I ran into the Bedford Target on 5/31/25, and what a mess! This is such a shame because this used to be such a nice store. Went to this target yesterday and that was my worst experience!! Employee lies!Some employees insisted on lying to get me out! What is with this place? I have been here in the morning, and in the afternoon. I have tried different days of the week. Each time, it's like a bomb went off inside. Empty shelves, things are mis-shelved so you can't figure out what everything costs, and there is merchandise just piled in the aisles. If I didn't know that the Amherst location is perfectly functional and nice, I would be worried about Target as a company. But the contrast tells me that this location is seriously mismanaged. I suspect it is either under-staffed or run by someone who thinks a Target should look like a Family Dollar inside. read more

I am a huge Target fan primarily because the shopping experience is much better than the larger chain store down the road. This particular store does do a good job of stocking what I need and does seem to supply slightly more stock than the floorplan would normally allow. That being said, this particular location is going through a "refresh" to make it feel a bit more up scale. I am there to shop for necessities and not to necessarily feel like I am at a Nordstrom or Bloomingdales equivalent of a home store. Yes, a few items have been relocated of which I have found and they have not dropped any brand that I am usually in the store to purchase. I really hope there is not a price increase for the "refresh" look, but I think that may be coming down the road. Will see... read more

The Bedford NH Target is an absolute wreck and has been for a few years. Employee turnover has lead to understaffing. Understaffing means that half-unpacked pallets are left in the aisles, checkout lines are long, inventory is never refolded and the clothing sections are a mess. I never thought I'd choose Walmart over Target, but here we are! read more

It used to be a nice Target. It's a dump. Items are illogically merchandised (why is laundry detergent with auto parts?) and they don't have common items like wiper fluid. Items are strewn everywhere and employees just walk by them without a care. People throw trash on the floor and it just sits there. I think it's a microcosm of people just not caring about their jobs and what they do. Utterly depressing. If I can avoid it, I won't be back. read more

This by far is the best Target in Southern NH! It is the cleanest, best stocked and has the nicest workers! I also think they have the best decorative items ( picture frames, candles, candle holders, Nick nacks and tons more) of any Target I've been too! The location is super convenient! Right of the highway and there's a Lowe's right next door if you need anything there it's one stop shopping! Also, inside the store there is a Starbucks! What can make shopping better than a Latte!! read more

Feb 2021- FAIL! 10am on a Saturday AM only 3 registers open a line 30+ deep and complete lack of awareness to customer AND employee dissatisfaction. An employee totally overwhelmed is crying as she attempts to manages self check out and keeping up with cleaning carts, and I see no one with any of sort of leadership attempting to gain control of the situation. Target you should be ashamed of yourself! Years ago - This target has gone down hill! It is DISGUSTING! I haven't been in a Walmart in years, but this store sure compares to what I recall of Walmart; boxes piled in every aisle, messy & dirty. Not to mention they are probably missing opportunities to actual sell things because more stuff is stacked in boxes on pallets on the floor rather than on the shelves for people to shop from. read more

I purchased the Summer Infant Deluxe Superseat at this location, We arrived home excited to set it up, once we opened the box we were surprised to find a mess!! The seat was covered in either dog or cat hair, the toys were out of the plastic bag and it was missing half of the items. Today I went in and spoke to the manager on duty and complained as to why that item was not marked as a return and was being sold as new. Her reply was that customers return things all the time and there is no way for them to know if they are telling the truth or not about the items condition. To me thats a RED flag!!! you would expect them to at least inspect the item before putting it back on the shelves specially when they are selling it as a brand new item and charging accordingly. Mind you I was going to disinfect the seat before putting my child on it, but this just makes me wonder what other things people USED then return and this store without a second glass put back on the shelf as new, but not only that charge the same price! (other stores discount open/returned items). As a parent this is very scary to me specially when I buy all my baby product from this Target. I will no longer buy anything for my child here. if I wanted used items I would shop on craigslist and pay the more reasonable price for it. I recommend others to be very careful at this store specially when buying for a small child. read more

I would not recommend this target chain location. I went in with a friend to grab a couple holiday items. The store wasn't even that busy, yet management couldn't bring themselves to call other employees to the registers. I was in line for 40 minutes along with other customers. Absolutely ridiculous. One of the cashiers refused to throw away a piece of trash for the customer she was taking care of. Why? I couldn't tell you. Anyways this target is definitely a hit or miss. Beware. read more

