I am a target lover!!!! I am in there at least once a week!!! I use their up and up products a lot. We also use up and up formula for the baby so I have a lot of good reasons as to why I am in there every weekend :p. It's clean, it's big, it never feels crowded like the one in 225th (which can really turn me off from going to Target). The lines move pretty quick. They usually have whatever it is I am looking for. I am always using cartwheel, coupons, and I never have an issue. If for whatever reason my coupon can't be process I have never had an issue where a manager won't validated it. This morning while I was shopping at this target, an employee was stocking the shelves without a face mask. During this pandemic every customer that enters target is required to wear a face mask, but why wasn't this employee not wearing one? I couldn't even finish shopping for what I was looking for because this employee wasn't wearing a mask at all. It was very upsetting. read more

When they opened target near me I was so happy. Target has recently added self checkout, which is great. They always have long lines that go very slow. Now they have long lines on self checkout. They always have good deals going on, sofa, clothes, body items, even food. Since I am a vegetarian, I go to pick up some vegetarian food from here. Oh Target, how you make me so very happy! There are two Targets near where I live in Queens, but they are a PAIN to get to, especially at rush hour. I've had a bag of clothes to return in my car for a month, and I just can't seem to build up the courage/heart/wasted time to go and do what I need to do. On my way home from the Bronx, I noticed the glowing Target logo in the distance. A Target? Near the Whitestone bridge? But how do I even get there? Well finally last night I tried. 1) There was a gentleman walking the store picking up EVERY piece of any bit of garbage. A clearance sticker on the floor? He's on it! A bit of dirt from outside? He's sweeping it up! 2) I went to return the items I needed to, and with no strange glances, weird looks, gross faces, the incredibly respectful employee returned all my items in seconds. She was efficient, polite, and just lovely. 3) There was room to move! Things were spaced appropriately, you can get a cart through all the clothing racks. 4) EVERYTHING WAS NEAT! The belts were organized, the sunglasses were all in their spots, the boots were all standing up straight on display! This Target is a dream. From now on, I will shop at no other Target. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER !! I ordered online from this location for someone birthday.. And the item was available .. i later received an email after the money was deducted from my account saying my order was cancelled. When i called customer service, on top of their attitude and NOT giving me any info because i wasn't picking it up (although my bank card paid for it, which my name was on) the girl put me on hold for almost 40 minutes ! I am HIGHLY disgusted with Target. Why must I wait 48 hours to receive my money back for an error that you made ? So on top of NOT getting the gift and having to wain48 hours.. This target is a dead zone for nearly all cell phone carrier. And their target guest wifi is almost always unusable. Good look trying to look up a product online or calling your wife to see what's needed st home. Also, would it kill target stores to put some music on the overhead radio? I went to Target on Hutchinson River Parkway to purchase 2 Instant Pot Duo Evo Plus. There was only one on the shelf and I found a store associate named Samantha in the small appliance section. I showed her that the app said there were 8 in stock. She confirmed there was one other and went to the stock room to get it. Samantha returned with the Instant Pot needed. She went above and beyond and her help was appreciated. I hope management sees this review and recognizes the great staff member they have! read more

I have been to 5 different Target's in the last 2 years and this one is the worst. Shelves are ALWAYS empty. Meat section is bare and they have expired packages of meat. I decided to try their curb side pick up for 4 items. I sat in that dark depressing parking lot waiting for my order for 20 mins. When the worker came out, she didn't have the case of water I ordered. I had to wait for her to finish giving out orders to other cars, and then wait more for her to fill up her cart with other orders just to get my water. 35 mins in total for "curbside pick up" On the app it says they load it in your trunk. She told me to lift it myself from her cart. read more

