I don't usually shop at this Target, but I was nearby so I it was more convenient that the Sacraments East location that is closer to home. My first stop was the playground for the cute bargain bin items, which are mostly seasonal and there is always new and useful items. A lot for school kids, but something for everyone. This particular Target had quite a bit of empty space in that section and I wasn't excited about most of it....then I spotted a clear acrylic laptop stand for only $5. Yes, please! Or so I hoped. Unfortunately, they neglected to put this item in my bag with several other things I purchased and I didn't realize it until I arrived at home. It was past 10 pm, so I tried calling about 45 minutes after they opened. I tried 4 times, and 4 departments and not a single person answered. So now I wasted time calling and will have to waste more time and gas driving out to this store in 106 degree heat because of their lack of service on multiple levels. Thanks Target, won't be returning any time soon. I'm only giving two stars because it was a convenient location, but only once when I was in that area of town. read more

I ordered for pickup. I showed up at the agreed time. They did not have my item ready. I asked if it's possible for me to go get it for them (it's sitting on the shelf). They said if I go get it for them, I'd be charged again. Anyway, The guy named Byron acted like he don't need customers. He just didn't care to listen to me so I left and called target Customer service. They apologized for Byron's behavior and compensated me for the inconvenience. They also offered a full refund. Needless to say, I won't ever do a order for pick up again. Lesson learned! read more

I went to this Target one time about two weeks ago with my son. I went in for one item, contact solution, but you know how it goes at Target. I couldn't find it so I asked an employee. She acted as though I really bothered her by asking! Then she pulled up something on her phone and said, "We don't have any!" I told her I've purchased it several times at my local store and she just stared at me. So I said that I'd find without her assistance. I asked someone in the pharmacy who politely told me exactly where it was. I shopped some more then headed for the checkout. I waited for 15 minutes before someone finally opened up a second register, but do you think she did the correct thing and announced that she'd take the next person in line? Nope! She just stood there, and before I could get my cart to her register, another woman jumped in front of me, and then they talked for several minutes. When I finally got to the register, the employee didn't say one word to me. She rang up my items, I paid with my debit card and started to walk away with my bags. Then I stopped, looked her directly in the face, and said, "Gee...thanks." She glared at me and I left. I will NEVER return to that Target. Pathetic customer service. read more

Who doesn't love target? This is my go-to location for several reasons. One because of convenience. Two because it's clean & stocked. Third because they have a Starbucks now! I stopped by for a few items today. I was able to get in and out pretty quickly. I often use the self checkout but today I didn't. I was greeted by the kindest cashier. He wasn't only nice to me but extremely kind to the guest in front of me. He even offered the kid a sticker. Such a kind gesture! I enjoyed having a brief conversation with Johnie. I do enjoy shopping at Target over Wal-Mart. They seem to stock better quality stuff. Lol. I came in after the crazy holiday rush looking for sweaters. My friend and I picked up a few Christmas clearance items and headed for the sweater Wowza!! They were wiped out and people went through the shelves and just tossed everything. I felt really bad for the poor employees who have to refold everything. It looked like a tornado blew through there. Lol. Funny...I only found one sweater my size. My only complaint is when I came home and went to the Target online page is that the exact same sweater was $7 cheaper. Needless to say I returned the sweater the very next day. I was able to order more online with free shipping. I will have to look online a little closer now. Lol. I do like the ad prices over all. The ads are normally cheaper than most stores. The lines at checkout were pretty good that day. I didn't wait long. The cashier did say hello and asked if I found everything ok. There were plenty of carts available, too. I walked into the store and purchased something that had an online coupon. The person at checkout counter asked me to install the app to use the discount. So far so good. While installing the app I told the supervisor that I want to share some feedback that their competitors do not require app to be installed. It was just a friendly feedback. While I was speaking, the supervisor cut me off and said "we are a different store" and walked away. Their customer support is even worse. Somebody by the name Hussain picked up the phone. Their response was - if you do not agree with our procedures, you can take your business elsewhere. They added - why are you comparing our store with any other store? And they said thanks for the feedback and hung up on me. People have plenty of choices these days and so collecting feedback politely is good even if you do not need to take any actions on it. So I am surely taking my purchase elsewhere. I wish I could give them zero stars. read more

I love target! And this target is closer to my job and I come here fairly often before the pandemic. The staff here is nice and haven't had any issue with this target. I bought diapers at target and they didn't fit my son well and I needed to return them. But when I tried to returned them at a target close to my house the lady there was very rude and basically said I couldn't return them. Target seems to receive a decent chunk of my paycheck, so it was only a matter of time before I reviewed the Cosumnes Target. That's Ka-sooom-nuss not Ka-sum-ness similar to how we all pronounce Mather as Maether. This location is in the wonderful traffic nightmare known as the Highway 99 / Bruceville / Cosumnes cluster-you-know-what intersection. They are in the City of Sacramento limits so you can keep your sales tax local. This location seems less busy than most of the Sacramento stores. The parking lot also has lots of big shade trees for those hot summers. The layout changed to incorporate the grocery section, but has a similar corporate feel to the rest. Again, nothing special about this one, just cheap daily necessities with a few funky stuff thrown in. read more

