Came in last night for a few things and realized some of my items were on sale on the target app but ringing up as regular price at the self check out. As I stood there with people waiting for me to hurry up and leave, I couldn't find one single employee to help me - until, Sean - who was doing cart duty at the time, dropped what he was doing and asked me if I needed help. Sean greeted me with a smile, and while I was hesitant to ask for help (since I was buying bras) he didn't make it awkward helping me out. He was fast to help me and get back to his original task. Sean is very professional, hardworking, and friendly. If it weren't for him, I would have given 1 star for having no employees to help self check out. read more

This store is disgusting. I've seen flies, a rat and I'm horrified. How can the store be selling food items when rats are all over the place? Further, the lines are always long- they've not gotten any better. On a Sunday or Saturday, expect to wait 15-30 minutes to check out because there's only 2 cashiers if that. And the self checkouts are usually broken and don't take cash. Starbucks service has gotten better but the rest of the store is complete chaos. The shelves are empty, there's no employees on the floor. There's never any cashiers in the morning. When I've gone in the morning, the people working are usually really rude when I ask to pay at the exchange and return desk. Especially the lady with the pink hair. Always looking unhappy to be there and has a miserable attitude. It makes for an uncomfortable check out experience. read more

I've been looking for a specific item for a couple day, with no luck of ever finding it in the floor. I went to guest services for help finding it since the app states it had 5 in total and there was nothing on the floor. The person at guest services asked someone to check in the back and that person straight up said "I'm not going back there, it's either on the floor or not." After this poor interaction I decided to look harder, Jacob in electronics offered to help me find the item and after a quick back room search he found it! The poor interaction I had with guest services is what affected my star rating 100% but Jacob was amazing and super kind. read more

I just come here when I need to do a quick target run to buy some necessities. It's near my work place so I get to go here. It's smaller than the one over at Capitol Avenue but if you just need the bare necessities, this will do. Probably because other people go to other branches, they do have good selections for the sale rack. The place is clean and they try to keep things in order. By the way, Target sells their medications over the counter cheaper than Walmart or other pharmacy stores. Robitussin is much cheaper here, just saying. This is the worst target! Constantly big lines, they usually only have 1-3 cashiers. Went to buy an item that was locked up and asked a worker, he said he'd call someone, there was another customer around there that had already asked for someone and they never came. I waited for a good 20 minutes before I gave up and ordered it for pickup. This wasn't even during a busy time, I try to avoid this target at all costs, and go to the one on capitol. read more

Rat fell out of from the chilled produce section's overhang at the floor near me. Girlfriend thought I knocked something over but then it moved. It was not in much of a rush and walked maybe 5 feet along the floor against the bottom of the open face cooler. As this all registered, just as I took my phone out it climbed up 6 inches and went under that open face shelving out of site. Moments later we heard a loud sound from the chiller, as if chocking on something, likely not related. Needless to say, I put some celery and salads back. If the rat was on the ground, it could easily gone through all that produce earlier. This was at closing so the service area was dark and not many employees around so I didn't bother to notify anyone as I felt it likely would not be a surprise. read more

I had never done this before but given the Covid-19, I ordered what I needed online (website) and most of the things I was looking for were available. The email said it would take 4 hours but in 1 hour I received a text that my order was ready for pick-up! One of the items wasn't available but I got an email giving me the heads up. I didn't need it that bad so I didn't care. I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! read more

