Friday, August 14, 2026 I was halfway down Wilshire Blvd when I remembered that my Drive up order was ready for pick up! Ugh... I headed back towards the West Hollywood Target. I needed a replacement bathtub stopper and ordered the silicone OXO stopper as I planned on taking a hot Epsom salt soak. It worked well and did the trick. The stopper also has a little suction cup built in so it can be attached to the fiberglass surround of the shower. This OXO model was $13.99. The hair catching version was $2 more. Drive up was not terribly busy thank goodness! I was put off there in about 10 minutes. read more

We're goin' up, up, up, it's our moment Target - West Hollywood on Santa Monica Blvd and La Brea Ave is on the 2nd level with a shared parking garage for the West Hollywood Gateway shopping mall. Some limited street parking nearby that's metered with a 2 hour time limit. They've got a unique layout with direct access to elevators inside. The outside is currently under renovations, but very much still accessible with tables and chairs outdoors, part of the plaza. Target Starbucks is to the left when you enter. Team members here are personable to a degree and you can find most things you desire in a pinch. They do get shopped pretty hard so I keep that in mind being the closest larger in size Target (the one on Highland is a lot smaller in scale) and most things are under lock and key. I was hoping they'd have a little more variety for frozen goods and groceries especially of the non-dairy and vegan friendly variety but it was pretty similar to others nearby which is disappointing. Haven't been inside in a few year and I will say it feels even cleaner but not the most welcoming overall. Okay prices for the most part, definitely not as many sales items here. read more

Sorry for another negative review. But the service keeps getting worse, and worse. Now, the store keeps blatantly overcharging. 90 percent of times, whenever an item is On Sale, the checkout scanners keep charging full price, totally disregarding the On-Sale price. Buyer, beware! If you see an "On Sale" label, be sure to take a photo - to show it to the cashier. Sadly, that's what I've been doing lately, as the only choice for the "Sale" price to be granted. Shopping at this target has continually been a challenge over the years. They never seem to keep up with stocking items as simple as Office pushpins. Anytime I come to get what I need about 50% of the time they're either out of it or they have to restock. You have to walk around all over the store to actually find somebody to be able to help you too, which is fine if you're going for 10,000 steps a day. read more

This is my favorite location because it's nearby and also has ample parking for free for the first hour. Very clean and well organized and always a cool temperature inside. Big selection on so many items. It's one stop shopping! Quality clothing at a decent price. All other items seem very competitive. My only complaint is the staff. The majority of all of them for the years I've been coming here, barely ever crack a smile and are extremely slow with their service in the checkout lanes. Worst service ever. The workers looked so pissed off or looked like zombies. Especially cashiers. They don't say hi. They never say thank you. Seems like they just don't care. DISCRIMINATION at this location!!! I entered this West Hollywood location at 9:30am. The pharmacy opens at 10am. Did my shopping paid for my purchases and went back to the pharmacy to refill my med. They said 15 min. I walked through few aisles and when my pick up was ready I paid and made my way towards the exit. As I was leaving a security person came out to stop me and ask me for my receipt for the items in my bag. I asked why? She's said no reason but showed her my receipt. She did not stop anyone else to check their receipts. I am immunocompromised and on medication treatment which causes hair loss and was wearing a hat and ppe mask. There is no footage of me stealing as I paid for my purchases at the register so there is no reason to stop me if. You are actually watching me on surveillance cameras. This stop felt targeted and profiled to my appearance and my hat and face mask. This so called employee Genesis should probably learn how to do her job. If she was watching me she should have caught me paying for my purchases and seeing that at no point did I take things off the shelves and place in my bag unpaid for. She basically profiled me from appearance and made a poor judgement call. This was absolutely disgusting behavior from her and in my opinion is a liability as an employee there. read more

DO NOT return items to this target, you'll get half of what you paid for. This was meant for a gift but due to unfortunate circumstances, it was never given. Going back to return it, everything was fine, they scanned it and told me it would be returned to my account. I went to buy another item and while in line checking my account, I noticed only $50 was returned out of the $100 (not including tax). I went back to ask why and they basically said sorry you didn't buy it from this store so we can't help you. They had no issues with it not being from the store in the beginning, why couldn't they just return the actual price of it. I even showed them the price online, on clearance it's still $85! They suggested I go to the store I bought it from but I don't even have the item anymore, they just stole half of what I paid for. I guess although upset, I'd understand if they said because you don't have the receipt or it's not from this store, we can't give you the total amount. Fine. But they didn't even have an explanation why they only gave me $50 out of the full price. read more