What I love about this Target is that they have ample parking. There's usually never a need to fight for parking here and I've been coming here for the past 10 years. Jeez am I old! The bathrooms are fairly clean and the store is fairly clean. I love the clearance sales at some of the end caps. I always find great deals or finds to buy. The employees are always busy, but I love how they are on top of opening lanes to speed up the congestion at the checkout lanes. The only HUGE con I have for this particular target is that there are more and MORE peddlers and beggars and scammers in the parking lot making this whole shopping experience close on a bad note. I always want to avoid the individuals outside. Sad that it use to not be like that! Someone needs to fix this problem. I'm sorry, but EVERYONE is struggling to make a living too. read more

Target is very dear to my heart! Like seriously how could you not like target! Today I ran in to get a manual breast pump. I told myself over and over just Go in for that one thing and that one thing only. as soon as i walked in the smell of Starbucks pulled me in! So I had to stop and get a coffee while in line my husband was sucked in to ordering a popcorn as the smell was tooo yummy to resist! Okay now we have our snacks! I reminded myself to get focused again but darn it the $1 sections sucked me in! Right now they have all the cute Halloween socks, dish towels and crafts! After spending some time there I got refocused and was on my way to get the item I came for! Butttttt no on the way to the baby section I had to pass the women's clothes and shoes, ugh! Lol long story short I send hundreds when I was only going in for a $30 item! Target wins again! Only downside besides spending more than I wanted is the shoe area was a mess. I was at at the self check out line scanning my items yesterday 7/17/2023 at this location. I had scanned 5 pokemon packs and 1 dragon ball pack of cards. He said I can't purchase the dragon ball z pack cause I'm over my limit. I told him no its not pokemon its different. He said no its the same , I suggested next time they should put a sign up and be more specific. Not everyone knows. He was watching me from behind as I was scanning my items. Not only that I was being targeted. While he was talking to me , he called back up. There were 3 security guards and Im just only one person. You don't need 3 security guards on 1 person. I don't want to support a business that makes me feel unsafe/threatened. I never thought this would would happen to me.This really hit me hard and is messing with my mental health. I love they have great selections and clearance but the staff here really brings ur store down. I was walking to the woman's clearance rack and this staff in picture was on her phone scrolling through her Facebook app. She was standing right in between the isle, never one said hello or sorry for being in the way and not even notice I was behind her. After 5 mins she proceed to start scanning and salvaging items on the rack while it's obvious im squeezing myself thru her cart looking thru the clothes still no words for excusing herself for being in her way of doing her personal business while on the clock! read more

Went to return an item today, and the customer service gave me a hard time. They kept asking why I needed to return the item. After a frustrating exchange, I did my weekly grocery shopping! Needless to say I would not recommend shopping at this location unless you want to be profiled, and stopped by self checkout employees asking what you last scanned. They had alerted 2 security "guards" and both were watching my every move through the store, until I left. Very impolite, rude, and disrespectful Target employees. read more

And, the cashiers here are generally easy-going and not prone to moving at a snail's pace as are some of the Walmart's cashiers. I like looking through their end-caps and seasonal areas for mark-downs on items - interesting stuff to be found sometimes! You know their bullseye dog mascot? Well, evidently, they've now taken to using their red bullseye baskets to market their featured goods! Anything you might get off your couch to find at a department store is way in the back, all the stuff up front, ie. Clothing, is three months in the future which means it's not for the current season. I walked clear across the store looking for a red shirt to help me find a coat in January, and the assistant had to tell me winter clearance already passed... Anything decorative is girly af. This Target is the second closest to my house and I will come here sometimes when I'm looking for something and they don't have it at the Laguna Blvd. Target. This one is newer and maybe bigger, I'm not sure. The clientele is a bit more South Sac, but not really bad or anything. The staff seem about the same as the Laguna one in terms of friendliness... they are all overworked and mgrs seem very uptight most times. I don't shop Target much anymore due to their stricter and stricter coupon policy and limits and also prices have gone up. You used to see 90% off clearance, now everything is snatched up at 50% off and maybe some items will get to 75% off, so no killer deals to be had even in the clearance section. The bathrooms are cleaner here than the Laguna one and overall, it's probably easier to find parking here since it has its own dedicated parking lot. After the whole credit card stolen information debacle, I wonder when/if Target will recover from that. I know I will only be paying by cash or gift card there from now on. read more

This target gets two starts. I shop here alllll the time, because I am a big couponer. This target is really strict and their cashiers are not trained properly. Every cashier is different and they are all inconsistent with their rules. I know targets coupon policy by heart, and every time I even come to the register, the cashiers like to deny my coupons. I follow the rules all the time. Limit 4 like coupons per transaction per day per customer. Besides that, the target here is always packed! the lines are longer. Normally if there is more than 3 people in line, they are supposed to open up another register. Sometimes I can be standing in line forever. This target does not have a starbucks in there. However, it does have a foodcourt with target items and pizzahut. read more

Very clean and great customer service. I visited and was had questions about makeup. There was a taller young woman who was training with a male staff member on July 11th around 3pm-ish. She was very Knowledgable about make up products and explained what I needed. Although she was a much different skin complexion than me, what she recommended to me worked it perfectly after trying it out today.