I was at this Target 2/26/19, there was clothing all over the floor. There were empty spaces instead of merchandise. There was unopened freight all over the store. It looked like nobody worked there. The ladies clearance was huge but a total mess and very hard to shop. Again, it seemed like no one worked there. Fortunately, I did have a pleasant cashier. read more

I like this Target. It's clean, usually has the stuff I'm looking for. It's not that busy whenever I've been there. The view from the parking lot is great. Areas for improvement: there are always elderly ladies working cashier, and no offense but they are SLOW. Friendly, but kinda inconvenient if you're in a hurry. I don't know how to say that without sounding like a bitch. Maybe a self check out lane would be nice? read more

I placed an online order at Target today. While I was in the store I shopped for four additional items that I needed. I proceeded to the customer service desk and told them I had an order to pick up. The sign clearly stated - Check Out - Returns - Online Pickup. When I was given my online order of 1 item the customer service representative would not check out my additional items forcing me to go back into the store to the next open register. This was extremely annoying, unnecessary and ridiculous under Covid or for any other reason. Not impressed and I won't be back anytime soon! read more

Messiest store I have ever been in - grocery section was stocked and neat. But not one area of that store was conducive to strolling the aisles, packages on floor, clothes crammed too close to look, school section looked like a bomb went off. Several stockers working hard but no greeting or may I help you. The rest of fresh faced employees wandered aisles, cashiers looked tired, but helpful. I agree with the other recent reviews. I am a frequent shopper at this store but I have started going back to Wal-Mart for things I need. The shelves are almost empty (gift wrap). And the boxes in the isles leave it impossible to get your cart thru. This is a beautiful store I really hope management can turn this around soon as this has been going on for months. read more

What's the fuss? Been in lots of Targets. Sure, this one has a lot going for it. The location being number one. A more upscale clientele than others. Clean, bright, and such. Typical Target. I have been in this store many times throughout the past few years. They could do a better job showing the right prices on men's items. Had two problems with them. Also they never seem to have enough stock and run with what is "left over" week after week. You can go in there a month later and find the same pants left over from the month before with no new stock or styles available. Boring. And I keep telling myself it's not worth stopping in more than once a season unless I need something I know they will have all the time. The people are nice here - but unlike most other Targets, they don't go out of their way to ask if they can help, or do you need help looking for something, etc. They just walk right by you. Guess I look too honest cause I've seen them do this many times with customers that look rough around the edges or otherwise attract their attention. Too obvious. I have to be honest, I wasn't sure where else to put a review. This use to be my go to Target it is the closet to me there is another Target about 10 minutes in the other direction but if I can will go to the Hooksett NH store. The Bedford store is an absolute Mess. The main aisle has several pallets of paper towels, this is a HUGE reason why I don't like Wal-Mart but this store is unbearable. I went in today to buy baby gifts at 9am this morning, I was a time crunch this is why I went to this store. There is NO reason the store should have been this much a mess at that time. The baby aisles were half filled, many empty spots. The baby clothing area is a disaster as well. Walking around the store some aisles had shopping carts in the middle blocking them. Some racks are so packed you can't shop and there were shopping carts FILLED with other items in the middle along with pallets in front of end caps. I use to be a manager in retail and this is unacceptable! There is obviously a manager/payroll issue. The employees are nice but it seems they do not have support from management or corporate. PLEASE fix this, you are losing customers! read more

I want to sing the praises of 2 women working in the store in Bedford, NH. I bought a consumer cellular phone Sunday Dec. 31. I'm not tech saavy. The young man waiting on me did not offer to set it up. When I asked if he could transfer the info from my previously bought CC phone, he said it would take too long and to take it to a carrier store. Called Verizon and they said the device used to transfer data was not renewed by their contract so they no longer had that capability. I called Monday and spoke to a woman (Laurie). She said to bring in my phone and she would take care of it. When I got their, she was on break but the woman working there said "Laurie told me you would be coming in and I can help you." They got my phone up and running and did some extra things to make it more efficient. I told them I would be in a seasonal section and would return. They both found me when the transferring of information was done! They said if I needed any further help with anything re: the phone, please do not hesitate and come back. In a day when quality is so important I wanted to recognize the efforts of these women and point out the limited efforts of this young man. Thank you Laurie and Jenn! read more
