Apparently, I visited this Target over 11 years ago, bad humor and all. I have changed my joke on Dick's, in that she must have worked there, as she's definitely sporting the goods. :) We stopped by to pick out a much needed light jacket for Gayle. The 2 grand girls were in tow, which meant an expectation that we had to buy them something. After taking on additional adult beverage supplies for us, that meant some healthy snacks from them. That wasn't their first choice, but we got to make the rules. This is a huge Target of the old Greatland size. That meant lots of walking and a little longer wait at the checkout. Note: As Gayle and I aren't pleased with Target's recent DEI-related capitulation, we'll only visit a Target if absolutely necessary. Came in two days ago in the later evening 7:45pm. At the beginning of my shopping experience, I got shoved out of the way by a target employee running towards the back and then minutes later, shoved again by another associate who was running to complete a drive up order. Although we went in the evening, the store shouldn't look as neglected. I planned to buy my daughter shoes but as a consumer, I shouldn't have to organize the shelfs just to find items I'm looking for. Same goes for clothes. On another occasion, I did an in store pickup and the associate told me she was going to go grab it but she stopped at Starbucks first to place an order and waited for her drink before she actually retrieved it. On top of that, on the way to retrieve my order she kept stopping to take pictures of herself. Very unprofessional behavior. read more

It's weird having to rate a big box store. But I'm hoping that store leads will see this and address their staff accordingly. Obviously, target is part of our regular household shopping for all things home, grocery, and fun. My review is solely on the drive up pickup experience as the same thing has happened 3 times now, always with the same pickup associate. Not sure if her name but she has glasses and curly hair. 3 times now, have we experienced a poor pickup experience. First time-- the employee just walked up to our car with no greeting and just stared at us. Assuming she wanted the 4 digit pick up code. So we showed it to her and asked that she put it in our trunk. One of the items was a door hanging mirror. She literally placed it in the trunk, yelled "it doesn't fit" and walked away. Uhhh what!? -- the mirror fit, literally just had to push it into the trunk. (We have an SUV btw). Second time-- she walks up to our window again and stares at us. No greeting. We show the code and ask her to put it in the trunk-- she literally tosses the bags in the trunk and walks away. No usual target friendly greeting or goodbye. No broken goods thankfully were bought but the goods were all over our trunk when we got home (we live very close by). Third time-- same awkward non-greeting. We show the code-- she tosses the bag into our passenger rear window and walks away. -___- Not sure how target assesses employee customer service but please, train your employees more. read more

Online order and pickup experience is horrible. Really slow and inconvenient. I probably waited like half an hour for an order I placed a few hours in advance. The order was ready and in my line of sight but nobody was around for a long time to actually release the product and verify identification. I would recommend going in and shopping the old fashioned way instead of using the app. Everything else in the store is fine but they really need to staff the pickup counter, they had a few of us waiting for quite awhile! read more

I was having a rough day trying to find a last-minute outfit for an event. I'd already been to the outlets, Nordstrom Rack, and Stoneridge and found nothing. I was overstimulated, frustrated, and ready to go home. On a whim I decided to stop by this Target -- and it completely changed my day. This store is immaculate. It's clean, organized, and actually pleasant to walk through. It felt brand new (even though I know it's not). The lighting wasn't harsh or overwhelming, and the store didn't have the loud blaring music that a lot of places do -- it was just... calm. The women's clothing section is huge and surprisingly cute. I ended up finding more than I expected and pretty much everything I picked up went in my cart. Having an Ulta inside was a bonus because it saved me another stop, and the Starbucks was actually really good. I don't normally write reviews for Target, but this location genuinely turned my whole mood around. Whoever is managing this store is doing something right -- it's one of the cleanest, most well-organized Targets I've been in. read more

This store sucks! Management are incompetent and don't pay attention to their customers. While waiting in line for two items a senior cashier rang up a lady this morning at 9:35 with 50 items. She didn't even look at me or acknowledge me. I had to scream loud since no one was paying attention to what was going on. Then they threatened to kick me out of the store. I told the security guard to fuck iff and get me a goddammit cashier since none of you are paying attention. There are thirty fucking people working in this store and one cashier. Then the cashier they sent me had no coins in her drawer and I had to wait more time. I wanted 20 fucking minutes to buy two items. Fuck Target! You don't care about your customers! read more

