This Target is located at the north end of Lakewwod Center, which shares the parking lot with surrounding stores. I found the store to be clean and staff friendly, if you need to make returns there located in the front of the store to the left, also easy to do. Some items may not be available as restocking may be limited. I would definitely visit this Target again, on the plus side there is a Starbucks located inside. read more

While this Target has everything you might need , Grocery food items , household cleaning items , furniture, towels , mens , womens kids clothes and shoes , makeup , lawn furniture you get the idea... My main problem was how clutter and dirty everything was. I mean it looked like zombies had raided the place. Maybe I'm just a ridiculous tourist but I can't believe nobody has posted pictures of the cart escalator, ha! By far the coolest thing about this Target is that it's two story and has an escalator just for carts. I didn't even need anything from upstairs but I had to give that a whirl. I just left the store happier than when I came in and not for what I bought. The experience was average. It's what I expected. No employees asking for what I was looking for or if I needed any help. It was easy to find my way around, as well. But what really put me 'over the moon' was the customer service from Jennifer, who was manning the cashier as I was getting my single product rung up. She greeted me with care. She also took the initiative to price check online to find if the product was cheaper. It was, and she saved me 5 bucks. I greatly enjoy this two story target. Not only because of the layout but since it is located in Lakewood mall plaza, I can get all my shopping needs done at one location. The store is well organized and stocked with my necessary items. The bathrooms are kept pretty clean in comparison to other targets I have been to. Walked into this Target location only to be knocked over by a terrible stench right inside the doorway area of where you enter the store. It absolutely reeked of urine! Made my way through the store and found what I was looking for. Headed to the checkout lines and saw where the self checkout lines were very long. I went to a checkout line (I believe number 4) and the lady was very nice and helpful. I live between this target in Lakewood and Cerritos. From the start, it was unpleasant. You could feel how negative it was as well. I couldn't believe how rude everyone was. The store is so unorganized I couldn't do any of my shopping with the usual flow I get at other locations. I wanted to go upstairs to look for a new hoodie but I was so burned out from my experience I couldn't wait to get out of here. The self check out lady even goes "ughhhhh!!!" Sorry I said no thanks to self checkout. The register lady was as miserable. It was just bizarre. They also need clearer signs telling shoppers where to wait before falling into line. Just a mess. It always feels like something will go wrong at this Target, but today was the last straw. I headed inside, and picked up what I was there for, then swung by the meat section to see if there were any good deals on. There was one for ground beef, regular price about $8, on sale for $3.65! Thought "hooray" to myself, and grabbed the 4 packs left and headed to checkout. I'd like to point out that as mentioned in other reviews, there was a lot of empty spaces on the shelves, so when I saw the sale price and there was still stock left, I legit thought it was my lucky day. Anyways, I get to checkout and the cashier starts ringing up my items. The ground beef rings up at the regular price, so I point out it's supposed to be on sale. She goes to check with her manager, who heads over to the section to double check. He comes back and says...."Nope. It's for the 85% lean ground beef. You have the 90% lean. We can honor the sale price for 1." Well.....you can probably see where this is going now. I tell him it's not my problem the items were in the wrong spot, and that he should simply honor the price. He says no, again. It's for a different item. Oh! Keep in mind, it's from the same company. And he STILL won't honor the price. So yep. Very unimpressed. Been here a handful of times, and won't be back. Too many issues happen at this location. read more

Well today I found a gift for my son...a just for nothing gift no special reason. As I walked the whole store I noticed a very nice display that caught my eye. They had a new German shaver brsnd name is HARRY and supplies. I thought my son would love this, so I bought him the Navy...they also had neon orange and dark green. The handles are pure rubber non slip very stylelish, nice and well made, hey it's German I love their cars so why not. I also got him the Harry shave cream and after shave face balm by Harry that is the new brand. Funny it just hit me a shaver called Harry....good name...HAIRY... lol read more

I come to this target every week I have a target problem! Last week, I found a candle that I wanted, but a well behaved kid decided to stick their toy in it and make a hole in the wax. It was the last candle so I decided to take it & ask an employee if there are more in the back. At the register, Jax was helping me out. She was so kind, personable, and patient. I asked her if there were any more candles in stock. She checked and let me know that there weren't any but proceeded to say, "it's up to you but if you'd like to buy this one I can take 10% off because it's obvious that it's damaged". I thought it was sweet of her to go above & beyond to try & make sure I was happy. She didn't just say no and keep it moving. I bought the damaged candle. I'll deff be back soon to buy more things that I don't actually need & I can't wait! read more

