The Target (it's pronounced "tar-jhey") on Boughton Rd in Bolingbrook. Fast in-car pickup, no alcohol sales

BULLSEYE Whether an in-car pickup or in-store purchase, this Target on Boughton usually hits the mark. My wife loves doing Target runs, and sending me on Target runs (I don't mind the part where I get to sit in my toasty warm car and have stuff brought out to me like a king). Most of the time, the employees have been fast to come out when we can't be bothered to go inside, and they've always been nice. Last trip here, I got blu-rays of The Batman & Everything Everywhere All At Once for $10 each, happy to see recent films at such cheap prices. Now that I think about it, I've found some great items in Target's electronics department, most of them movies at a deep discount. Over the years, we've bought several pieces of light furniture and miscellaneous homegoods from this Target (storage cubes, pantry organizer, can opener) with mostly good experiences. This past Christmas, I gifted my wife a set of tiffany blue cookware and found the color different than what was on the packaging, so that was a bit of a let down. I was ready to dunk on Target for having higher priced groceries (a gallon of milk here is $3.39, compared to $2.06 @ Aldi), then I checked a few other basic necessities (Tabasco, a box of Twinkies) and found that most things cost the same as at Meijer. The shelves here were nearly empty during the pandemic, though, so that discouraged us from doing any significant shopping for a while. Of important note: they don't sell alcohol, so if you're roaming the aisles looking for the liquor section, you can stop looking--it's a 'dry store'. While it doesn't mark the end of the world, the Jewel Osco next door and the Meijer across the street are both well stocked with booze, so Target is the odd man out. * TL;DR * Generally speaking, Bolingbrook's Target is as accurate as one could hope for. This store is much bigger than the one we frequented in Oak Park (despite that location carrying cold beer/seltzers), the workers are friendlier, and the drive-up service is convenient. We'll continue to come here for as long as we live in the area; if Target were an airline, by now my wife would have racked up enough miles for a trip around the planet. Solid store with decent products. I'll be seeing them again real soon, I'm sure.

So I spend my time shopping in the CVS area of the target to use a coupon that I got at CVS. I go to the checkout and try to use my coupons and not a single one works. If they call it a CVS it should be a CVS. So aggravated that I just wasted my time

I bought my art marker here. The quality of the marker was good. The ink is not easily drained. When my friends saw and used my pen marker she asked me where I bought it. I'll say the name of this mall and the location of it to her. She pleased me to come with her to buy it. So yesterday we came here. She excitedly entered the store and directly went to the pen selection. While she's choosing what she likes I went to the selection of a paper. I bought a coupon bond, color bond and venom board. She was so happy to approach me with the marker she had chosen. Lot of pen marks she bought with a different color. We also bought acrylic and canvas. We will make a portrait tomorrow and display it in our room. This is now our best spot to buy our art materials. We can't wait to come here again. We highly recommend this place.

No issues with going to this target. They've definitely done a great job of updating the store. It is really clean and easy to find the items. The grocery section has really improved and they have all the different kinds of foods, even frozen and fresh produce like blueberries and strawberries. The parking is decent and it's never really too full so you get a great spot. Bathrooms are always clean which is really helpful. I've also purchased some items online and had it delivered to this store and they do a good job of handling the receiving although they do ask for an ID which is understandable. I'll for sure be coming back to this target location. Highly recommend this store. You'll find great deals o clearance too. The best part is the location since it is so close to all of the other shopping.

I grew up with this target- before it became "supertarget" I like the old one better, but the staff is always helpful and friendly.

There are pricier than the nearby Meijer and Aldis, but less expensive than Jewel Osco next door.

Plus Horrible customer service at pick up warehouse front desk. !! The only good thing there was the young hard working guy in warehouse when it comes to receiving the furniture. He should get a bonus. I was 2nd in the line. After waiting 1 hrs for our furniture, they told me I have to wait 1and half hour more, because they are on lunch. I ask what's their lunch hrs and I have been told they do lunch wherever they want. I ask for name of the person behind the counter or manager and the girl refuse to tell me her or manager name. Despite my previous attempts to open a service claim, the customer support team has been "unable to locate the ticket", and I have yet to receive any meaningful assistance although I have the receipt. I have made multiple attempts to resolve this amicably, including calling the location directly. However, I am concerned by the lack of accountability, including "Cesar" (who claimed to be the general manager) refusal to provide a last name and the continual redirection to customer service without resolution. As a retailer, Ashley Furniture has a legal and ethical obligation to address product defects--especially those that impact a customer's health. Failing to take reasonable action to process a return or refund for a clearly defective item constitutes a breach of warranty or consumer protection laws under both state and federal statutes. We want a refund for the defective mattress they sold and for corporate to address and give "Cesar" proper customer service training.

Fine, but they didn't consult with us on the height, and adjusted the bed too high for my wife to comfortably handle. I called the store and they said they would not come out to re-adjust the bed. 'It's not our policy.' What? We're elderly, we paid 6K for a mattress, and it's 'not your policy' to ensure a customer's satisfaction? I would have 2nd thoughts about buying anything, especially an expensive adjustable mattress, at Steinhafels.

If I could give ZERO stars I would!!…read more DONT EVER BUY FURNITURE FROM HERE!! The customer service is horrible!! We purchased a recliner sectional about a year ago and need parts replaced. The Velcro on the back of the sofa meant for hiding the wire connections and keeping them protected is defective and doesn't stay intact. This led to electrical components no longer working and making the couch completely useless. Now we cannot recline any of the pieces. We purchased the "VIP protection plan" when we bought the couch. We were told by our sales person, Fikrat, that if anything is defective or breaks they will replace it with a new piece. We were also told that it will cover any type of defects or pet damage. Well that was a lie!! We filed a back at the beginning of September and it was immediately denied!! After fighting back and forth with customer service and servepro (the insurance company) we got them to agree and send one of their "certified technicians" out so they could evaluate. We were then ignored for awhile, no communication whatsoever about parts having to be ordered. When we called to follow up, we were told the parts had been ordered and they would let us know the ETA. Well they never did and we had to reach out again multiple times. I was told multiple times though multiple phone calls that they would get back in contact with me to update me and never once did they. We just kept being told, "the parts were ordered. We will call you back in a day or so to let you know the ETA" and then we would never receive a call back. Turns out the parts were never ordered until 10/31 (almost 2 months after the claim was filed) due to "confusion as to which parts needed to be ordered." However, was assured it was a "certified technician" that evaluated the couch so why such the confusion on what was needed to be ordered?! Their "VIP warranty experience is trash" now I'm being told that the parts to repair the sofa will not arrive to me until March of 2026!! Then I have to schedule an appointment for them to send someone out to repair it. So we're going to be going on probably 7+ months without having a working couch!! I've called servepro and Steinhafels customer service multiple times. The girl I spoke with yesterday was extremely rude and refused to let me speak with a manager!! The sales guy, Fikrat, completely ignores our attempts to reach out for assistance (he has read notifications on his texts and they are read and blatantly ignored). Do yourself a favor and save yourself from the headache, hassle and regret and go somewhere else. We paid over $6,000 for this sofa that was defective basically to begin with because of the Velcro issue!!
