Worst target I've been to so far everyone in electronics is extremely rude, unorganized, and no one wants to help you.

This target is by far the worst I've been in. The customer service is virtually nonexistent or is run by very rude staff, the store is disgustingly filthy, and many of the products have not been changed in years. What I mean by that is... the maternity section is only about 3 feet long and its mixed in with the clearance section and the plus size clothing AND it's the same clothing that has been there all year. I haven't seen anything new in the racks since before my pregnancy began!!! And the only maternity items they carry are jeans, exercise pants, and three types of shirts. COME ON PEOPLE!!! Really? No maternity underwear, professional clothing, or variety? Ridiculous!!! And from reading previous reviews I agree with others when they said that they have found expired food there on the shelves. I just moved here and I will not go to the target on Arlington because it is so dirty and chaotic. I bought two carts filled tonight and everyone was beyond helpful!! Ian was so patient helping price check some items that were not marked and the management was also very prioritizing to have him help me to my car and gave a really fun and welcomed experience. I will be making the drive to this target because not only is it super clean but it has a way better selection and I got asked by so many employees if I needed any help etc vs the other target where I have seen often bad attitudes. I want to thank Angelique, in Target Deli, for giving me Excellent Customer Service. When I ordered my Popcorn she was very polite and friendly, I paid she gave me my change, washed her hands with soap and put on gloves and then served my popcorn. Two weeks ago I came in for popcorn, paid for it , the cashier went right over grab the popcorn bag shook it and put her hand in it to open it after handling money, so very unsanitary. In Target the night before Halloween. The lines are very long. That's understandable, but they have their employees pushing their credit card. That made a bad line much worse by stopping the line when the person didn't have the required information. I mentioned to Joseph E. that they shouldn't be pushing the credit card while the lines are so long. He responded "they (target) can do credit card applications at the register. " I told him just because you can, doesn't mean you should. He repeated the same comment that they "can" do credit applications at the register. I would normally never talk negatively about Target but today was a day where I was not impressed with their customer service/returns department. It may be just the interaction I had with the lady working the desk. I told her I didn't need the item after all. After a scare with the receipt, I found the correct receipt (without the receipt, I would have only gotten $8 for a $30 item!). She rudely tells me that I had to take the item back to the store I got the item from originally because it was purchased same day. I can understand return policies, having worked in retail before. This Target is always trashy and unkept. Clothes thrown everywhere, trash, and pushy employees. Worst Target I have been to.

I love Target, but this location is getting scarier. There is no security in parking lot, and there are so many people who are always looking suspicious or coming up to you and asking for money. Also when trying to shop, stock is sometimes all over the place making it impossible to retrieve items, and the stockers don't even attempt to move just a bit so you can get what you need and then leave...rhey just look at you and continue to act they don't even see you. read more

This is usually my favorite Target store to come to but today wasn't a pleasant experience. I was trying to exchange a dvd because it wasn't reading on my player and I was so darn lucky to get ALYSA at guest services helping me. She was THEE WORST. I told her I bought it a few days ago abc it won't play... before I could finish she cut me off and said I can't return it because it's open and piracy. I said since when and she rudely said it's been like that and that she can't help me. I asked to speak to a manager and she calls one to come over. While waiting I ask where on the receipt it says that and to show me. And it says on their policy that it CAN BE EXCHANGED. So I'm like that's what I'm trying to do and she cut me off AGAIN and said that's not right. So I told her first off watch your tone and second to just stop speaking because she doesn't want these problems. Her coworker quickly intervened and told her to go to the back. The manager came and said yes I can return it and it wasn't a problem because their policy ALLOWS me to exchange it. Alysa is a scrawny stick looking white chick with brown hair. She's around 20. Every time its the same, I think I will buy one thing, buy at least 10! Easily set up and helpful staff are always present. Obviously if you go on the weekend its more crowded but still there are always enough casheirs to help out. I actually got my truck broken into here but at no fault of target. The security guard helped and tried looing up video, but he tried. Close to home, there are backstreets if you want to avoid the mall traffic. Use your target card and save 5% everytime! read more

I have high expectations for target stores, this one is lower on my list of favorite targets though... No Starbucks for one. No garden center. I do love that it has a produce area and stuff like a grocery store, but it's not a super target or whatever they are. I haven't had any issues with customer service. Usually come in to target just get necessities and go. But today was different. Went in still for necessities but as we were checking out our checker was so enthusiastic and friendly. The cashier named Paul was so helpful he worked fast and was very organized held great conversation and even encouraged me to get a red card with I was approved for ! I am not one that usually ever leaves reviews, let alone very negative ones but can't help myself this time. The male employee named Sam, who is apparently a manager or superviser, is incredibly rude and unprofessional. He acted annoyed and inconvenienced when an older woman near me was asking for help. He kept walking away to chat with other employees and when he did help was rude about it. I understand you may be busy, but it's no excuse for such poor customer service. I was surprised when I asked to talk to a superviser that he was the one who came over. Will be avoiding this target location. read more

I just went in to buy a bunch of gift cards and they charge you $5.00 just to buy a gift card for their own store walked out and went got them for no charge at the grocery store. This places return policy is such a huge nightmare you better make sure you have exactly what you want. Highly recommend not going to this place what a joke. This target always miss labels prices. The price on the shelf never matches the price at the register. I have to take pictures of the shelf prices for the items I'm buying in case the checkout clerk charges me more. It is very annoying shopping at this location due to this reason. read more

