I love this target it has a Starbucks inside so bonus points. The store is huge so it is a bit hard to find items. It is really 50 50 at this store you sometimes will get very helpful people or you get people who wish they didn't work there. read more

Aw. I'm sorry, little Target store, but I am going to have to take a few stars away from you. I'm not sure what is going on with this location lately, but for the past few months their grocery section is super, duper understocked and they are always out of what I need. I tend to do a lot of my grocery shopping at Target stores and this one is right on my way home, which is great. But what isn't so great is having to then go up to the Villa Park location immediately after I stop here, because they're missing everything I went there for in the first place. And finding all of the items I want stocked in plentiful quantities at VP. So...not sure why they aren't getting them down at Yorktown, but if you're grocery shopping you may just want to head to Villa Park for awhile. read more

Okay, I'm reviewing this Target, because I'm always impressed with how well it is organized and clean. Also, fast cashiers make me in and out when I'm in a hurry. I have also found, that in the electronics dept., there only seems to be one person working that section, so I've had to search out help from the "red phone." However, when they do assist you they are friendly and helpful. If you're shopping at Yorktown and need some Tide, this is just out the backdoor from the Mall. read more

I usually love target- but this one has given me multiple bad experiences. Today I went in looking for a pair of shorts- and my cart was full of other items per usual- so I went to go and try my shorts on. I go into the fitting rooms, multiple times. The first time the fitting room attendant was lovely- no issues. When I came back there was a different lady, brunette with glasses. I went to try on five things. I put 1 back hung on the rack. Only two of my items had hangers. I left one in the dressing room by accident. My mistake. But this new attendant overreacted to much. Following me away from the fitting room attacking me about where my hangers were telling me I can't not have them on my clothes (that I'm about to buy and don't want the hangers anyways). I agree that I should have taken the hanger with me and not forgotten it on the hanger in the fitting room. But that was a huge over reaction for one hanger. The other times I was in the fitting rooms I didn't leave any. This was just one hanger I left behind by mistake. I planned to keep shopping but after that just wanted to get out of there. I planned to get the thing that didn't work and try on new sizes but there was no way I was going back there! Normally I wouldn't post about it but this isn't he first time I've experienced unnecessary aggression from staff. read more

I live right by the store, and use CVS Pharmacy inside this Target for all of my prescriptions. I have to say, all of the employees are very personable and helpful. The pharmacists and techs are very, very helpful, and even help find provided discounts for my prescriptions. Also, the pharmacists and techs are very friendly, and provide great advice when needed. I, like everyone else, love Target; whether it is to grab supplies for my classroom, a quick lunch for work the next day, something for home, shop for a gift, etc. Unfortunately, like most big retailers, there are certain locations that just don't uphold the standards and values that Target prides itself in. This Target location in Lombard falls short of many other Targets I've visited around the country. I live in Chicago but knowing I was meeting a friend for dinner in Oak Brook on 12/18/18, decided to get pictures sent to the photo center at the Target nearby. I went in and saw a male associate whom I've seen before at the customer service desk and asked where the photo pickup was. He directed me around the corner next to the pick-up line. I was having trouble working the kiosk and went back to ask him how to use it and he simply said, "you press the buttons and enter the online confirmation number." Now, I am an educator and I also like to think I am relatively tech-savvy and have a substantial amount of common sense; however, if you've ever used the Kodak kiosk before, you would know that it isn't the easiest system to navigate so the fact that he answered me with such stupidity was actually insulting. If he himself didn't know how to use it, a trained customer service associate would have either tried to help me figure it out, or called someone who did know how to use it. All this to say, I am still a loyal Target customer because one unhelpful associate won't (usually) turn me away from a store with great products and typically good customer service. read more