I have had 3 different drive-up experiences here and they were all abysmal. Mostly because every single employee who has handed me my order (three different people, three different times) had completely ignored the instructions for where to place it, AND all three of them were extremely unfriendly and rude. Didnt say anything to me, even when I said hello and goodbye. No pleasantries. Just looked at me, basically threw it at me, and left. Sullen look on their faces. I've done drive-up at a few Targets and I only go here if there's something i can't get at other locations (like today, March 2025)....pretty much every other Target I've been to the employees have been normal and nice. This target is one of the larger stores in LA. It's so spacious and bright inside, well organized department side and grocery session, carrying variety choices. Though some shacks are near empty and the cashier lines were only opened for a few, so it took a while to check out. The attached parking garage offers one hour free parking. read more

we love it when mom and dad takes us on target trips. This target is super dog friendly, they never mind when we ride along inside the cart and we always get compliments from other shoppers. They have a large aisle full of dog goodies from healthy daily eats to yummy treats. our favorite is what's hidden inside the refrigerator. Such a large section of fresh dog food!!!! Oh, and we can't forget about the extra large rawhide bone. read more

They have a creepy cool covered parking lot which they do time you or you will be charged a parking fee. The street parking in this area is extremely limited. We stopped by to purchase some dog accessories which other stores did not have or carry but this store had an abundance of stock. It was a rainy day before Christmas and it wasn't busy at all, in and out in no time. read more

Good lord. Someone needs to get the cashier, Kecia, here a Red Bull or something because I have quite literally never had a slower checker in my life. I've worked customer service at GAP and coffee shops for years and I have never in my life seen less urgency. This person should be trained or fired. Moving at a snails pace as 15 people line up behind the register and there's someone actively tweaking and drenched in the smell of piss in line really made for a less than positive experience at this target. Allow alcohol at self checkout so we don't have to deal with people who shouldn't be doing the job they're doing, or hire better people. Ridiculous. read more

They've started putting a giant number of items behind locked cases. You have to wait for somebody to come and unlock and they hover over you while you choose. I feel bad for the poor people who have to spend all day bending over because the locks are right at floor level. It's insane. Plus, it seems very arbitrary what's locked up and what isn't. The giant laundry detergents and boxes of toothpaste are locked up, but none of the tiny makeup is. How does that make sense? On a Friday at 6 PM they had TWO REGISTERS OPEN. What should've been a 15-minute trip to Target took 45 minutes. If they keep the cases for much longer, I'm never coming back. I hope they don't do this at all of their LA locations. read more

This 5-star update goes to the workers who handled a waste of a human during my visit the other day at the customer service area. Things right now are uncertain, but everyone working here couldn't have been more considerate and friendly. While we are able to still be out and about (by choice), things will continue as is. However, some people just like to be infections to society, specifically this rude person-best way to describe her would be me simply saying 'she is everything that is wrong with this country'-butting her way up to slam some items on a counter saying, "this stuff needs to be put on hold for about 10 minutes I don't have the time for this someone is waiting for me and someone else will be here to pick this up." Imagine this run-on sentence being spoken with a demanding/condescending tone, take your pick. The guy at the register-who was still helping a customer-just looked at this thing as she dumped her things onto his space. The only thing he asked was, "May I have the name of the person coming in to pick this up?" This was done respectfully and it's obvious he was asking just so he would be aware who the staff had to address when/IF the products were picked up. This pathetic excuse of a living organism turned and sighed, and her answer? 'Oh, you'll know, she'll tell you', as she rushed off to do SO much more important things. Yes, it makes about as much sense hearing it as I just typed it out. Sometimes there are assholes such as her, but this man handled it like a champ. I was sucking in my breath myself as this privileged female tried to pretend she was the only one dealing with the crisis surrounding everyone. It's not all about you, sweetie. Man if I were him, I most likely would be out of a job right now. I think his name was Daniel. There was also another girl who actually helped me that was great, and between these two, they're just trying to get through their day. I have tried calling this store on and off, over 15 times throughout the day. No one answers. Each time I call and select a different department (ie. Electronics, apparel, customer service), trying to get ANYONE on the phone to help or redirect me and, so far, not ONE time has anyone answered the phone, in ANY department. It rings for about 2-3 minutes and then finally hangs up on me. I am in disbelief. I called 2 other Target's today and customer service answered on the first ring.... What is going on at this store?! I ordered three baby items at 8:49 PM last night, and I went to the store at 8:30 this morning to pick up my items, Jackie, the representative, told me that the order was canceled. I didn't get any notice. And there was no reason why it was canceled. I spoke with the manager, Tamayo, while she was exceptional as a manager, she couldn't understand why it was canceled either. She went and retrieved the items for me. She gave me the number for corporate, which I did complain, and spoke with a gentleman. All he would do is open a ticket for me to research it. I don't recommend target. What's the sense of having an online order when you go to pick it up and it's not there? I called the corporate office and no one has called me back. read more