I've given this Target so many chances but as the years pass by this Target gets worse & worse! Sitting in my car before going in the store I'm constantly harassed by people begging for money or trying to sell candy, etc. I've made the management and security at this location aware of the situation but they don't seem to be too concerned with solving the issue. This is the worst Target location I've ever been to. I've also had to point out several times to the employees of this store that food items in the grocery section are frequently expired. I refuse to shop at this specific location ever again tonight was the last straw having a random middle aged man knocking on my car window trying to sell me candy is where I draw the line. After speaking with the management for the night about this situation I come to find that they don't even have security tonight on duty, no surprise. I wish I could give negative 100 stars! Went in tonight to develop a large amount of photos. Had a misunderstanding with Maria (she was rude and dismissive). Thank goodness for Kevin P and Alicia!! They were super stars! I had a great experience there today in the women's department with a young employee named Alyssa who went above and beyond in helping me with a clasp that was difficult to use on a piece of woman's apparel. She must have spent at least 10 minutes trying to open it then teach me how to use it. Hard to find people who actually want to help you these days. Thanks Alyssa! Terrible customer service!! My 9 month pregnant sister went to the Arlington store to try to find a white crib when that store was unable to locate one they searched online to see if any white crib was available. Brianna, the associate at the Arlington target, was helping my sister and was able to find a crib on clearance located at the Tyler store. When my sister arrived she was told the crib they put on hold for her was not on sale. Thinking maybe the wrong crib was grabbed she went looking around the store for it she called Brianna at Arlington and asked about the crib and took the phone to customer service where Brianna explained to Sam that they need to honor the online price for their guest. I confirmed this on their website that states they honor prices that are less on target.com as well as competitors pricing. Sam was assisting my sister which he had a horrible attitude from the start and refused to honor the pricing and would not help her in any way. How sad that this is the person target hand picked to assist their customers I'm very disappointed and angry at how my 9 month pregnant sister was treated I will no longer be shopping here anymore. But thanks to Brianna at the Arlington target for being so kind and telling my sister if she bought the crib for the price that rang up at the Tyler store she could bring it to the Arlington store, get a refund, and THEY would honor the online price. Brianna even spoke with Sam to explain targets policy and he still refused. Because of Sams horrible customer service we will not be shopping at this target. How disappointing. read more

Where to begin, like stated in other reviews parking lot is a nightmare for parking add the homeless hiding behind cars and popping out to ask for change very unsettling especially at night. Has the basics one can need and groceries. Lines here have to be the worst I've seen EVER. Even worse now that they got rid of some lanes for the self checkout which made the lines worse than before. To make it even more worse the cashiers are desperate for red cards of all the targets I've been too not to mention they say it so forced it feels awkward. I mean one asked me to login into my bank acc. To get the routing number to open the debit red card when k declined the credit one...ARE YOU KIDDING ME HAVE SOME RESPECT. And this is coming from a FORMER TARGET employee(not this location) I would never ask of that from my guests, the reason I had my regular guests only check out with me is bc of cashiers like these Smh. Other than that I'll still make the grueling sacrifice to come here when I really need to. read more

They falsely advertise things online stating that their in-store and they don't exist and the manager Maria by far the most disrespectful incompetent person I've ever dealt with! Instead of fixing a problem she talks about you to other associates behind your back as you leave the store so unprofessional !!! My favorite target! I work down the street and go on my lunch! Yes the lines can get long, but I have been going online to put my order in for anything I need and within 2 hours my order is ready all I have to do is walk to customer service and show my ID to pick up my order, it's so fast and I get what I need. Staff is always nice, parking can be not so good sometimes but I think that's anywhere you go. So overall 4 stars, thanks target! read more

I am a huge target shopper. If theres something you need they probably have it. I went to the target in fontana looking for pinky pie piggy bank. She said it wasn't available but told me the one on tyler in riverside had it. Before driving out here i double checked online and it says they did have it. I show up here and employee told me they no longer carry them. They put them up for sale in clearance. She said no target has them anymore. Why wasnt it update online??!! Why did the fontana employee send me over here!! So upset. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I went in today and to my surprise I see that the lines were worse than Black Friday. My question is, why in the world was there only 5 registers open during the busiest hours of the day and especially 4 days before Christmas. Every register should of been open. Unfortunately, Target has eliminated ways to contact them directly. The "Contact Us" option on their website brings you about as close to contacting them as ET was from his home planet. Oh, but you can call them... give that a shot if you have nothing productive to do with the better part of your day. My angst toward Target really stems not from their desire to dodge customers, but in the recent "update" as it's been called, to the Cartwheel app. In short, the app now limits the number of items that receive the discount applied when you add that item to your list. Got it. But here's my problem with this... were they going to let any of their millions of customers know this before getting in line with 8, 9, or 10 of that particular item. No, why would they? Here's the thing, Target doesn't exactly need anymore help in losing business to Walmart but they have found a way to help themselves dig that whole. It is more conducive to business, I guess, to put the customer into a predicament at the register to bite the bullet and buy all that stuff at full price or bite the bullet and put it back, wasting a whole bunch of their time.