I want to give a very special shoutout to my local Target, it's been since 2014 when I last worked there (Unloading/Loading 3,500+ merchandise trucks, Overnight Logistics/Assembly Line/Back Stock/Certified CROWN) lol 11yrs later and still this is my GO TO Target as a loyal customer and once employee LOL. I was just making sure to get the last minute deal for Household Essentials where you receive a $15 Target Gift Card with a purchase of $50 on any selected/qualifying household essentials. I took the opportunity to get those 12x paper towel rolls x2 ($48 in all) then 38ct Swiffer Sweeper Wet Mopping Cloth - Lavender x4 ($66 in all) then some of those 8pk Kleenex On-the-Go 3-Ply Facial Tissue x7 ($20.23 in all). I had made sure it was okay to do separate transactions where it was going to be at least $50 total before taxes on both given that I should have enough accrued to receive the gift card; however, I was off by like $1.75 for the 1st transaction since I had a manufacturers coupon for the Swiffer via Procter & Gamble (P&G) recently mailed to me; $4.50 off 38ct Swiffer x2 and can be used again for another purchase limited to 1 household per, that was a very nice savings of $18 (in all) I did not even know of which is the best feeling LOL. Vince who was multitasking managing the self-serve kiosks and express lane was super helpful and friendly, he did not mind me having a separate transaction since my spouse was working (she has her on Target Circle) and so I was planning to use mine and then my spouse's for the next one. Vince made sure that I was taken cared of and advocated for me to his Manager on Duty (MOD) Melvin who was graciously under his discretion able to grant permission for us to use the manufacturers coupon since the 38ct technically still works even though it is 2x 19ct = 38ct held in a box instead of it being a single unit sold separately...the most I've seen was like a 24ct and it was $12.69 per one. Anyway lol for whatever reason, I was off by $1.75 and didn't notice until after the transaction was completed; the 2nd transaction went as planned. Therefore, unfortunately, I had to go to the "Returns/Exchange" department and had to get a full refund with Lizzy who was the newest Team Member and yet was filled with knowledge and did an exceptional job on making sure the entire return and repurchase process was seamless. Turned out, the $1.75 that was needed came from 1x missing 8pk Kleenex On-the-Go 3-Ply Facial Tissue ($2.89 each). YAY lol, we figured it all out and at the end of the day, I was able to receive the $15x2=$30 (in all) Target Gift Cards with an additional $18 savings from the P&G manufacturers coupon!!! I want to highly recommend that Vince, Melvin and Lizzy who cordially assisted me through my entire shopping experience today a promotion, raise and or bonus/commission; thank you so much for making this a wonderful start to a very Happy New Year in 2025!!! read more

I go to target a lot and usually enjoy shopping there, doing self-check out most of the times and perhaps lead to the cashier when there's no one in line. However when I went today, I was lead to the cashier once again. I decided to pay some in cash and some in card. I gave the $30 and wanted to pay the rest with my card, the cashier told me to use my card before she put in the $30 cash and I was confused but paid anyways. Until I realized that I paid the $30 in card and told her that but she couldn't seem to understand, and continued to tell me that I had to use another card to pay the rest because she had already put the $30 in cash. It took so long for her to finally realize that the $30 was paid by my card instead of the cash and it pissed me off. Please make sure that your workers know how to listen and communicate better. The other workers that I've talked to before were usually more helpful and kind, this is just a rare case, but it did ruin my day and waste my time. read more

Came in just to check if they have it in the back because it's says in their website they have it but, when I looked it's not in the floor that time. Can't order for pick up either. The first associate I asked said I don't work in beauty even she was putting stuff in the shelf next to beauty ( k understood) I waited for the beauty person to arrive, 10mins passed I was about to walk away felt like no one is coming anyways. The beauty person arrived whom I assumed a TL, was approached by the associate I asked earlier. I heard this Asian TL said right away, "what does she want?, " all the face brushes are all in the back wall" when she was about to walk again I approached her and said I'm looking for a specific face brush and about to show it thru my phone in the Target app. But, instead she just said " all our face brushes are in that wall, if it's not there means we don't have it, we don't audit everyday u know", with out checking using her device at all, she turned her back to me and walked away. read more

Love this target! It's much bigger and newer than the older Target on Amador Valley. It's in a shopping center so sometimes parking can get tough but for the most part I always find what I need and usually when I browse online stuff this target carries it and the older Amador Valley one does not. It's a bit of a further drive but still worth it because there's so many things nearby. read more

Tried calling them to get a price on an item that was on display that didn't have a tag because I actually wanted to purchase it. The guest service person answered and told me they were going to go look at the item and put me on hold. I guess they never came back to the phone because I fell asleep and seems like I was on hold for 57 minutes....lol anyways, can customers purchase the displays ? I came here last week for a few cleaning items and a pair of new PJs. The stores inventory is decent and close to where I live which is the only reason I shop at this location. This review is specifically about the service I received. Last week the cashier checking my friend and I out seemed absolutely miserable to be there. First we said hello and she was ignoring us, clearly. She then asked us to take all of our clothes off the hangers.. which was strange. There was no one else in line. But hey, we weren't too mad about that. I've just never had a cashier ask me to do that. I also asked for no bags.. but she continued to place my items in a bag. She didn't change me for the bags, but I just wanted to avoid the waste. At this point I didn't say anything becase if looks could kill.... She somehow managed to tell us to have a great day with her miserable expression, but it was clear that she wanted to be anywhere but there. I understand a bad day, but this woman felt like a dark rain cloud. read more

