Parking on the rooftop. Quite a bit more variety as a regular sized Target store with the usual aisles of every different department inside. Not particularly busy so not difficult to frequent. Employees are busy restocking shelves but helpful when you need them.

Drive up now on level two of the parking structure.

145 pm on Wed Jan 15. I placed an order for two Good & Gather 1 lb organic veggie trays ($6.49 ea) rather than going to the nearest grocery store near my office in mid Wilshire (Ralph's btw $8.00). Drive up online order was processed very quickly! It took them 10 minutes to push the notification that it's ready. I entered from the alley and found signs and cones that they moved the Drive Up spaces to the upper level parking. I'm waiting about 8 minutes in space #1 and didn't realize that I didn't complete the app check in! I saw the runner and thought to grab the code from the app. FUDGE BAR!!! It's been a while since I've used this app. I forgot to enter the space number. WHAT A PRE-SENIOR MOMENT! So didn't forget to follow through for check in. Luckily, the young man had the two items on board his cart. So, the lady that pulled into space two after I had already arrived got her stuff before me. Thankfully, her order was small too. The runner came back to my car and I had the code ready for him when he handed over the containers of organic veggies with ranch dip. So, as always, best to shop during off peak times. I was out and on my way home in about twelve minutes. I instructed them not to bag the items as I brought my own shopping bag.

Light on and asked the worker if there was someone there and coldly she said no. There's only one register open for returns. Crazy

See my comment on the photo I tried to make a return and at this location it's done at the cash registers. There were two lights on for open registers, and the woman on one of them didn't wanna service me. I was really rude about it so I went to the guy who is great, but if the register isn't open, they should shut off the light. Putting two stars instead of one because the male register guy was really great.

    Cute Easter decor!

Fun Target in the heart of the City! I'm from this neighborhood and seen so many changes since this location used to house an Osh. I finally had the time to drop by for some fresh salad kits for my family dinner on a Saturday morning around 10am. I turned in off of La Brea and found the lower lot so small, there's actually a ramp up to rooftop parking (and, those views of Hollywood, tho)! Take the elevators down to the single level store and walk right up to the impressive Bullseye station right up front. Thanks to inflation, nothing is really a dollar anymore but there are a ton of cute, seasonal décor for $3 and $5. After raiding that, you'll find a grocery section, women's section, kid and baby section, toys, (video) games, gym and home equipment plus some books on the north end of the store. Walking to the south end, there are more seasonal sections, with office supplies and makeup. I paid by the elevators I got off of and note those are all self-pay as more and more "City" Targets tend to have. Great experience and I'm satisfied with the supply. I'll be back!

plenty of parking. Can park on the roof, too

I love these new smaller sized neighborhood Targets and the Mid-City Target is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. This Target is in the space that was previously an Osh Hardware store. It's a long, narrow store. It spans about ¾ of the block between 4th and 8th and La Brea. Walking from end to end will make your Fitbit really happy. There is some street metered parking on La Brea, some free parking on the south side of the store, and ample parking on the top of the store. You can find almost anything you need at this Target, including groceries, and if you can't find it at the store, you can order it and have it held for you at the store. If you like Target, I highly recommend getting a Red Card so you can have things delivered for free if the order is over $35, and you get 5% off each order when you use the Red Card. Can't beat that deal. I even got a $40 coupon when I applied for the Red Card. Not sure if they still have that offer, though. Anyway, this is a nice, clean, well-organized Target. They have ample staff, and they are very helpful. I've used the store pickup service twice and it's easy peasy. This is my favorite Target. Easy five stars.

How do you access the parking garage?

When you pull into the small parking lot off of La Brea, there is a ramp on the backside of the building. Just take it up and the parking is on the roof.

