On 12/24/25, I stopped at one of your Target locations at 15850 S. 94th Ave Oralnd Park, IL 60642 to purchase a 12-pack of soda shortly before closing. There were approximately 10 minutes remaining before the posted closing time. I attempted to enter the store through one entrance and was stopped by a female employee who told me the store was closed and would not allow me to enter, despite the remaining time and my explanation that I intended to quickly purchase one item using self-checkout. I then walked to another entrance, where I was allowed to enter, completed my purchase without issue, and exited the store. As I exited through the door near the same employee who had previously denied entry, I made a lighthearted comment ("Hey, hey, looky here"). The employee repeated the comment back to me and then made an inappropriate gesture by flipping me off. I was surprised and disappointed by this interaction. While I understand the challenges employees face near closing time, the gesture and overall conduct were unprofessional and not reflective of the customer service standards I expect from Target. read more

I am frequently picking up items at the Orland Park Target store. Prices are sometimes better than Amazon and I can get 2 hr or less in order pick up. Great personalized and organized greeting card finds, sometimes with friendly help to check even more stock! More modern kitchen items at reasonable prices without sorting thru so much stock. Target needs to improve how they handle the distribution of popular items to avoid situations like the one I experienced today. I arrived at Target around 10 AM, hoping for a restock of Pokémon cards. I calmly waited near the shelves, browsing on my phone and occasionally wandering through the bathing suit section. As time passed, more people showed up and started blocking the aisles. An employee informed them that if they were waiting for the cards, they needed to stay clear of the path. They spread out for a bit, but as more people arrived, they again clogged the aisles. By noon, after waiting for two hours, the same employee told the group that if they weren't doing other shopping, they needed to wait by the front door. Since I was doing some shopping, I stayed in the clothing section. I noticed a few men occasionally staring at me--I was the only woman there. One man walked by talking on his phone and threatened to "throw elbows" if anyone got in his way. I wasn't about to fight over cards, so I kept my distance from him. The men who where staring at me earlier began to move back to the shelf-stocking area and make a "wall" using carts blocking me from the stocking area. What they were doing caused other people to leave the door area and wait near the stocking area. The employee came back and told them to return to the door, and that if the vendor didn't show up by 1 PM, they would have to leave. Most of the group complied, but a 2 males stayed. Not long after, the two men who kept staring at me started yelling at me from the accross the store to get to the back of the line. I explained that 1) I was shopping, and 2) I had been there the longest. I want to point out that these men never yelled at the other two men who were waiting in the clothing department. It was just me. To avoid further conflict, I moved further into the clothing section. Then, Tony, an employee, told me that when I finished shopping, I would need to go to the back of the line if I wanted Pokémon cards. When I arrived, there was no "line policy," and when they later implemented one, they said it only applied to those who weren't shopping. It felt like I was being penalized for following their unclear instructions. Tony lied and said that they don't know the vendors schedule, but yet an employee who was restocking clothes said that these same group of men are always here every Friday waiting for the vendor. So Tony knows that the vendor comes on Friday and they know that these group of men are causing issues. I put my clothes down and stood in line, where the a guy made comments like, "If I don't get this or that, I'm going to start a fight." I didn't feel safe but I didn't want to give them the satisfaction of chasing me out. Another employee came by and told everyone we were limited to two items each. When the vendor showed up at 2 PM, I was behind several people who had arrived after me. The vendor was friendly and tried his best to make sure everyone got something. An employee was helping distributing items, but even though we were told the limit was two items, some people had four or more. We were also told to check out at register 1, but when I pointed out that one guy had six items, he quickly walked toward the self-checkout. The employee didn't bother to stop him. It felt like I was being singled out by the employees because a group of men wanted to cause a scense and chase me out of getting something they wanted. The whole experience was stressful, and I didn't feel safe due to the comments made by some of the men and the way I was treated compared to others. The whole situation was poorly handled read more

