I love this Target because of layout and cleanliness and the lighting for some reason is much better than the other Targets in the area

Their staff is awful and rude. They don't have any patient with us. I went use a checkout machine to check out my stuff. I inform the machine that I brought three bags to put my stuff in. There was a problem in the machine so I told a white woman about it and she seems she don't give a fk about it. I told her can you please inform the machine that I brought a bags and she said no you can't. She want me to pay for it. Dudette! I have the right to save me 15 cents for it! She kept giving me her stink attitude toward me. I'm done with that lady. Maybe she had a bad days so she want to give it to us all. Bathroom was atrocious, I mean atrocious. The first 4 stalls were clogged and full, I'll spare you the details. When I walked in, an employee came out. How can you let all that mess just go? At least notify someone to come clean it! Also, clothes were unorganized and on the floor everywhere in the store. There were empty Starbucks cups and trash on the shelves (which I think the owners should take care of themselves. Find a garbage!) but if it's left behind by accident and an employee sees it, they should clean it up. The floors were really dirty and there was trash everywhere in the parking lot. Messiest target I've ever been to. I feel the need to shower now. Never going back. read more

It's too bad you can't do a negative rating because I would. After tonight I will NEVER EVER step foot in a Target store. We lined up for 3 HOURS to get a PS4 and they didn't have any. We were the first to the counter too. The manager came out a few times while we were in line and asked what people were lining up for. several of us said that we were there to get a PS4. I asked him if they had them. He said he didn't know. He could have very easily radioed that department and asked and saved us the 3 hour wait, but NO. We asked him every time he came by and he wouldn't give us a answer. He said we needed to go to that department. What an ass. I will never ever go in there ever again and I use to shop there pretty regularly. read more

Very friendly staff. Easy returns! I shop at this Target store for years and always happy with my shopping experiences. I recently bought a headboard from Target.com and it was too big and I had no trouble to return it to the store at all. Very impressive with their service. I am so disappointed with Target. This is my go to store for all of the things I need, but this time they denied my service dog in training on entering the store. The staff was incredibly rude, and I am considering not going back due to the lack of knowledge and professionalism that the staff of Target displayed. read more

I went to this target looking for a swimsuit and I found a really cute one with the matching top, the only problem was that it was too small for me. I go over to the fitting room area and ask Becky (the employee that was working the fitting rooms) if she could find out if there was any more in the back. Turns out there wasn't and she offered to call another store. She called the other target on Monterrey and they did not have the size I was looking for. She then called oakridge and they did not have my size. She spent about 10 minutes calling these stores which really made me happy because I've never received such great customer service. I kept shopping around and suddenly Becky found the size I was looking for, it was mixed in with some clearance I believe. It was awesome because it said that that size wasn't in that store and she went above and beyond to help me find the size I needed. She has patience and kind and I would definitely go back to this store because of the experience I had with Becky :) read more

Dear Target, Please find better people to work for you than to pick someone off the street to argue with customers! Not only that, people who work here seems to be miserable and the store is poorly organized! I was having to deal with Joana and it's frustrating to say the least. She has an attitude and very unprofessional. I bought 4 tubs of Enfamil Formula and 3 6-packs Pediasure. I gave the cashier 3 Enfamil Checks and 3 Pediasure manufacturer coupons. The cashier processed the Enfamil checks and missed the 3 coupons I gave her. I mentioned that to her and she said she would have to void the whole transaction and call her Supervisor because the coupons should be scanned before the checks. She got Joana to come take a look and on the coupon and it says "1 coupon per purchase". Joana said I could only use 1 coupon. I explained to her that 1 coupon per purchase means it's 1 item purchase and it doesn't mean 1 coupon per transaction. She raised her voice and said "We have the right to refuse the coupons and if you don't like it, you can go to a different Target". I didn't want to argue or put up with her attitude so I asked to speak to someone higher than her. She brought David over to speak with me. I explained the same thing to him and he seems to be understanding but Joana kept telling him over and over we have be right to refuse the coupons. I called Target Corporate and their excuse was we can limit the coupons because of our store location. What does that have to do with it!? read more

Went in to find my sons bday gift. Went to the bedding aisle and found the item out of stock. Saw an associate walking with headphones on and asked him for help. The associate told me he was on break and said he would get someone. I watched him walk off into the distance and then go into the back of the store. I gave it a couple of minutes and saw someone walking my way and i thought they were sent for me. At the last second they turned and went down a different aisle then me. I saw them also walk into the back. I then was frustrated so i went to the phone and pushed 1 to get help. Someone showed up within 45 seconds and she was extremely helpful. She found the item at the oakridge target and offered to call to verify for me. I thanked her and let her know about the bad service from the other associate. She said she would let a manager know and was very sorry for the bad service. The cashier was also very friendly. It would of been 1 star, but the last two associates saved the day. read more

our home is in oregon, but we're staying down in the peninsula and south bay temporarily. we stopped in to target to pick up stuff to set up an apartment. our bank and credit card companies, of course, know our permanent residence is out of state. so, before long, all of them blocked our purchasing power. we camped out at a register with teri, as her supervisor called target credit and our bank, and we called amex. teri was absolutely the best. calm, helpful, consoling. she made a horrible experience tolerable. and SHE thanked us for our patience. she was awesome. read more