Not my favorite Target. Always so many people just chilling and blocking the aisles. Makes having a cart hard to maneuver. Ugh. They tend to not have common products in stock, and the store itself is pretty messy. Parking is also a nightmare... Maybe 'cuz it's part of a mall, but yeah, this location sucks. This Target is two stories high. So it can be a bit confusing to find some items and even the escalator. But it was a bit of a mess going inside. The layout was nice but confusing to find certain items. If I could give 0 stars I would. I did an online same day order through target. Got an email saying the shipt driver cancelled the order. The. Got a message saying a new shipt driver will deliver my order she texted me confirmed everything I had on my list she said when it was time to check out she got a error and target told her there was a Nintendo switch placed on my order ?! I never ordered a Nintendo switch I double checked my email confirmation when I first placed my order and made sure I didn't accidentally add anything, which I was correct. So basically the shipt driver stole a Nintendo switch and charged my card for it. I called shipt they did nothing I drove to target talked to some manager named Jose in guest services who told me to call shipt and gave me a number to guest relations. Neither shipt or target is taking accountability for this! And I still never received my actual order I placed to top it if not a refund. I'm so frustrated I will be reporting this issue to corporate and the better business bureau because I have my actual order email confirmation receipt the text messages whit the shipt driver and the chat conversation with the target chat rep! read more

I usually go to it because it's close by where I live everytime I come here it's messy and they always have one cashier while they have other workers just walking around. I started getting pick up after this just for two things and it's been 7 hours and my stuff still hasn't been ready, I called the store twice because I needed it for the day and both times I called they hung up, this store has no professionalism and needs to pick up their slack. read more

Good card collectible section..floor staff knowledgeable and able to direct me to the correct location to find my items. The staff was also very friendly. Prices are high..dont expect to come here and leave without paying 3 times what you normally pay anywhere else .. I saw someone in a self checkout buy 5 items and paid $45..geez! Parking lot is huge but a mess. The location is a good one..convenient to the mall and restaurants so you couldn't have chosen a perfect spot. The atmosphere is dead..its not bright and up beat..maybe after Thanksgiving when the holiday music is player everywhere but tonight it was Dead. I decided to stop here to run some quick errands but was very disappointed with how things were run. The lanes were way too long, there was only one or two registers open for a slew of people. What was meant to be a short trip ended up taking nearly an hour mostly waiting to check out due to how little workers there were available on the floor. Store closes in an hour so we had to cancel the online order and rush down there and try to get what we needed for our trip out of town tomorrow. Travel bag. I hope they honor the online price. This 2-story location has more apparel, home goods and decors compare to other Target within the vicinity. I used to go to this one regularly but haven't been in a while. But today I did. I got there at 8:40 pm expecting there to be little to no line, which there was. This used to be my most frequented store but not anymore. I had a terrible experience here about two weeks ago. DON'T EVER USE THEIR PHOTO DEPARTMENT. I submitted an order online and was waiting patiently (website side it would be ready in 2 hours) in their defense I did submit it around 5pm and figured that I probably wouldn't get a response until the next day in the morning. These invitations were time sensitive. Well i waited until the next day and phoned. Was told that their was a hold on my order but it should be ready later on today (i informed the person on the phone that i would be stopping by on my lunch hour to pick up my invites- to my great grandmother's 100th birthday party). She assured me that it should be fine. Fast forward to me walking in expecting to pick up my invitations and they weren't printed. After waiting for awhile to speak to the "manager" i was told that they ran out of paper about 5 days ago and were waiting for it to come. I expressed my displeasure and she stated that "running out of paper was a Kodak problem not a Target one" I asked said manager why i wasn't contacted to let me know and she said there was no way to get a hold of me and that their system doesn't allow access to my phone/e-mail. When i asked her why i was told they would be ready by an employee she just made up excuses. What really pissed me off was the fact that she was trying to blame Kodak for not bringing the paper sooner but it was really a Target problem- if you know you have customers placing orders online then you should be on the phone everyday calling Kodak to see what the hold up is. Also, if my invitations had been ready for pickup i would have had to travel to a different store and purchase envelopes as they aren't included- like Walmart does. So when i brought this to the manager's attention she stated again, "that is a Kodak problem" i told her it was not as Target stocks many different envelope sizes in their Office section but not the one that is needed for invites. I asked for her managers info and the district number and was handed a card. A simple apology would have gone a long way and not placing the blame on someone else. I went into Target this morning just looking for stuff to keep me occupied during this pandemic. An employee who was off duty (African American male I believe his name is Marcus) and a young lady who was working at the self check out line at 8:30 am came into my personal space yelling at me almost put their hands on me. That's when I asked for security to come stand next to me because I was afraid that they were going to jump me. When I the security came over the male employee was like he's not going to do nothing because that's my friend. And that's when the manager (security manager) came out. The manager did nothing and said he will talk to them but I highly doubt that he did. But why have employees threaten customers. This location is okay for going in and grabbing something quick. What I don't like about this location is that they always have staff walking around but I never see anyone straighten up... It's always something on the floors or shelves that are in need of some cleaning. I know it gets messy due to the flow of customers that come through since this location is affixed to the Lakewood mall; STILL... have crew come and tidy up every so often! AND HAVE MORE LINES OPEN... it always seems to be a long line. read more