DO NOT COME TO THIS TARGET. Unless you want to wait in line for 35 minutes. This was ridiculous. I was in one of the 3 check out lines open on a BUSY Saturday afternoon, and the manager had the nerve to walk by the cashier I had and critiqued her for not asking me if I had Target Circle #. For those who have a Target circle account they know to do that themselves once they pay.... Instead of criticizing your workers for something so small go open up another check out line!!! I did the curbside. I arrived and after waiting 19 minutes I finally got my order. During this 19 minutes I saw at least 5-6 cars pull in and get their food and leave. After I got home i discovered my Ranch party dip for $5.79 was missing. After 4 attempts to reach someone by phone , they finally answered. They told me I could come back for my dip!! Are you kidding me??? And wait another 19 minutes and waste my time and gas??? I'll have to rethink shopping at Target. Their resolution is a refund or go back to the store. This is a nice Target store, and we are glad it is one that survived the cutbacks. We hope this one stays here. They have a nice general selection of the usual stuff you would expect to find at a Target. The store floor can get messy at times, but that usually means the customers are messier faster than the store personnel can clean it up (think Walmart). The store seems staffed correctly and they were helpful, a nice combination. The store is big and the layout is spacious. All in all I would say this is one of the better general merchandise stores in the area. The CVS pharmacy inside the store is a nice convenience also. read more

This is usually my go to target but I won't be back to this location after today- and strongly considering using Amazon, Ross, Burlington or walmart for some of my needs instead. I used the self checkout line to purchase several items, as many of us do, I spend hundreds in target each month. One of the items was an electronic item and upon leaving I noticed the security tag still on it. Decided to take it to CS to have it removed rather than going back to electronics. First of all the CS line is always ridiculously long as there is always ONE team member man handling this desk, but ok whatever- so I wait. There was a young white lady in front of me. When she approached the counter she asked for a pair of scissors for her sun glasses. The team member said "sure" and gave her the scissors without hesitation. He then motioned for me to step up. I stated hello I just came from self checkout (I still had all of my bags in my hands) and noticed the security tag still intact are you able to remove this? He said sure do you have your receipt, I was hesitant but like ok yes and gave it to him. I asked him if he had asked the other young lady for her receipt and he sort of laughed nervously, but it was a serious question. I knew he hadn't. He reviewed my receipt Extensively and finally removed the security tag. I was so disgusted by the transaction I went to my car put my items up, and came back into the store to make a complaint. I'm sure this is NOT what target advertises when they talk about DEI initiatives but I assume it looks good on paper to talk about it but not actively participate in it. read more

What did I find one day hiding on the shelf in the beverage area, was diet Snapple Trop*A*Rocka blend tea crafted by Bret Michaels. I saw that and laughed my ass of, because when I think of Snapple I think of Bret Michaels. I then decided to buy it, because Brett Michaels makes great tea. No seriously this low calorie diet Snapple Bret's Blend Tea Trop*A*Rocka crafted by Bret Michaels is great! Who knew? I do now. Thank you Target for carrying it. This review is for the CVS pharmacy in the store, I was on time for my 4 PM appointment to get the booster shot scheduled today, and there was only 1 girl working there that could be seen, and upon arrival not even at the counter, and other customers picked up just like that show up after me as sitting done, and only one asked if we were waiting for a pick up. But this can be a good way to be either back up with or losing customers were only 1 person that can be seen, and not right away. read more