11/04/2018 This is my most recent visit. It's on the busiest corner along with restaurants. This is upstairs with parking included. You just have to pull a ticket. It's now one of those receipt thin papers that would dissolve when wet or darken under sunlight. You just have to protect the barcode to scan so you could get out. After that, toss it in a trash can, not on the street. It's also before all of the holiday shopping so it's still clean and organized right now. Seems like everything is stocked well and easy to find. Unless you are like me going up and down every sing aisle. This always happen, I came in here for one thing. Even better, I came here last night just to keep my friend company. I came out with arm full of items and about $50 lighter in my pocket. At least this location has white plastic clothes hangars as the one by me had every single color but white. Has that happened to you when all you want is just one thing? read more

We had the terrible pleasure of having to deal with Josue today at self checkout. My girlfriend and I had about 6 small items. So we went to self checkout. We had 2 items that were a different price on the Target ap. So we asked the employee at self-checkout for assistance with price matching. This employee happened to be Josue. When we asked him, he said he could not do that because the price online is separate from in-store. We even pointed to the sign posted at the register that mentioned the price match policy and let him know that we never had this issue before. And the price match policy is even listed online. He of course made everything up he could, to not do his job by saying "Oh my manager just told me that that policy was removed" we still argued and he said "Oh well if the price is different at this Target compared to online or at another Target, there's nothing we can do". We still argued and said if that were true, the policy would not be posted at the register. Josue scratched his head and looked around and started sweating, because clearly he just didnt want to do his job. And he said "Ok, I will make an exception and price match this time, but no other Target will do this", like he was doing us a favor or cutting us a deal. He price matched 1 item and then walked away. When we let him know there was 1 more item, he pretended like he didnt hear anything. So we went back to him and let him know there was 1 more item, he said again like earlier when he lied "Oh if it's that price on the ap or another Target, there's nothing I can do". So which one is it? The store policy? Or the policy you made up Josue? I would like to also add, that we were the only people at self checkout. Typically if it's busy, we understand and won't ask for an employee to price match. And to put it into perspective, the items we wanted to price match were $8.50 in store but $5 on the Target ap and the 2nd item was about $7 less on the target ap, so it didnt make sense that the items were market up 40% in store. If it was for .50 cents we wouldn't have cared. But we felt that major price difference of $3.50 plus $7 was worth price matching. And the fact that we were the only customers at self checkout. There was nobody else for Josue to help, made us feel he clearly just didnt want to be helpful or try at all. He really just did not have a sense of care in his body and seemed like we were inconveniencing him. Anyway, 5 stars for all the other helpful employees that work at this location. It is kind of annoying that we have to wait 10-15 minutes for an employee to come and unlock the cases for some items. But we understand that theft is crazy in modern day, so it makes sense. I'm still happy that employees still come and assist us. So 5 stars for those employees who do their jobs and are helpful. But 1 star for Walmart quality Josue. If I could give him -5 stars, I would. If an employee were a Karen, it would be Josue. read more
