This Target is a bit out of my way but I like how it's not as crowded as other Target's that I usually go to. The store is fully stocked and I really liked the layout. The lady that checked us out was really nice and when she was trying to sell us on getting a Target card she wasn't pushy and rather just highlighted the benefits which actually made me consider it. I will probably keep going to this Target even though it's a little more out of my way it's worth it. read more

Like most customers you walk in for one thing and walk out with a plethora of items that you probably don't need. This Target had the most friendliest employees and to top it off is clean and organized! What I love is that there are always cashiers and the line is never a long wait. This is absolutely a great place to shop. I specifically downloaded the Target app because I can make my list and it tells me the quickest way to get around the store. It also gives me isle numbers which greatly helps when I am looking for things. The store is always clean and there's always parking. Customer service is great, but the people on the floor always busy assisting other customers -- which is why I got the app. Overall the general feel of the store is nice and I love it for all my random day to day needs. read more

I was not planning on writing a negative review, but here goes. I have been coming to this target for 3+ years, about once a week on average. There were plenty of occasions where I would just come here to walk around and browse stuff cuz it was clean, organized and everything just looked good. I loved how clean it was, the ready to help staff, easily accessible items and of course the customer service. That is until about a year ago where i noticed things started to change in a bad way. The store was still clean and organized, for the most part. The customer service however, has gotten very bad to inexistent, add to that they were almost always understaffed. I would tolerate the once in a while "too bored to do my job right" type cashiers because I thought it was, well, a once in a while thing, but this has sort of become the norm lately and I no longer look forward to coming to this store. I am not even talking about the lack of "hello" and "thank you"s. So far I have had to deal with cashiers who would constantly be complaining or talking to other cashiers about how they hate their jobs among other things, while helping me; too distracted to ask if i wanted a bag (happens too often); handing me my change while looking at and talking to another cashier, dropping some of it on the floor and not even saying sorry or offering to pick it up (another customer was kind enough to pick it up for me); ones who would strike up a conversation with the person behind me not acknowledging I was there at all; and the latest one that really got to me was one who didn't ask me if I wanted a bag, (which is ok, it happens a lot apparently) but when I did ask she grabbed one and set it along with the stuff I bought, I had to ask if she could bag my items, says nothing, goes on to bagging my items and puts the bag on the counter in front of her, hands me my receipt and proceeds to scan the next customers items at which point I was tired of telling her how to do her job basically so I reached over the counter to grab my bag and left. Not all cashiers are bad and I'm still going back, but a lot fewer times than I used to. I just go to Walmart more now, customer service is bad but at least they try, and I won't feel like an inconvenience. read more

What a beautiful Target! Brand new, clean, and lots of friendly employees everywhere! I went during the lunch hour and didn't have to wait in line to purchase my items at all -- someone was waiting to help me immediately. However, the food line seemed relatively long and it seemed only one person was manning the thing. I figure it makes more sense to have a few more hands, especially during lunch hour. I really wanted an Icee, but that's okay, I know they're probably still working out the kinks. read more

This is a great new Target that has a tremendous amount of parking and is right off the 237 for easy access. I have been here many times and I feel this is the LEAST crowded Target in San Jose. I also feel this Target is stocked well so you don't have to worry about them not having the item you are looking for. The aisle sales are OK and I would expect better from a typical target. If your looking to do your department store shopping without any fuss I recommend doing it here. read more

I am in this target all the time. It's a great place to get everything at once. Clean and well organized. The only issue I have with this target is that there are never enough checker stations open, and lines always build up. I wish the workers were better at opening more checkout stations when the lines start getting long. read more

This has to be by far the best target I've ever been too, great customer service, store is always clean and when ever i have a question i don't have to go search for a store associate they are always out and willing to assist me or any other customers that may need help. A few other targets I've been to seem like the sales staff/associates really don't care how the store looks but for people who frequent the store it matters how the exterior looks as well as the interior and the restrooms. I live closer to the Landess target and would rather drive the extra 10 minutes to this one for the service and hospitality. read more

I waited till at least my 5th negative experience here before writing a review. Due to the convenient location, I stop here a couple times a week while my son is at soccer training and I have yet to come through a line when there are more than two registers open. The lines get ridiculously long and the self-service registers breakdown. If you are in a rush this is not the place to stop at during the weekday evening hours. If you're understaffed hire more workers, this has been an ongoing problem for the last month. read more

I like this Target overall since the staff is polite. However it seems many times items are out if stock. I think one chocolate bar has been out of stick since June. And on multiple visits I've had issues with checkout. Prices don't always match shelf prices. I've had a couple of issues with a receipt that didn't print out correctly. Apparently reprint isn't an option. read more

I decided to try the Starbucks here & love it. Always great customer service. I stop here during my lunch break just about everyday. Jennifer and Aaron in Customer Service are superb in customer service at this store! They both went above and beyond to be very courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. That stood out a lot at this store, cause I've been to many Targets in different locations, but its the customer service you get from the employees that make the whole experience of shopping at Target wonderful!There is also a Starbucks and a small fast food restaurant inside. & Parking is fast and easy. Dont try to order online. Target.com is worst online market i ever know... Ever. I order 4 diff item they deliver in 3 diff shiftments and i receive the last item after two months! They will not tell you that the item is out of stock until you follow up. To be detailed, the last item that i order is pillow case, when they deliver my pillow case after two months, it was huge. I order the standard size pillow case and they give me the big pillow case that i think is good for two pillows. i dont want to return and wait for another two months. Do yourself a favor and not order online. that will be the first and last for me. Bad experience read more