Ever since that ETL with the neckfan quit after holiday season this place has gone to complete hell. He was the only person in the store who cared about the customer. Now it's run by children. Asked a manager if she could get another lane open (Sunday night at 8:00) cause they have the same poor old lady cashiering every day while everyone else hides and slacks off. She said "I'll see what I can do," it took her 15 minutes to lasso someone to another lane and chaos ensued because she didn't break up the line. I've been in line for 23 minutes now at this point. For a company that's boasted record profits for the last 3 years that money has clearly not gone into investing in the "Spread Joy" motto they've touted, it's more like "Spread Misery". Love their drive up! Of course the staff here are so much better and friendlier as compare to the other Target I had been. They are polite and put customer at the first place especially at the customer service counter. These comments are base on my experience to countless of time to different Target location. I usually use their drive up and pick up service, as you can just grab and go! Their drive up use to be very efficient but recently two times of my experience, they seems like short of staff and the wait time can be up to 10mins. I really hope they improve their speed if they were to promote this service. However there is one time they have me wait quite long and it is due to they miss out my order item somewhere else but they compensate me with $10 gift card. I am impress with how they value their customer. Hence I will always tip the drive up stuff which I think they deserve it. I went here on Wednesday, April 5 to take my girls Easter shopping. It turned out to be a bad day for me. I was helping my girls look for sizes in the girls department and in the women's area. Between both departments I misplaced my phone and panicked right away to go search for it. I back tracked many times knowing that whoever is in that area knows I am panicking looking for my phone. I was hopeful that someone would return it to guest services. I even stayed for almost 3 hours in the store returning back and forth to guest services. I left my contact information with Laila who wrote my information on a small piece of paper. One of the guest services person named Daria who is one of the managers was kind enough to walk around each location I passed trying to help me locate it. I asked her if it was possible that we can check to see on the security camera to track the areas I have been and then I can see who could have picked it up. She said, no because the phone is so small the camera would not be able to see it. My husband tried to call it but it would go directly to voicemail meaning that someone was up to no good and knew they had no intentions of returning it. Anyways, my reason for this review is I believe if Target allowed me to see security camera footage of who picked up my phone I could have located the person while they were in the store and got it back. I went back the following day again hoping that I would hear good news that someone returned it. But no luck. To the person with no heart to return my lost phone you have caused me a lot of misery and money to have to get a new one. I am saddened because that is my personal stuff in my phone pictures, text, things that you care nothing about. Thanks for the misery. Update to my review. Around 5:21PM my husband received a phone call from Daria at Target. She left a voicemail saying she remembered the description of my phone and today found it in the lost and found drawer. I called the number back and spoke to her and she said, I can come pick it up. I went to guest services asked a employee if Daria was in and he said, I am sorry I don't know anybody by that name. I wait in line with my kids hoping to see her pass by. When it was my turn at guest services I mention to Jenny if Daria is in? And she looks at me and says there is nobody with that name. I said, she called me and said, she found my phone in the lost and found and said I can pick it up. They open the drawer and hand me my phone after describing it to them. Unsure of the name of the lady who handed it to me. I walked off with my kids happy to be reunited with my phone again. Yay! Then, I notice my phone says there is no SIM card. Ugh!!!! I didn't bother going back to guest services as I was just happy to have it back with all my apps, memorable pictures, contact info, etc. This means only one thing and that is boo to the person that tried for the past two days to try to keep my phone for themselves and connect it to use. OVERALL 3 stars a ok because when I tried to do a return the girl wasn't that nice about it and customer service makes a difference whether I'm buying something or returning it. This is by far the smallest Target location I had ever been to. Also, it's really tough to find parking on busy days. Even with those reasons, I like shopping here because it's not as crowded inside the store. Target is near Island Pacific so that's why there's very few parking spaces. The customer service is okay. This location has definitely changed. I use to be able to just come in and do my shopping and check out in peace. Came in one day to get my newborn an outfit for Fourth of July. Had about 6 items and went to self check out. The lady who was at the self check out made it so uncomfortable for me. She looked into my cart and followed me to my register. She didn't look or follow anyone else who was checking out. She made it very obvious. She stood next to my cart and watched me scan every item. I have never had anyone do that to me. Best to use the Cartwheel app ... to save a lil here and there cause younalways go in for 1 item but end up coming out with a cart of goodies .... I purchased Black Moldy toilet paper yesterday 11/19/2023. This was so disgusting and not sanitary at all. Im not sure if I am supposed to report it to health department or the manufactuer. But I'm very disappointed in the store for not inspecting their products. I trusted them, but now I dont think they care about their customers if they sell Mildy sanitary product. This is not sanitary at all. Not even their bathrooms. The bathrooms are disgusting it has dirty toilets and floor. The bathroom was litered with used toilet paper and used womens feminine products on the floor. There was feces on toilet as well as pee. This is not acceptable. With the high prices we pay they can afford to keep a clean bathroom for its customers. And everything on their shelves should be quality items not moldy disgusting toilet paper and filthy restrooms. Target needs to stop focusing on raising all there prices and focus on keeping its customers safe. read more