I usually dread going to return items at the customer service in Hillside, IL. So, on 12/13/17 I decided to go to the Lombard Target on my lunch break to return and rebuy 2 items that the price had changed on. I couldn't have been happier with my decision. Savi did an outstanding job! She was easy to work with, so accommodating and helped me in every way possible to make the transactions smooth. She never once rushed me or hesitated to check my prices accuracy online once I said Target.com price was cheaper. Savi went above and beyond to make my experience amazing. Because of Savi,I will now only shop at the Lombard Target. She made a Christmas time hassle pleasurable and painless. Which makes me so happy and thankful for wonderful employees like Savi. This is officially my FAVORITE place in the world. I go there everyday, mainly because I live next door. The store is Spotless and they have a portrait studio and a Photo lab in the store. You can actually upload your pics on yahoo.com to Target here and pick them up in store for .20 a print. They have cute, quality items as well as your old standby name brand items for household use!! If you haven't been to a Target in a while stop by!!! BTW, this one is always rather "slow" so it is pleasant to shop at!! They only accept returns or exchanges with receipts so keep that in mind!!! read more

I have always preferred Target over the other "discount stores" out there, such as Walmart, etc. Target seems to have a little bit of better merchandise, better organized, etc. However, I must say that I usually don't think of Target when it comes to fashion - not that I'm a brand snob, but I do like fashionable, well made clothing! Well, I now know why we jokingly refer to Target as Tar-jay(pronunciation), the French discount store - they are starting to carry some awesome things! I could not believe the purse I picked up there recently; a beautiful Rafe hobo bag in a cornflower blue! They are starting to feature some designers who are entering the mass market with some cheaper stuff - how awesome is that? This is one of my favorite targets. They've recently remodeled much of the store, and it's pretty classy looking. It's got a more open floor plan in the home decor section, which is a nice change from the isle after isle typical set up. One complaint? The bathrooms. Still kinda grody, even though they've been redoing the main store floor. Hopefully the bathrooms are next on the remodel list. read more

This Target was super convenient when I was staying at the Westin just across the parking lot. They have a small section of groceries and the rest of the store seemed well stocked and clean. The only disappointment was they didn't sell a bathing suit. I guess it is kinda out of season but where do people purchase bathing suits from October-January? read more

I live so close I can see it from my window.. Target is my go-to store for everything! I do like the remodel and the grocery section, I also like Target's Archer Farms brand stuff... For the techies that downloaed the Target App.. its great to get mobile coupons, and see the deals I can jump on in real time. Its going to sound odd but for some reason this Target is full of attractive women... I'm not some creep but its a plus after all... I do wish they would be more receptive to long lines at checkouts and open them before the lines get so long. They do keep things clean and easy to find here. The staff is not super knowledgable about products but they do try to find out specifics whenever possible. I guess this is the modern equivilent to my corner store. read more

This target is in a great location near the yorktown mall. I frequently shop here due to the outstanding location and convenience but more importantly the employees are always willing to go the extra mile and help out. They do price math which is a plus and the store is open pretty late. read more

Not a bad Target. I'm in here at least once a week because it's so close to my home. This location has groceries, so I can pick up the essentials as the need arises. To get some exercise, I can always walk here, it's so close to my home. On cleaning supplies, I think Target's prices are comparable to WalMart's. Some of the grocery items are a little over priced, but I don't care because of the convenience factor. If I need it, I'm going to buy it. The parking lot can get a little hectic at times since this store always seems to be busy. read more

Team members are always chatting with one another. The pharmacy makes a mistake every month on my Rx. They typically only have 2 or 3 check outs open for customers meaning a long wait time; by the time they open another lane, they pull people from the back of lines to check out faster- Which is BS for the people who have been waiting long. Always a pain in the A$$ to visit here, only visit when I really need something due to the proximity to my home. read more

