Sean is A+! He and James hung 3 light fixtures in my home and they did a fantastic job. Beyond what I could have hoped for. No holes in the drywall and they took the time to do the job 'right' they were artists when it came to hanging the fixtures so they matched the photo on the brochure. There were a few scuffs on the fixture from the manufacturer and Sean got out a Sharpie to cover them up! They even took the time to wipe down the fixture and the glass bulbs to make sure there were no fingerprints or dust. I'm telling you... I was blown away. Wow words can not express how terrible this business and their practices are! After writing my first review Sean calls my husband and threatens to sue us if we didn't take our review down! Normally one apologizes if things go wrong. Doesn't surprise me that you did this after lying to us about our main breaker being broken and trying to swindle us out of our money! Unable to come to an agreement. The job that was requested was not focused on and there was an exorbitant cost involved in upgrading which had no bearing on the issue at hand. After partial work was completed as per the paid estimate. Another estimate was going to have to be made to fix the problem of flickering lights and lights brightening after appliances were used. Target Electric was asked to finish up and remove himself from my house. It is my understanding that a person with 16yrs. experience would have the knowledge to take care of the cause or at least give the possible cause and solution without having to give multiple estimates. To clarify the last review of cost. The cost are not $600/hr. What was meant to be said is the cost felt was at rate of $600/hr for approx. 5hrs. of work. Sean is my go to electrician. We bought a fixer upper a year ago and one of the things they didn't fix was the electric. He and his team quickly spotted the problems we need to tackle. The other electricians and companies we interviewed only wanted to charge money without an understanding of the problems. Most important was the wiring to the oven was less than it should be creating the possibility of a fire hazard (not sure how to explain it in electrician terms). I'm very happy with all of my home's new ceiling fixtures. Sean helped me select just the right fixtures to modernize the look of my home. Steve was very knowledgeable about the proper placement of the lighting to get the best results. Ceiling patching was necessary since some existing fixtures were relocated, and Steve was able to do this so I can't even tell where the holes once were. Bottom line is that Sean at target electric is polite, prompt, honest, and hard working. All in all, awesome!!! They provide a very competitive price (often lower than many other electricians in the area). Sean is super knowledgeable and explains the details of what he is doing along with providing options and cost effective alternatives. So far he has installed two ceiling fans in our house. One of those ended up being pretty complicated and he came back the next morning (unprompted) to further secure the ceiling fan and give us peace of mind that it would not fall down. Quite simply, Sean is the go-to guy. We needed to re-permit an electrical panel upgrade from 10 years ago. Apparently the previous electrician didn't even ground the house from the street to the panel and the new building inspector insisted we install two 8'-0" copper grounds rods into the ground -- a tough job in our rocky Tierrasanta soil. We got 5 bids and Sean was our favorite -- not the cheapest, but not nearly the most expensive either. We learned later on the hard way that you get what you pay for.... We tried the cheapest bid -- the electrician couldn't get the rod even 4 feet into the ground, stopped, and wanted us to pay him. Seriously???? I used Target Electrics services a few months ago as a result of a coupon I purchased through Angies List. I Purchased approximately eleven (11) LED lights and a new dimmer switch which I needed installed. Since the lights were entire canister units and two of them were in a ceiling approximately 25-30 feet high I felt it necessary to get an electrician with the proper ladder to install everything. The work was completed within the coupon time so additional charges were not needed. The Electrician who did the work was quick, very knowledgeable and very professional. If I have a need for other work that requires an Electrician I would definitely consider hiring them again. I was very pleased with the work they performed. read more

Called in regards to an outlet not working and a outlet that needs screwed into the wall. Fist thing they advised was that there is a service call of $365.00 for all calls. I have never heard of a service call that high. After speaking with them about what if its just to replace a GFCI outlet. They then said they may go down to $185.00. At this point it seems to shady to do business with a company like this. I would not recommend this business. read more