I recently bought 2 packs of pork chops from Target in Orland Park approximately Dec. 19th , as I was frying them I noticed they had a different smell as in wild Boa Hog smell, I am well versed in being able to determine the difference in wild pork from regular pork, I strongly suggest you get in touch with your meat supplier and find out if they are substituting your meat supply! I have to write about the pick up messed up items . I do Target pick up weekly drive by. One time on December 22nd , 2022 the Woolite laundry detergent was packed half of the bottle. Next day SunnyD orange drink the whole box was kinda ripped but I ignored it ... I opened it at home I saw 2 bottles open and some it was used already . Yes, that SunnyD I get for my kids . Are you out of your mind to do it???? Do you people check what you pack for the customers??? I will go after you . I have nothing but time . This target location is subpar with other locations we have visited. They have the normal groceries, house goods, electronics, clothes, etc. We go to this location from time to time for our cleaning and household consumables. The service is the reason for the review. We had one bad experience that is still lingering in our minds. We went in for an a fitbit last winter. We waited at the electronics desk while a worker in that department stood in plain sight chatting it up with an non target friend. They kept talking and talking while we stood there for almost 15 minutes. Finally he came over and said: what do you want? No we don't expect to be treated like royalty but yes we would like some service who care about his or her job. read more

This is a pretty bad Target. Sale stuff is often out of stock or hard to find. The store is just not as organized as other Target stores. The staff really seems annoyed to be there. No thank you when you check out, just a vague stare from the cashier when the transaction is complete. read more

This Target is nice if you're over in this area and need something quick before you hit all that jazz up further North. It's a great way to avoid the mall or that other big strip right by it. It's very clean and has a good selection of items which is nice. I love my Target off of I-80,. because that's a Super Target, which is always a huge perk to get your groceries/other items there. They do have groceries and food available at this target, but it's not extensive by any means. I will always recommend Target! read more

Very organized very clean you will be able to find everything that you need very quickly. The only problem is keeping stuff on the shelves, but that is because everyone goes here! People from Matteson, past up the Matteson Target to go here because of the size and selection. So any of the issues listed by other reviewers is true, but you have a higher possibility of finding that item her than any other Target in the area read more

Do not buy a mobile phone from them! I bought my Iphone 8 and it took one hours to activate (after I paid for it). The manager kept saying "This is normal" but as someone who as bought numerous phones in the past, especially Best Buy, I never waited so long to buy a phone. Total time took 3 hours, they messed up my data plan and took three times to activate it and I had to go to AT&T to finally get it correct that night. It seems that every time I visit this location, things are not taken care of. The merchandise is always a mess. The shoe section, in particular, was horrible the last time I was here. Couldn't take a step down an aisle without needing to walk over a shoe or a box. The baby clothing section is always sparse. It's like they never restock. Today I went to the seasonal section to look at the Valentine's Day items. I grabbed a box of chocolates and noticed the shrink wrap was torn. I grabbed a box from behind and it was missing any wrap. Same with the box behind that. I opened each one and saw that chocolates were taken out of them all. I seriously doubt this was an isolated event to only the boxes I checked. Some poor person has probably bought one of those boxes and will now be gifting a tampered box to somebody. The employees were stocking, which is fine, but their carts were taking up every aisle. I couldn't even bring my baby into aisles with me because shopping carts couldn't fit past the merchandise carts. It was 11am. I don't think it was too early to be expecting it to be easier to get around the stockers. There was one employee who was clearly not paying attention to where he was putting items and was checking his phone nonstop. Overall, I've really hated coming to this location over the last year. I usually go out of my way now to visit the Oak Lawn store because it's always clean and put together. Management needs to figure something out because this store is awful. read more

My visit to Target this weekend was to pick up Maybelline mascara, while I was strolling through the cosmetic aisles there was a cosmetic rep. for a new brand called No. 7, she was extremely nice, (wish I remembered her name lol). As I was looking for mascara she told me about their new product Boots No7 Exceptional Definition Mascara - Brown / Black for $7.99, I was very skeptical on buying it since I always use Maybelline. So I got the mascara, I am very satisfied with it, it washes of easily does not clump, definitely recommend this product. I will definitely try their other products. read more

The store is great, help finding things, no problem, organized, clean, all good. My only issue is at check out: The last time I visited, two cashiers were chattin' it up with a personal conversation, while they were ringing myself and another customer, giving us minimal attention, no greeting and no thank you, upon completion of the transaction. Now, today a brunette cashier, maybe in her upper 50s to early 60s didn't even greet me, I greeted her while she was scanning items.
