lewis BBQ, John Lewis . There is picnic table seating with nice shady trees so you can relax and enjoy your food . They serve awesome frozen margaritas! They also have other adult beverage options, as well as non alcoholic choices. The tacos are great . They use corn tortillas but you can request flour if you want. The tortillas are made in house and I found the texture and taste of the corn tortillas to be tasty . They offer green chili beef or chicken tinga tacos . Three come in a order and you can mix and match so I recommend trying both as they are both delicious! There is a little heat in the beef tacos from the hatch green chilis and the flavor is amazing . Both tacos include lettuce, cheese and pico de gallo. Tacos include a couple sauces on the side- the green sauce is my favorite and has a kick to it . Order the guacamole. It's fresh , healthy and delicious. I recommend adding a spritz of lime to it for a citrusy kick . Can't wait to return and further explore their menu!
