Unfortunately, our department will no longer be ordering from Fajitas Y Salsa in West Grove. We had been ordering lunch from them on a weekly basis, typically spending at least $150 per order, so we considered ourselves regular and loyal customers. During our most recent experience, we were told that chips and salsa are only provided to customers dining in. Even after ordering two small quesos and a small guacamole, chips were not included and we were told we would need to pay an additional $10 for them. When we questioned the policy, the response we received was essentially that we could purchase the chips or go without them. What was most disappointing, however, was the attitude we encountered when expressing our concerns. We were told by management that they "have the best food around, so it doesn't matter--we'll be back." That response was incredibly dismissive, especially toward customers who had consistently supported the business and spent a significant amount of money there. Unfortunately, they were mistaken--we will not be back. To make matters worse, two members of our group experienced significant stomach issues after eating the food that day. There are other local restaurants that have consistently provided us with both excellent food and exceptional customer service. Taquería Moroleón has catered lunches for us, sometimes with very little notice, and has always been accommodating, kind, and professional. Their food is excellent, and their customer service is equally impressive. Taquería Los Juarez has also provided us with fantastic food and wonderful service. Supporting local businesses is important to me, but customer service matters too. When customers consistently support your business, they should at the very least be treated with courtesy and respect. There are too many great local restaurants that truly appreciate their customers for us to continue spending our money somewhere that made us feel otherwise.

I ordered the carnitas (roasted pork) huaraches. The pork was juicy, and the toppings fresh. This nice sized portion kept me full all day. I did not see a Diet Coke in the drink refrigerator. I got a bottled water (better for me). The gentleman behind the counter and the register lady were very friendly. Thank goodness I took Spanish in high school, because I use it at Mexican restaurants.