I do not live or work close by this target. However, its prime location means I drive by it all the time. So it's actually more convenient to stop and stock up on things than Fremont target which is closer to my home. The store is clean, well organized, and just as well as the new Target in south Fremont. However, I was not able to find any EV charging station at the N 1st Target. No big deal but kind of outdated when it's located near the center of Silicon Valley. read more

Normally Target is my store of choice. Apparently, today is NOT their day. I couldn't find the bounce on the shelf. To be fair, they were restocking. It was in a shopping cart at the end of the aisle but there were only 4 of them. I found more in the kitchen/home appliance section - 2 sections over from where they should be. Secondly, I DID NOT get my 5 cents for bringing my own bag. I even pointed it out to the cashier. He said that my reuseable bags should be like this (holding up the TARGET reuseable bag). Really?? Do I have to buy a TARGET reusable bag instead of bringing my own? Target has dropped a few notches in my book!! read more

The one in redwood city specifically feels like im all alone of I need help and everyone is so lazy. This review is specifically about the pharmacy. Between my husband and I, we have several prescriptions and the staff at Target pharmacy is unfailingly excellent, courteous and efficient. All the staff members are praise-worthy, but I want to especially note the pharmacist Mick. He has gone out of his way to resolve issues with my insurance and clarify instructions with my doctors numerous times. My prescriptions are always ready on time and if there is a delay, as I have one medication that needs to stay refrigerated and is therefore a special order, he is proactive in letting me know when I can expect it. The pharmacy at this Target has the efficiency of a large chain store while retaining the personal touch of a small town druggist. As long as we live in the area, we'll never have our prescriptions filled anywhere else. read more

Two weeks ago I couldn't talk to the check out clerk because she was Mexican and barely understood English. So she called her Mexican manager over so I could tell him that she couldn't understand English. I told him not to bother about it and it was OK. Today I encountered the same Mexican manager at the checkout stand, and without asking me, he began putting all my groceries in the cart without bagging them. He said he thought that's what I wanted. He said a lot of people won't pay ten cents for a paper bag and so he puts their items in the cart. When I told him he didn't ask me anything, he said nothing. I think he did this deliberately, as all the clerks at the check out stands have always asked me if I wanted to pay for paper bags, and this particular Mexican didn't because he was being confrontational. read more

Worst place to shop at if you are a couponer hoping to save some money!!! Seriously! I walked into target today hoping to get in on their deals. The deals were.... -Buy a Oil Diffuser get a free refill. (Diffuser was on sale for $5.39) -Buy a Expression Mist and get a free refill. (Mist was on sale for $2.69) Also they had Method hand soap on sale for $2.99 I had (2) $4 Off Any glade Oil Diffuser kit (2) $2 Off Glade Expression Mist (1) Manufacturers coupon for $1 off Method (1) Target coupon for $1 off Method as well. [You can use one manufacturers and one store coupon on the same item] Okay.. So after the cashier scans my items he tells me the total. I handed him SIX coupons and puts them in a box, he tells me its $10.67 To my calculations I was only supposed to pay $5.15 before tax. Well he forgets to scan one of my coupons and ended up paying $4 MORE than i should've. This isnt the first time this happens! &If I return anything they give me crap about it, last time i returned items they returned half of what I paid because they were on sale at the time i returned. Wtf? And if you used a coupon they wont return you your coupon.. Meaning they get to keep it and they get reembursed for the item you didnt even end up buying! SO they make money from screwing up your purchase and they get to sell the item anyway! If they have their own store coupons I dont see why they are so anti-couponists! HATERS GON' HATE! If you shop with coupons I suggest you take yourself accross the street to the CVS that just opened, they are much better with customers and are really considerate when it comes to using coupons. read more

I would Like to say that their Photo department totally and completely suck!!!!! I was their tonight for 45 minutes to an hour scanning, cropping and enlarging photo's. The Lady who apparently runs the photo department saw me their and knew what I was doing. So I was just getting ready to wrap everything up and hit print and WHAM, WHAM the screen goes dark and everything I was doing was gone the time was 9:10pm apparently the computers shut down automatically is what she say and their is nothing she can due about that. I was so so very very Pissed I'm like you couldn't give me a warning or a heads up computers shut down Automatically at this time. I told you have seen me standing her for freaking 45 to hour what the hell did you think I was doing. Of course she just gave the Bullshit well I can't do anything about it's not my fault and the GSTL on duty was totally useless. Needless to say I took my but over to the Walgreen's of Capital and McKee that is open 24 hours their Photo Department was awesome, friendly, Polite and helpful so helpful the I ended up getting to more of the gifts they make and a picture frame that was half price spent 30.00 and all and left totally satisfied. I got a Walgreen's Card and will be going to that specific Walgreen's in the future and from know on. I was so annoyed with that Target and the Crappy, Rude, Uneducated service I got I will never,never go to any of their Photo Department ever again. I love their stores and their items yes but their Photo Departments have all lost my Business. read more