Worst experience with target ever. I brought Xbox and 2 games from this place and turns out my Xbox didn't work, it keeps crashing and will not install any games. I called target support to see my options, they ask for the day and last 4 digits of my debit card number. To see when I purchase the product. After narrowing down my purchase they told me I was able to exchange the product at any location. Upon arriving at this store in throngs neck with my 4 year old cause just pick him up from school, assuming this would be a fast exchange, as soon as I got to guess service they told me you need the box in order to return the system, I told them I don't keep boxes to any of my items. The young lady called her manager and ask was it ok to do the return. Long story short she got the approval. Next obstacle, where is your receipt I told them I used my debit card is it possible to look up my transactions that way, gave her the date and my debit card#. Answer, no call target and have them email you your receipt, mind you I have a 4 year old that's been waiting in line itching to throw a mean tantrum, So I get off line and call the guess service number that's on target website, call dropped twice. again, mind you these are 10 to 20 min wait times. So I've been waiting for about an hour to get this damn receipt. Finally someone picks up and I tell them the whole situation again. They say give me 5 min to send you the receipt, it really took 10 min I know this because my phone was about to die and I was refreshing my email every 5 seconds. So the receipt that was emailed to me was the wrong receipt, so now I'm frustrated which I try my very best not show my, my 4 year old on the other hand blew a gasket and guess what my phone dies. So I go back to my car charge my phone call in get the proper receipt emailed to me from guess service with the additional information which was, all target locations are able to print receipt just with debit and a date of purchase. So I'm like you can't serious. I brush it off and say whatever, let me get a new Xbox that works and go home in rest with my son. So I go back in the store show them my receipt which I worked very hard for and gave them the defective Xbox one for them to say "you have past your 30 day warranty". Now this goes back to the very first time I talk with these guys when I approached guess services desk and told them my situation in told them the date of purchase and my last 4 digits of my card#, why couldn't they have recited store policy to me at that moment, why make me wait 2 hours+ with a 4 year old doing all this stuff they get paid to do. I didn't even know anything was wrong with the system because, I barely have enough time to play it, I work in take care of my son most of the time. And it was less than a month past due. I will never shop at target again. That was the worst experience ever. read more

I ordered online for pick up 25 sets of kids underwear's and 25 sets of socks , 2 hours later they cancelled my ordered saying they were sold out. I did not believe because I was in the store while I was placing the order. I just wanted to see if this employee will do there job, boy what a surprise. They didn't even bother going to check, hey lazy employees you will never succeed . I am 23 years old and I am already a nurse. I left the store and went and I got all the underwear's and socks at lord and Taylor's . Boy target lost my sell of over 500 dollars . Never ever again target. When this place 1st opened it was awesome. Great service, fast shopping experience and super clean. Unfortunately that's not the situation today. I spend more time trying to pay at check out, than I do shopping. It's a mad house. They never have enough lanes open. They do have a self serve check out but the line always goes up and around to the clothes department. When a manager is needed they can't be found. The place is disorganized. Very messy in some departments. If you can go early in the morning, do so. If not you will spend 45 mins just trying to pay for a toothbrush read more

My trip to Target was wonderful! The parking lot was easy to get in and out of, and there were plenty of spots. The staff was friendly and helpful, including the person who greeted me when I arrived, the dressing room attendant, the lovely cashier at checkout, and the person ready to take my cart as I was leaving. When I inquired about eye glass cleaning wipes, the woman working there also cleaned and tightened my glasses. The store was clean and pleasant to shop in. Checkout was SUPER QUICK! If you have a digital gift card and you're checking yourself out on "Self Checkout" lines, it's super speedy. Just scan your phone barcode. Those lines tend to be slower many times however. This target is open until midnight, so close to 10pm through 12am, it's a ghost town. Love stores when they're empty. If you don't drive the q50 and q44 is right across the street and those busses make some stops in the Bronx. read more

