I hate to have to write this but after my experience there today with a newer lady I'm devastated with how my eyebrows turned out. Today when I got there with my daughter 15mins before closing time I knew we both wanted to go with Tara since I'm not familiar with the newer lady. But I could tell that Tara was ready to close since she kept looking at the clock so I thought fine I'll just let the other woman do my eyebrows for this one time. WOW what a huge mistake. I should have known since last time I saw girls lined up waiting for Tara for over 30mins just to avoid the other woman. Now I know why. She MESSED up my eyebrows so bad. They're extremely thin and not only that but she left a huge patch where my arch is. They're beyond repair. I'll just have to wait for them to grow in which will take about a month. I have no idea how I'm going to walk around like this. I'm sad that I'll have to find a new spot. Tara's work is amazing but I can't risk having this other woman touch my eyebrows ever again. read more

I found this gem through yelp and although the reviews were great I was still in doubt since I'm truly picky with my eyebrows. I went in and was seen right away the atmosphere was very relaxing. Tara is the best hands down!! My daughter and I have been going here for years and we don't trust anybody else with our eyebrows. Threading is meticulous and virtually painless. I been going to the same eyebrow threading for 10 years but ever since I got a new job I haven't gone to it , since today is Halloween I decided to give this place a shot . I was skeptical at first , but I'm so glad I came here . I had no problem with parking, when I walked in I was greeted by Tara & she told me to sit down . Arju ended up doing my eyebrows . I love the fact that she took her time , was careful and the background peaceful music was amazing . To finish it off the massage was amazing . All that process just for $7 ! What ?! This is my second review for this place and I think they really deserve it. This place makes you feel like you have come to a spa to get your eyebrows done. They always have serene music playing and they do not rush you at all even if there are people waiting. I had grown out my eyebrows because I hadn't had much time to get them done. Anyone who has done that before would know how much it hurts. The girl totally, anticipated that and was ever so gentle and careful. My eyes sometimes water while getting them done and she made sure she paused to dab them. She also applies aloe Vera gel and gives you a 2 minute massage. The younger lady (who may be Tara's daughter) has improved much in the past couple years, they are both very precise and do a pain-free eyebrow threading. My first time coming here. The other place I go to was booked. Walked in and was lucky to have nobody ahead of me! The young lady who threaded my brows was so sweet and took her time. Usually when I get them done by other threadists, it doesn't take this long but it hurts twice as more. She was so gentle and I'd much rather have someone take their time and do a good job in place of rushing for the next clients. At the end there's a nice little massage. Thank you! I have never been disappointed when Tara has done my eyebrows. That being said, I have been coming here for about a year and a half. I usually get the girl who works in the middle chair or I get Tara. The girl at the last chair (farthest from the door) SUCKS. I don't know if she is new or if she only works a few hours but her technique sucks. I always have little red bumps on my skin because she pinches it when she is threading. She is slow and it hurts so bad when she does it. I few weeks ago, I went in and Tara did my brows. They looked AMAZING. I went back the next week (I usually go every 2 or 3 weeks) because they looked so good that I wanted to keep them looking like that. The new girl was there... unfortunately..... and I was in a rush so I let her do my brows. She competely RUINED Tara's amazing work. I was so pissed and I felt so ugly. They were uneven and looked like a toddler threaded them. Long story short, only let Tara or the girl in the middle chair do your eyebrows. If the girl in the last chair offers to do your brows, run away. Run very far away. read more

The place is clean, parking is easy, chairs are comfy, the music being played makes you feel zen! I usually hate waiting and like to be in and out when I get my eyebrows done but this place makes you relax so I don't mind. So I rely on Yelp to guide me through life ... and this particular place lived up to the Yelp hype. Tara's Eyebrow Threading is clean, friendly, and fast! I walked in (sans appointment) on a Friday afternoon since I work nearby and I didn't wait at all!!! That's pretty rare for a Friday, but since I was on my lunch break, I didn't complain at all!!!! I told Tara that I am trying to let my eyebrows grow, so she tailored my threading to the shape she suggested leaving room for my hairs to grow. I didn't look like I had fuzzy caterpillars by any means, my eyebrows looked very clean and they had a nice shape that compliments my almond shaped eyes. OH! I recently took my teen daughter to get her eyebrows threaded and I was a little concerned that they would over do it since she already has a naturally beautiful shaped eyebrows and all she needed was a cleaning around the edges. When we got there right away we were acknowledged and greeted. Where is the " she does great work with the shape of your face" result?? She did it way thin then bushy on the arcade. Probably one of the worst result I've had in the Last 8 years... this review is necessary because you shouldn't blindly go there expecting great results when it's actually less than average. don't be fooled by the 5 stars like I was. Seriously, I actually have good eyebrow shape but she managed to make it look like two worms. With holes in it! In less than ten minutes she managed to destroy years of good work. Recently moved to the area and have begun my search for someone to care for my eyebrows. I have only had 4 other people work on my eyebrows in the past so I am very picky about how they are done. Tara was okay, she did not do a bad job but she's not the best I've seen. She left a few stray hairs on one of my eyebrows. Overall her shop is clean and well kept, very friendly and inviting.
