For the record, I prefer Target over Walmart for so many reasons but as of late, Target is on a slippery slope. I purchased some items that were defective and the next day I went to another Target to exchange them. The only thing is that I wasn't able to exchange them because the transaction from the day prior wasn't in their system. Really? Is this not the same company who lost the personal information of millions of customers that as a result had to upgrade their entire software system? Seems to me like someone dropped the ball here considering in this age of sophisticated technology there is such a thing as REAL-TIME data transfer. So I had to purchase a similar item since they didn't carry the same one at this store--isn't this a chain?--and then drive across town to request a refund for the defective merchandise. During my shopping I noticed the false advertising on several items. I will post the pics after this review. The negative comments are about the location in Cypress. Adam and I had a pretty good experience here. We came to look for rain gear and some cereal and milk for breakfast the next day after an unsuccessful trip to Walmart. As soon as we walked in the store we found umbrellas and picked one that we like and has done us well since purchasing it. We also looked for ponchos but a very friendly staff member told us they were sold out after all of the rain the area had been getting. The food aisles were packed and had exactly what we needed. We were very thankful for that. This is a smaller location but it was still nice and we were able to find everything we need. The parking lot is large and there are ample spots available. This Target was A mess when I went in there today from dirty floors over near the freezer section to unkept dressing rooms with Starbucks trash hair and lint all over the ground. I tried to exchange a pack of #Pampers that you sell for $8.99 and box of Up and Up diapers that you sell for $14.99. Combined you gave me an $8 credit! - Not even enough to buy the smaller pack back in the right size!!! I get why you might give less credit to buy things in your store if I didn't have a receipt... but I only wanted to exchange my diapers for properly fitting diapers at the same price! A box of $14.99 diapers for a box of $14.99 diapers and a package of $8.99 diapers for a package of $8.99 diapers. Just left this Target and it was of course a bit crowded due to Christmas Eve. There was one person in front of me at the electronics dept. register and nobody behind me. I had 3 small items to buy and Kodey refused to ring me up because I was not buying anything from electronics. He had horrible customer service skills. I've purchased non electronic items at that register regularly any other day, and there wasn't anyone else waiting for his help on the floor. There wasn't any reason for him to refuse ringing me up other than him being lazy. Truly annoying and so unlike a Target employee. read more

This is my regular Target, since it's the closest to where I live. Unfortunately, it's probably not the best one. The selection of everything from clothing to grocery is pretty picked over. The staff can't clean up after shoppers fast enough, since this is definitely a family Target. Service is friendly for the most part, but sometimes the people who are working guest services don't know much about returns, exchanges, or Cartwheel. If you are looking for more selection, sizes, and an overall calmer shopping experience, I'd recommend the Buena Park or Disneyland locations. The Target at Irvine Spectrum also isn't bad. read more

The store is having a super sale on Halloween supplies its 70% off this stuff. There was a big rush of people. This is a nice and clean store just as any other Target. You get quick and helpful service. The parking is plenty. This store has groceries too. I get 10% off when I use their red credit card. read more

I can't believe this Target has four stars! What are you people thinking? I just moved to the area and have been there twice. Both experiences have been negative enough to where I WILL NOT be returning to this Target, especially without back up. Yes, I said BACK UP because that is how freaking ghetto and disgusting it is. First of all, the employees are extremely unfriendly. Why is management hiring cashiers with attitude? If they're gonna give me the silent treatment or stare me down, the least they could do is make the transaction go by faster. The associates who wander the aisles are too busy socializing or rushing off to their next break. The aisles are filthy. There is merchandise all over the place. I have visited once on a busy day and on a slow day and the cleanliness and organization of the store was the same. I was a retail manager for over 5 years and the employees here have extremely bad habits when it comes to recovering their zones- they clean the areas visible to the main aisle, but say eff it to the rest. Also, this Target allows solicitors to stand out front and beg for money. I am not handing over cash to people who look like they are going to be just pocketing the money instead of actually using it for a worthy cause. One guy even bad mouthed me because I walked right past him without even acknowledging him. Really, Target, you let these solicitors bad mouth your customers? Customers who drop a minimum of $50 every time they visit your store? That's just sad. Additionally, I had another customer harass me inside this location. He was trying to get me to give him my phone number and when he wouldn't leave me alone, I had to resort to yelling in the middle of the main aisle. An employee saw this and did absolutely nothing about it. I don't hold Target employees responsible for that "man", but if a woman is clearly in distress in your store, I would think it would at least warrant a call to security. I once attended a presentation by Target in which they explained their marketing at the time. Target considers itself to be in competition with stores similar to The Gap or Macy's and NOT stores like WalMart. What happens when you go to The Gap or Macy's? You see employees working, recovering, and greeting their customers. That does NOT happen at this Target and if they would like to stay in competition with mid-level tier retailers and not the bottom of the barrel, then I suggest the management at this location up their game. Until then, I'll be spreading the word about this location and how much it sucks. read more