This is a new Target location and I love it. I live 10 minutes away (walking), my son and I are in their at least 1-2 times a week. It is clean, organized and the employees are helpful. During the day, it is not crowded, which I can appreciate. It does not get overly messy when it is crowded, and that's a plus. The restrooms are always clean when I visit the store, the WiFi is free and it allows you to always use your cartwheel app. I just hope that the stores stays the way it is and the Mount Vernon crowd stays in Mount Vernon. read more

I love love love Target. I am always at this location and they take Almost all of my money, but I really wish they would stock the products on the shelves. Every time I go for a specific item they don't have it on the shelf. The problem is that they have products in stock but they have it in the back and not out on the floor. On 4/23/2018 my wife was shopping in this Target around 3:00PM. She dropped some money by the self check out and a very nice employee named Elaine found and returned her money. Elaine could have very easily pocketed it but she did the right thing. Its refreshing to see such honesty in this day and age. read more

I talked to a sarcastic manager in the "customer services" at the front of the store and asked for assistance for large furniture and he assured me someone would be there with one of the flat rollers. I expedited my walk to the furniture area so that I would be present if they were there to assist me. I waited a great deal of time with employees in the area busy helping other customers. Nobody came to help so I went to the nearest red phone to request assistance... The phone never put me in contact with live help so I went to the next option which offered an employee to be at my location within 60 seconds. I watched my wrist watch and 60 seconds passed so I called in again. Another 60 seconds passed again and again. Eventually somebody showed up. Okay. I bought my entertainment center. Now I was told that they flat roller I was given to by an employee to roll my self was not authorized to be rolled by me. I then had to wait at the front of the store for about 15 minutes to have someone qualified to roll my purchases out of the store. I'm coming from Texas and San Diego California where target is a trusted establishment and chain and the throgs neck, bronx, ny location had no regarded for the typical target's standards. It's 2015, you would think they would have their sh** figured out and especially a big city like this. I called target corporate to give my feedback and they were experiencing high volume customer traffic. I don't want to harm anyone's career but I do believe corporate target wouldn't allow this type of service and I believe they need to be notified so that maybe the next time I come to my local target... a decent target in the Bronx off the hutch that if you can snag parking outside instead of the crowded tight parking lot its a better option . I have been to better targets and I been to worst targets so I rate this targets in the middle .it's fairly spacious and well stocked with the usual stuff and on a Sunday morning it's crowded on Easter with shoppers eager for sales and needed products for themselves , family , etc . I picked up some bounty paper towels and dog food , cargo pants which are less then 20 bucks and perfect for work while I sit at my desk for almost 9 hours . I had to use the restroom which I tend to avoid at any public store but to my surprise it was fairly clean and did not gross me out .The self service checkout line is too long so I scanned the shortest line available and cashier number 5 is the best bet as wait was less then 10 minutes . The cashier was nice and quick getting new bagged and on my way . I prefer my white plains Target for my occasional related shopping but this Bronx target is not that bad and the food court ain't bad as well .3.5 stars on my Yelp meter . read more

I shop at this location often because it's close to home. It's hard getting assistance when you need it i often get the i don't know or i don't work in this section from the floor associates. I went today Black Friday to to purchase the ninja blender the complete kitchen set that was on sale. I asked one associate and she said she didn't know anything about the product and that was her section then she directed me to another associate who also didn't know anything about the product that was on sale. At this point I was frustrated so I went to customer service to see if my store pick up order went through I was assisted by young lady named Princess who is also a store manager. Ms. Princess exudes what every store manager and associate should be like . Her customer service was exceptional five star she took her time and made sure that I was being assisted as far as looking for the product .....she even went to the stock room to see if there was more of the the product in stock . I hope someone from corporate reads my review about my experience at this location . Princess was amazing the item was sold out but her efforts in trying to find the product was above and beyond . I've come to this Target store 3 times , with my infant grandaughter and all 3 times I have visited , I had bad experiences , where I had store employees follow me around Like if I'm going to steal something . They lost me as a customer , I'd rather drive further up to the Mt Vernon location , or better yet Walmart not everyone is a theif . read more