Alright, let's start by saying I worked at this target for 11 months. (Worst decision I have ever made). The managers do not care about your mental health. There are so many things I can state about how awful the toxic environment was/is. The way the store is run is absolutely despicable. Firstly, When I first started back in March of 2021 I was told that I would be trained and helped for multiple days. And it ended up being only two days. One of the first weeks they forced me (a new employee) to open the guest services and I do intact of anxiety so I did not know to complete those said tasks. Secondly, We are supposed to take three separate breaks. One 15 minute break After two hours of work. And before our fifth hour we were supposed to take a forty-five minute lunch break. And before the end of our shift another fifteen minute break. As for the first fifteen minute break they were mediocre about giving those said breaks. When it came time for the lunch break they continuously pushed our breaks til 5-10 minutes before we would've violated our fifth hour. They were alright about the last break though. Thirdly, The way they treated their employees when they need help or needed to go to the bathroom was absolutely horrible. They refused to help us or let us go to the bathroom. They disregarded any lack of human kindness. The way they spoke to us was if we were incompetent and didn't understand anything. Fourth, When I had several mental breakdowns they thought it was a joke and they had no decency to even care. On another note they never cared to clean their bathrooms. The bathrooms were always horrible there was feces everywhere and there was urine everywhere. When I had surgery I wasn't allowed to lift more then five lbs due to the stitches. They then forced me to lift a bag of 30lbs of cat litter which caused the stitches to tear four separate times. I have a disability and heart problems and I use an Apple Watch to track my heard rate they sat me down twice giving me two warnings just for checking my heart rate eventually I quit and I am so much happier where I am now. BOTTOM LINE DO NOT WORK OR SHOP AT THIS TARGET! read more

Purchased a collectible online and wanted to return it in its unopened state. Target app indicated that I can return it to a store and the bar code showed up. CS rep tells me they cannot accept returns and confirms with security dude. I told her (and showed her) the app says I can return it. We went through the steps of doing so on the app and...SURE ENOUGH...I *CAN* return it to Target via mail so... Why can't I do it AT THE STORE?! A ridiculous store rule that needs to be re-examined. If the company policy allows for it to happen via the app, the store MUST honor that policy. Now, I have to cross fingers and hope that it doesn't get lost, damaged, broken, etc. (Which are all reasons why in-store returns SHOULD BE HONORED PER COMPANY POLICY.) read more

I ordered the wrong cold medicine for curbside pickup and have my sick autistic son with me. When they brought out alka seltzer fizzy tabs instead of pills I let them known i ordered the wrong thing and asked if I could just return it without going inside. Of course that's not how it works, BUT Carlos said he would ask his manager Robert, and Robert approved a swap for the right item without me having to drag my sick son inside! I have been waiting all day for this medicine and this was the soonest I could get it from anywhere without going in a store. Customer service completely exceeded my expectations, even with them being short staffed! Carlos was so patient and over delivered I am so thankful! This target is barely staffed at all in the evenings. Usually 1 to 2 actual cashiers on registers which Forces you to go to self checkout. Noone to be found on the sales floor in any depts last time I was here. Waited for over an hour for help in electronics and clothing. Reported it to manager Dejan(sp) who would send someone to help. Nobody ever came to help. Let him know on the way out that I was leaving my basket w merch and going elsewhere. He didn't care one bit. Just stared at me. No apologies. No anything. I called corporate offices the next morning. They said we are formally looking into this complaint. It's been 3 week s. Noone ever got back to me. Very sad customer service story.