I frequent this target at least once a day. It is so convenient and for the most part decently stocked. I don't think I can say I've ever had a horribly negative experience, with the exception of one rather odd time. I had gone to target to pick up a bunch of stuff before a trip I was going on. The lady in front of me had also been buying similar items. When I had gotten home I realized I had one of the other shoppers bags, so I immediately called Target. There were two items in the bag, a bag of Lays, and a can of chili sauce. I informed Target of what had happened, I made it clear that if the shopper calls back saying they did not receive the bag, they are telling the truth. The representative explained to me that since I had the bag, the only way the shopper could get her items back is if I brought the items back to the store. I explained that I was going on a trip and I didn't have time for this, and I suggested the store just give the other shopper the chips and the chili sauce. They explained that they couldn't do that, so I took time out of my day to return the total of five dollars of items in the bag. To me, this situation could have been handled in a much better way. I don't think target would have eaten much just to give the other shopper the chips and sauce, and who knows if she would have even come back. I was pretty ticked about this. On a lighter note, I went in the other day to buy storage bins, there was only one of the 30 gallon containers left, and I couldn't find the matching lid. I went to the front desk, and asked if they could find the lid for me, they couldn't find it right away. They went to the back and found one, and brought it up to me, it only took about 5 minutes, and they gave me 25% off my whole purchase. It was very nice of them, and it was unnecessary, I was just happy they got it for me in the first place! Overall I absolutely love this Target, to only have one bad experience in all these years really isn't bad at all. I recommend it to everyone, even if it is a little bit of a further drive. I cannot give this store any stars. I bought my item in Woodridge. I returned it here in Lombard. They accepted the return but wouldn't credit me for the tax I paid. This is robbery. Shame on you Target corporation. I hope they don't cheat the state of Illinois too by not sending in the tax money that they refused to credit me. read more

I go to this location all the time and was very upset after one of my visits. I was returning a pair of shoes and after the woman returning my item was completely rude to me, she did not include the tax I paid for my item. Pretty sure this is illegal. The pharmacy at this target is AWFUL. The staff are rude and unhelpful. I had a prescription sent in on a Friday and they told me they could fill it because their pharmacist was out of town and the medication was on back order. I kindly asked them if they could send it to another pharmacy and they told me no since it was the first prescription the doctor had written me. They told me the pharmacist would be back in town Monday and to call then. So I called Monday afternoon and the pharmacist hadn't even placed an order for the medication yet! I had to inform her that it was on back order. Fast forward to Wednesday. I call to check on the status of my prescription and they staff puts me on hold and hangs up on me. I call back and they tell me they have no idea when the prescription will be ready. While I'm lucky that I'm not going to die without this prescription, it's something that is necessary for me and now I've waited 6 days for it. Do yourself a favor and don't use this pharmacy. read more

This is my go to store for everything. It's around the corner. I probably frequent this place 3x a week. I wish it was a SuperTarget. Anyway, I have to say I'm upset with their customer service. I was charged twice yesterday of a transaction of 102.44. The transactions weren't pending they were processed. When I called the store, They just said, 'my manager said call your bank'. They didn't even look into the situation or ask for my transaction number. So disappointed. I called my bank, they asked if I called the store. I said yes. He said they should have liked into it. But he could file a claim. It would take 90 days to be resolved. 90 days, why couldn't the store just the care of it. I guess what bothers me the most. Is that Target was breached some time ago, thousands of dollars were used out of my account. How lazy can the manager be to not get on the phone. Or ask to come in store to resolve situation. I have been a long time customer of this Target. This rating and review is primarily about my frustration over the years of complaining to management about their under stocking of merchandise. Almost each and every time there is something I'm looking for that is out of stock. From bread to ice cream and most grocery essentials, the store looks as if it's been through a war zone on almost any given day of the week. Management either simply doesn't get it or doesn't care. I try and avoid this target as much as possible but due to its convenience it's impossible to avoid completely. I also think they purposely understaff their store in an effort to save on their bottom line. Either way, it's a poor way to handle their customer base. Next time you are visiting this store, you'll know hat I'm talking about. Maybe if more people complain, somebody in upper management will actually listen. NOT! read more

This target was great. There was plenty of staff cleaning and restocking. It wasn't too crowded. They offer self check out and there was plenty of cashiers available. I addressed one cashier about certain shoes being on clearance except for all the size 11's in the same style as the clearance ones. She was so kind, she adjusted the price and I was able to use my cartwheel! Don't discriminate against big feet target! I love you guys too much read more

Worst Photo customer service ever!! Jinx manager garbage. Recommended a background that they never let us see the result until we left the room. Looked awful and then offered to reschedule us for 5:30pm! We have a baby mind u and it's 11am. Rush rush rush rush! Then the sales rep out in the lobby telling new customers if u don't like the background u can change it IN THE ROOM! Manager then basically laughs at us saying I don't know what he's telling people. "HE" her employee!! She then says we were late HAHA! Um no actually we weren't. Insulting piece of garage and terrible at what she does for a living! STAY AWAY!
