I loved my brows! I tried the tint too. I had asked the person helping me to make sure they were not dark since I have blonde highlights. She reassured me that the tint would look natural brown as my eyebrows. Once she was done and I saw them I loved them! I have thin and spared hairs and the outcome was really good. When you go in you sign in on a pad , it tells you to pick the person you want or who ever is available next , as well as how long will the wait be . So 1 star rating for a few reasons. First off I called in and asked when would be a good time for me to come in. I wanted to schedule an appointment. They said come in, in 20 minutes. I did and they wouldn't take me. I had to wait for 4 people (40 minutes later) before I could get my eyebrows done. At that point I was annoyed but waiting patiently. As, I'm waiting yes the woman doing the threading is sanitizing the chair in between clients as well as her hands. However, she did not clean the eyebrow brush or scissors between them. If you were not aware you could get a staph infection from that or something worse. Let's say the last person has their eyebrows threaded and begins to bleed. Which is normal but then the brush goes through the blood and eyebrows. They could have bacteria or a blood borne disease. So the brush isn't cleaned. Then the next person goes and gets their threading. Let's say they begin to bleed too. That same brush from the first person is now mixed with the second. An so on. So this same brush went from the four people that I saw go before me. Possibly even more. Huge health risk! I had decided to wait and ask for all new or cleaned tools. If she denied then I would just leave. If she agreed then I would get my eyebrows done. I asked her and she did it no problem. She then apologized and said she was too busy to clean them in between them. That is not an excuse. Sanitation and cleanliness is a top priority. Especially in a time like this. They literally have the cleaning supplies there and extra supplies to switch them between clients. I will not be going back. She did do a good job on my eyebrows but not amazing. I still had to pluck some hairs when I got home. read more

Leave it up to me to find little gems in random places. If you haven't joined the Eyebrow threading bandwagon, you should start now. Yes threading can be a little bit more painful, but the pros outweigh the cons by far. In my experience, threading causes the hair to grow back slower, it doesn't stretch out my skin (your eyelids are the most delicate), and you only need to follow up every ~2 weeks. This particular location is awesome because it's the only one that offers exclusively eyebrow threading in a 5-7 mile radius. It's very convenient and that's located near the freeway, and you can come here during your lunch hour (like I did). Reva (I'm assuming that's her name/ owner:)) did a great job at threading my bushy eyebrows into a wonderful sight. She takes about 15-20 minutes to fully thread your eyebrows, which is a little longer in comparison to others, but she examines first then executes in order to give you even, perfectly shaped brows. Might I mention that she's very delicate with the thread. I'm used to feeling the thread, which has in turn lead me to believe the more pain the better the job, but she proved me wrong! The only con is the price. I'm used to paying around ~$4-5 for eyebrow threading--Reva charges $7.99. Oh well. When you're the only shop around for miles, you can charge whatever you want as long as there's a want. read more

The two ladies in here lied to me they said they do henna and when the lady finish it was absolutely horrible and did not come out the way I showed them..after it was done they said their henna lady comes only on Sundays and Saturdays.... Is there a NEGATIVE OPTION on Yelp?? 1st time I came here i got a few cuts (didn't complain, hey it happens) Second time here is when she messed up my eyebrows. I asked her to fix them, the lady didn't seem to understand what i was saying so she started to thread on the top. When i asked to stop taking from the top she seemed to get upset because as she was taking from the bottom she GAVE ME A THREAD BURN. My eyebrows look like crap!!! I'll NEVER go back. I started going here about 4 years ago. It was one particular woman that always thread my eyebrows, and I really liked how the shape came out. Unfortunately she moved to San Francisco because her husband had a new job. After that, it was constantly new people coming in. And it went from 5 stars down to 4 down to 3. Yes, the price is cheap because it is $5 on Mondays' and Tuesdays'. I use to go to this place about once every two weeks or when it is necessary. But it seems like the girls there doesn't care about doing your eyebrows anymore. They didn't even clean up my face. She left a bunch of small hairs on my face. And also the wait is very long on Monday and Tuesday so I just find myself walking out and going to another place. The turnover rate of the employees there are high. read more

After a friend brought me here with her a year ago I've been coming faithfully every 2 weeks. I had been getting my brows waxed for so many years, so the thought of threading scared me a bit. The ladies there are fast and gentle, and I noticed the hair doesn't grow back as quickly as it does when I thread vs. wax. I almost don't trust going anywhere else because the ladies do such a great job each time. The Monday & Tuesday $5 brow specials are an additional plus. My suggestion is to park on Hawthorne Blvd and bypass the parking lot altogether. It is a busy shopping center so you may not find parking or be frustrated trying to pull out of your spot later with all of the "traffic". read more