So tired of watching security guards profile customers! As I was leaving today (12/26/22), I watched the bald security guy (Asian) make a beeline to the exit to stop an older Black man as he exited with a bag and a shopping cart with a large item (maybe baby furniture). The security asked the customer for his receipt, which the customer provided while asking "am I the only customer you felt the need to stop and check?" The security responded "yup" while handing the receipt back to the customer. He then eye balled me as I slowed down to observe (no bags in hand). I shop at Target several times a month, in various cities, and I have NEVER seen security stop anyone and ask for a receipt. Blatant discrimination, and if I were that customer I would filed paperwork with management to document the incident. Do better! This store is small, always empty, and the customer service is terrible. read more

We went to this target in March 2021 during Covid. Most of the shelves were stocked although I did notice a few had a missing items. I was also happily surprised to see that the Pizza Hut inside the store is now open and you can order food to go. The bathrooms were also open. read more

Continues to disappoint. Difficult to find items and customer service is negligible. Prices are also not easy to locate as there is a dearth of price tags and the price finder dood-dads. Besides, who wants to shlep an item to a price finder then shlep it back. When staff could be located, they were helpful but taxed. I went to pickup an item I ordered online and there was one customer service line. So I waited. And was told that I had to wait in the pickup line but there was no one at the desk. So another wait. The stars are mostly for Target overall, their product inventory and quick delivery. This store however needs improvements, especially during COVID operational time. This is specifically for the lady at the Return/Order pick up counter (Sept 25, afternoon). She had no mask, her customer service wasn't great but also when we gave her the "Pick up barcode" on the phone, she actually grabbed my phone to scan it... which is weird. Covid is a contact virus, can you please keep that in mind when you grab customer phones? She wore the same gloves for all transactions. My barcode was big enough for her to just pull up her scanner and scan it, instead she grabbed my phone in her hands. If you are behind a counter, how to scan a barcode without pulling a customer's phone (and without asking them) is a no brainer but seems like Target needs to train their staff on this. read more

No where in the department is anyone to be found any time I've been to this store. I usually have to flag someone down, who isn't familiar with the department, wait 30 mins to be told they don't have the item, even though the website says it's in stock. This Target store is great for an essentials run. It's close enough to my place to walk or bicycle. It's always well kept inside, as in clean and not messy or cluttered. It is also not too crowded compared to other Target locations which is awesome. I went on a Sunday late afternoon and not congested. I think this location is newer compared to some other ones so it feels more updated. They do a nice job at this location. read more

the first thing you notice about the store is how fresh and clean everything seems when you first walk in. Many department stores especially during the holiday season have so many people come in and out it's probably hard to have to keep the place pretty clean. But this Target location does not have that problem. Everything is really cleaning when you first walk in the door you feel really comfortable about spending your hard earned money I love buying a baby gel that they have here at this location. I do not like to put adult jail in my baby's hair because my baby is only 2 years old. But the baby gel that they provide at this location is perfect for my daughter's texture so I'm glad I'm always able to find it at this location read more

I've never been a fan of Wal-Mart. They are taking over the world and while the same could be said about Target, at least they are able to do it with some dignity. Cleaner, more organized, and friendlier and more efficient staff. This is another location in another strip mall that are pretty much taking over the country, but hey if you need to do your shopping and a place that price matches, then this would be it! A pretty decent sized location where pretty much everything is easy to find. I don't agree with everything Target stands for, but at least they make my life a bit easier when I need to get a few supplies. read more

I have shopped at several in the Bay Area- but this is the only Target I have been to in which everyone was friendly and no one treated me like I was a nuisance when I had a question. My checker was personable and chatty and super nice- so I have to say, I will try to arrange my shopping to shop here. The store is clean, well laid out, well stocked. I found the signage to be good and the grocery section was clean- and there weren't any out of date foods. The parking lot is large. Though people do go a bit fast through the parking lot- so do be careful of the bad drivers,but aside from that (and that is not under Target's control), this place is great. read more

I haven't shopped here in a few years since this type of thing was a regular occurrence. After reading the store got sued and the problem was now over, I decided to try my luck again...we'll the jokes me on for giving them a second chance! To make matters worse, I tell the young man helping me, the price was incorrect, he says...it's to late for me to fix it now, you'll have to wait in that line...and points to the "refunds" counter. He said, we'll if you'd noticed before you paid, I could have just marked it down...to late now, shrugs his shoulders and said I can't help you. There were about six people in the "refund - return" line, I got in it and after a few mins, with no movement I left. The only reason I bought two of the Amy's meals is because they were reasonably priced. Lesson learned, this place still lists one price yet charges more! If this were the last Target store in California I still wouldn't stop here again! Buyers beware! read more

Target is a store that we all love to hate...or love....depending on the time of day. This location gives me those feelings every time I show up. Pros: Parking early in the day Service is always on point and there is an employee in most departments to help a customer out Customer service is a quick step to the left when you arrive to help with returns Cons: They don't seem to have the same cooked foods as other targets. I like to grab a snack while I shop! Dollar+ section is smaller than others Parking at lunch or after work hours Overall, this Target is a nice place to get all of your staple items for the house- food, electronics, workout clothes (if you really want to do that) and other gadgets for the house. Didn't communicate when they tried to open the door (3 or 4 times aggressively), tossed my products in the backseat, and slammed my door.