This store is convient but pretty messy. I recently signed up for a "Target Debt" card and wasn't given my check back. When I called to talk to a manager (I have mobility issues or I would have got back) I got a rude operator and had to demand to talk to a manager. The manager stated she was really a "sweet" person and justified her behavior. What happened to customer service ??? read more

I would like to commend James, the manager I have seen there. He once helped me with a pricing issue and promptly took care of it. Another time, I saw him compliment an employee. He also called for more help at check-out and apologized to me for the wait as I left the store. read more

I really like going to this Target! I just realized a couple weeks ago that some of their produce and grocery items are way cheaper than Lucky or Safeway. I've only had one bad experience with a cashier but either than that the cashiers are always super kind! I use to work here and I know how crazy and stressful it can be so it means a lot for cashier to continue to be patient through out their day. I wish they had a bigger selection of adult clothing or professional attire. But that doesn't stop me from shopping here. read more

Their curbside pickup is one of the best services ever invented! Why did it take me so long to discover this amazing convenience! I remembered something I needed to pick up tonight on my way home, but dreaded having to drag my tired little kids out of the car and into the store to pick up a tube of toothpaste right before dinner. I remembered the curbside kiosk I've seen when I've gone shopping there and downloaded the app - by the time I got home, my purchase was waiting for me out front of the store. I didn't even have to get out of the car - they handed me the bag through my car window!! Like a fast food drive through, I paused to check my bag - all the things I had ordered were there. It's fantastic!! So convenient! I'll be using this service going forward! read more

Got out of surgery and stopped here to get my wife's pain prescriptions filled , it's 6:50 pm and they told me they can't fill them because they only have 10 minutes till closing time. What a joke now we have to drive all over town to find a pharmacy that's open with a surgery patient in tow. read more

I have shopped this Target for over 15 years. I have always loved the pricing and availability of so many different items. The past 2-3 years have been disappointing to me. I don't know if it is the economy or the business decisions of the store itself, but I have shopped there less and less. There are fewer items, higher prices, and the store just does not compare to other service stores in the area. read more

Okay I go to this target very often but this time was awesome!! I want to really thank and give a big shout out to Joseph and Scotti. Scotti was just stocking items in the electronic section and I pulled him a few times with questions about a two items I was looking to get. Once I made my choice he saw that I didnt have a cart and offered to get a cart and also to get someone who will help me out to the car. He pulled Joseph and he was awesome, he was doing many things at once and still was able to help. They had him pulling in the carts from the parking lot and helping inside with carry outs and much more. How do I know, as he was helping me to the car and loading my items into the car he was getting many calls over his walkie pulling him in many directions. Both these young men were awesome. They didnt get annoyed with me, they went above and beyond. They were great! Thank you and I wish you all a great and Merry Christmas. read more

My 5 stars goes to SHAWNEE SNOW! His customer service was excellent and he went above and beyond to help me. He is polite customer oriented and truly wanted to help me, and did not want me to leave frustrated! I hope that Target recognizes his efforts as I was so frustrated that I wanted to cry! He did not give up and made sure I was a satisfied guest! I I went to Target on Hillsdale in San Jose on my lunch hour to pick up a baby shower gift on the Registry. I could not find the baby swing, so I asked for help from Athena and she said to ask the floor people, but there wasn't anyone around, which is why I asked her for help. She looked put out and wanted to play with the carts as if I was bothering her (POOR Customer Service Awful!). for the past couple of months ive had trouble finding anyone to help me with anything.. everywhere i go people seem to think its not there job to help the customer when their job title is customer service.. but whatever.. i went to target, needed meds for my sick pops, talked it up with the pharmicist for a good 15 minutes and couldnt be happier with my $40 worth of OTC drugs. he was more than helpful and i very much appreciated him taking the time to help me with exactly what i was looking for. thanks pharmacy manager khoi! read more

Today I went to the Cambrian Target to make some toy purchases. Because of health issues I cannot walk through the store. I tried to get a cart to ride, but none were charged. I came in the afternoon, so I understand why they weren't ready. Nathan (great employee) asked if he could help me. I explained my problem.. He checked the carts too and apologized that none were ready. He then said he could retreated the items I needed. However, I explained that I wanted to look at what was available. He then looked around and saw that there was a wheelchair available. He offered to push me through the store to pick up the items. I told him what I was looking for and he knew exactly where everything was. We gathered up the items, went to the check stand and then pushed me out to the car, loaded my car and wished me a good day. I have been to several Target stores and overall enjoy the shopping experience. This particular Target has a horrible and unprofessional ASSET PROTECTION team. The other night I was shopping with my wife and it was more than obvious that they were watching us, continuously following us around the salesfloor. They even had the one of the team leaders conduct a " basket pickup" only at the register that we were in line in as she looked closely at my waste. She was also more than obvious as there were baskets at all of the registers....and then she spoke into her headset as she walked away, obviously communicating to ASSET PROTECTION. This was completely unnecessary as we did nothing suspicious, nor do we look suspicious...we were both dressed very nice. It seems like the only reason we were being watched is because we are people of color. The ironic thing is that I used to work Loss Prevention for a major retailer for over ten years and am a member of the law enforcement community. The team should be embarrassed and ashamed for working in such a biased and pathetic manner. They should also have some form of diversity training. read more