Not all Targets are created equal What happens when you put a Walmart and a Target 1 1/2 miles from each other? Results may vary from town to town I suppose but the majority in East Anaheim choose the Walmart. Well muy bueno for them. Sorry, but I don't like paying $8.88 for everything in my cart. It's creepy. This Target is new and yes they have really big flippin' carts as everyone has stated. It's clean, very easy to navigate but it isn't stocked very well. Many of their departments are bare. Almost like they are at a loss on what to stock. I'm sure this is all demographics as it's very rarely busy there and don't expect it to last very long. Let me start by saying I am a big fan of Target stores and much prefer them over Walmart or K-Mart (are they still around lol) but this location for me leaves much to be desired. Don't take this wrong, they still have a large assortment of goods that we all know and love at Target but this location seems to have much less food selection than other locations not too far away. In perusing the fruits the other day we stumbled across a watermelon with a huge gash through it sitting in with the others, I have seen opened foods, half empty shelves and even shredded cheese a this location with mold on it. No I know this can happen at any supermarkets or stores of this type but I tend to see something like this almost regularly at this location. The staff I have seen here have never once asked if they can help me find anything or offered any sort of assistance whatsoever. We still shop here as it is our closest location but I really hope they will check things a little more carefully and put forth just a bit more effort on keeping their shelves fully stocked and rotated. read more

I come here frequently since it is my local target, It can get extremely busy on the weekends, lines could get a little crazy. There is self-checkout which is helpful and there is a staff member ready to help. Only downside is the machines glitch sometimes with putting items in the bagging are. One thing I noticed is the lack of restocking & organization at times. I had a recent encounter in which I was able to see an item for sale on the website. When I went in store it was no where to be found until I asked an employee. She tried to help me but was directing me to the wrong product. It took so time but she finally went to the back and brought out the product I needed. She was definitely nice and helpful but I had to ask her to check in the back. I have always love coming to this Target store until the manager Andrea crossed by my family. Andrea is rude and does not have any manners when dealing with guest, she treated me with no respect and straight out told me in my face that the way she was yelling at my 19 months old baby was the appropriate way to do so. I felt real humiliated after everything she told me. I am very sad to know that people like Andrea manager at Target have this positions for this well known business. This target is located right off the 5 fwy, so it's super convenient. However, the location really isn't the best. On Euclid, there's a lot of homeless people literally walking in between cars on the street while the cars were moving. Overall, it's not a great location. Parking is easy, though. I was kinda disappointed with the closing crew. I came in an hour before close to pick up an online order, but the lady working the customer care service section was rude and trying to rush things. I said I was coming in for a pickup, and before I even finished the sentence she says "I need either an ID or ur email." That was pretty much whatever, but what threw me off was when she came back with my package, gave it to me, and started telling me something about the policies in regards to refunds or exchange. I was checking the package, and on the back there was literally a sticker that says "package 1 of 2". I interrupted to tell her that there might be another package for me so she went to the back and checked. She comes out and says she doesn't think there's a package for me, so I pull up the email to show her the items I purchased before she went back in to retrieve those items. I honestly wouldn't mind that this happened if she wasn't being rude because I honestly felt like I was being rushed and was inconveniencing her. Also, I noticed that empty carts are blocking some of the lines at the cash register. There was an empty cart literally right in front of the cashier, but no one bothered to push it away. That was kinda annoying. I give it two stars because the experiences here usually aren't awful. They have a Starbucks and the lady who greets you at the door is super nice. Michelle in customer service totally disrespected my 62 year old mother. She didn't want to do a return. Then was cursing at the computer saying "FUCK" out loud. She gave half the money back $25 and said the rest will be on the debit card. There was no card on this transaction. Where did the other half go? It was $50 . What was so difficult? I was called a bitch by a cashier because when she asked me how I wanted my bags packed and I told her, she did the complete opposite and I said something to her about it. This last time, I only went in there because the Target down the street I prefer to go to, doesn't have a photo center. Well, I wouldn't say this location has a "center" either. More like just one machine that works and random employees who may OR may not help you, that supposedly work in this so called photo center. They'll tell you they don't work the photo section and then when you come back to pick up your photos, they magically are working the photo section. This place has the worst staff, and worst customer service... it is so unorganized, dirty, messy, and any other word that can describe a shit storm. read more

Not the best Target I've been to. Plenty of workers, but they're never where you want to be when it matters. Hey, how about all of you guys huddle together in the women's cosmetics section and just... quietly shuffle back and forth from your left foot to your right. But 20 feet away there's 15 minute lines for check out at 2pm on a weekday. Really, guys? One time I was walking around looking for contact solution and a worker started yelling at me to stop walking then made a giant sigh while I stepped on spilled shampoo. Well, its hard for me to review Target. I spend tons of time at them because my wife likes them. I loathe them in general. Their electronics people know nothing. And that's the only department in Target that I have any interest in. They have nothing in my size but socks. And I don't wear socks. They don't carry any of the brands of shoes or sandals that I wear. But, if I am buying something for my wife - the price is pretty good here. And when we buy stuff for her nieces and nephews - the price is generally good and the selection is cool. So, as for me and my stuff - Target blows. But for women and children they seem to have a fine selection. read more

This has to be one of the worst Targets ever. Customer service is horrible and you are always waiting for 45 minutes+ to pick up anything in the drive up (even when it's not busy). The person doing the pick ups (name badge said Evelynn) was openly cussing about how many items were purchased and cussing out the people for buying the items. Was not whispering to themself or anything. My window was down and he looked right at me when they started saying "fuck them". After waiting 45 minutes with a 3 year old, I ask for my bag which I can see infront of me. He replied no and when I asked why, he said "because." I said again, I am not going to wait another 45 minutes and pointed at cars that were there before me. I said let me take my stuff. He still said no. Just cancelled the order and left. Tried calling target to speak to a leader regarding the many occurrences of this happening, and of course, no one answers at any department. This Target is seriously becoming Walmart. read more

My god this is the filthiest Target I have ever stepped foot in. It gave me such anxiety being in here that I had to leave after about 10 mins. I frequent Target about 5 days a week for all my household, Beauty, etc. needs and it has always been a very clean, calm environment.