You'll be inspired to switch up your whole decor aesthetic after just one visit! A friend recommended we check them out when we moved into a new house and our beloved couch that we'd literally had for decades... like while we were just dating... was not working in our new space. We needed a custom size and wanted the L shape to create a scenario where our family of four could curl up together and make key memories before the kids head off to college in a few years. We had never designed a couch before but definitely had some thoughts and ideas. The staff were there for it and vibed with us on it over multiple visits, calls, and emails. It was a BIG step for us and they held our hands the whole way. We must have sat on every couch there over the course of 3 visits and in the end, designed with them the PERFECT couch. Everyone was completely lovely. But here's where it gets really good. My husband wanted a low, deep, lounge style but I felt like I needed a little more stucture so we combined the styles of two couches, keeping it low and loungey but adding a second row of cushions so you or a guest can choose if you want to be laid back or more upright. It's the best of wboth worlds and completely flexible for older guests who would be swallowed up in a couch this deep. It's gorgeous... we sat down with them (on that couch!) and plotted it all out, with the L facing the right way in our house to make sense and bring the space to life. Mady hand-sketched it all up right then and there. The delivery team was so nice and lovingly unpacked the whole thing and were so sweet when I had a major brain fog moment and freaked out that they had made a mistake and designed the L facing the WRONG WAY! In quite a panic, I called the shop and reached Noa, who calmly dealt with my extreme freak out. The delivery team patiently waited for the whole thing and consoled me as I shed a few tears. Noa offered to come take a look at it IN MY HOME to assess the situation. A few days later, I'm walking through my home with them (Noa and her mom, the owner!) and we are all chatting about how it actually looks awesome in the orientation that it's in. I still had sworn that I didn't design it that way but agreed that it actually felt like I should have. They were calm, poised, creative, open, and completely invested in making sure their handmade piece felt perfect in my space. They were not aggressive nor accusatory... just there to see how best to resolve the issue, knowing that it was a custom-built piece. And they were lovely humans as well. We talked about art and design, building a business from the ground up, and the challenges with keeping a small business afloat during economic downturns and worldwide pandemics. Months later, I realized that no one made any mistakes and we actually designed it just like this, and it's been my absolute favorite thing in my home ever since. I think about this experience often, and I'm so grateful for their graceful reaction and approach. The couch itself is a standout in the space and sets the tone for the rest of our decor. It's comfortable beyond belief. It's easy to maintain, has held its shape for years now, and is easy to clean. We got it in a cream fabric, so that was a worry, but they taught us how to care for it easily! Not only does it hold our whole family, but a lot more people when the kids have friends over. It has helped shape not only our space from a design perspective but in how we interact within the space and with each other. And we get so many compliments on it. The quality and craftsmanship are unmatched. We couldn't be happier. THANK YOU! But what really stands out is that in this age of faster, cheaper, AI, and automation, this company is a family business of artisans that care deeply for the products they craft and the impact on their customers and clients. They want you to love the pieces you bring home, and they care to work with you until you do. They love art and design, so definitely take their suggestions!! Their pieces show that love and care and offer you a heightened level of quality and comfort. They are well worth the price, and I hope that you will pop your head in the shop and judge for yourself. You may just bring home a new piece that feels like an extension of your own family. You won't regret it!! I recommend them to all my friends and anyone looking for new furniture. They are the BEST!

But when LUIS, one of the family owners, got word and took over... I could not be happier with the outcome. As a business owner I KNOW beyond ALL DOUBT that you CANNOT have a flawless experience every time NO MATTER HOW MUCH YOU WANT IT. The truth of a great business is HOW you handle the bad experiences and make good on your commitment. Not everyone can be made happy but the important part is that you know you did what was right. They DID WHAT WAS RIGHT and THEN SOME MORE and for that they get all the respect and appreciation I can share with another business owner. Short version of the long story IF you are still reading. They sent me a GLORIOUS art piece for my office. It ended up TOO BIG to get down the hall despite all my planning (entirely my fault) so I had to hire a contractor to take a window out, get it through the window and reinstall. That took weeks after delivery. BUT a few weeks later I am sitting on my couch and my friend declares "shit, it's already torn!". Not quite right, it had an unseen seam, hidden in the pleat. Every time you sat on it, it spread and showed the batting. For WEEKS I fought with staff about it being addressed. They offered solutions then retracted them as not being achievable. Each time we discussed one thing the employee ghosted me for weeks. When the owner took over, he accepted no excuses, owned the problem and dealt with the employee. Then he arranges to ENTIRELY REMAKE the couch to an EVEN BETTER OUTCOME (and I am sure at some significant expense). I had to hire a contractor again to get the old one out (my expense agreeably because THAT was my error not theirs), but he covered all the return shipping, REDESIGNED the entire couch to better specs both for my own staure (made it a bit shorter and a bit less deep, NOT and easy redesign for a mid-century piece like this), made the fusion removable to ensure heirloom longevity and the ability to reupholster in the future, gave me a batting/fill upgrade, changed out the leather to an upgrade, AND stayed on top of communication with me the whole time. 100% satisfied and then some. Many thanks guys. In terms of spending money with a company... I would do it again for sure when I am ready.
