Definitely my favorite Target to visit when I am in San Jose. It's clean, and the location that it is in makes things very convenient. I come here mainly for the Pharmacy and the worker Jamal was very nice and helpful. There was a lady who was being helped ahead of me and I'm assuming the prescription for her daughter seemed to be too high so he got the head pharmacist to help her and he was quick to help me out. I really appreciated that since he didn't make me wait. He said he should have it ready in about 15 minutes and they were done filling my prescription right on time! The area not so much, but I think this is a five star Target! I live closer to the Santa Clara store and go out of my way to come to this one. The store has been beautifully remodeled and now plays music. They are always fully stocked, and have significantly lower prices on many items than other locations. They always have plenty of registers open, as well as self checkouts. I've never had any problems with coupons here either. This store did get more carts, but they're the old style ones. read more

* They never ever restock anything during day time. If something is out of stock on the sales floor in the morning, it would remain OOS until the next day/week ( no matter how much stock they have in their storage). I have been to other Target locations in bay area and they are all properly stocked at any point of day. * Similar to restocking, what-sup with never having to find any hand basket at this location? I have never ever seen any hand basket at this store. Again, any other target location in bay area, you always find those baskets. Ordering online and pick up instore is so convenient. There is no minimum order required, you can just order however much you want at anytime. Also, I notice one thing. The online price and in store price ARE NOT THE SAME. The price online are cheaper than the price in store. I checked a few items, the price different is around 5-15%. So ordering online and then pick up in store is recommended, unless you wanna see the item first before buying. read more

I absolutely love this Target! The hours are great, open early and closes very late. The grocery section is pretty small compared to Super Targets on the East Coast with limited produce, but the rest of the store is very nice. The self checkouts always make getting in and out that much faster. The store is always clean, has a Starbucks and a Food Center, and the lines are never long. I usually come here when I fill a prescription every month and shop while I wait for it to be filled. read more

This is by far one of my favorite stores near Downtown San Jose. Its spacious and stocked with a variety of options. The only downside I see at this store is that sometimes, their staff isnt anywhere nearby to talk to. Its like a game of hide and seek. What did I compare this store to? Target in "The Plant". By all means that store isnt bad either but the Coleman Target is open until 10PM. I also am a regular at Walmart but sometimes, one store has items that I prefer over the others. read more

I was in line behind some unfortunate woman who could not afford what she was trying to get. I then see the nicest worker I have ever met, Kc, telling her what she can do and doing his best to help her. He ended up walking her over to customer service where she got assistance. When he got back he immediately apologized me for the wait and started being very friendly, making jokes and being a great employee. I'm the worlds pickiest egg nog drinker.. the only place that carries my only eggnog I'll ever drink is only sold at target... Last weekend I came into target to do some last minute shopping and get their market pantry egg nog... I could not find it anywhere so I walked to to a team member named Javier and asked if he could help me look for it. -emphasizing that it has to be market pantry ones because that's the only one I'll ever drink... He looked for it for me and said that they had some but it was in that back room fridge on a wrapped up pallet.. he said if I could wait a few he could try and get it for me from the pallet.. I told him that's okay it's such a hassle and that it's no big deal but thank you for helping me by going to look for it.. he said if I come back tomorrow (Sunday) they'll all be out of the sales floor. Fast forward to a week later (12/23) I come back to the store because: A) I totally forgot to get the eggnog the next day like he said.. and B) I did some last minute shopping.. I came in and still couldn't find it that damn eggnog.. as I was walking away from the sales floor fridge heart broken, I run into Javier again! I contemplated if I should ask him to help me seeing how crazy busy it was at the store (last minute shoppers like myself haha).. I decided to just ask, as there was no harm in asking... and cuz I really wanted some eggnog lol... I said to him "hi Javier I'm not sure if you remember me.. I came in last week looking for eggnog.. I didn't get any because I didn't want you to go through the hassle of getting them off pallets.. do you know if you guys have it out today?" He literally said "oh hey yea I remember you!! You wanted the market pantry ones right?!" He went to check where they normally would have it but came back empty handed.. he said "it shows we have 7 more in the back somewhere, if you wait a bit I can try to find them for you.." I told him "no it's okay I don't want to take you away from the sales floor, but thank you anyways" He then said "I'll still check anyways I want them out anyways" We said goodbye and I went back to doing my last minute shopping.. while I was shopping I couldn't help but think.. how blown away I was that he remembered what brand of eggnog I wanted... About 35 minutes later as I was grabbing some stuff off the shelves.. As I looked up, I see some guy power walking to me with something in both his hands...it was Javier! He came up to me and said " hey look what I got you".. showed two market pantry eggnogs I wanted... he said to me "I walked around the whole store twice looking for you to give you this.. I was hoping you were still in the store.. I wanted you to leave the store with this eggnog because they discontinued it so this will be the last time we will have it" I almost cried! Not the fact that it was discontinued but the fact that he took the time to find them for me and walked around the store looking for me (knowing there could be a chance I have already left). Javier, you went above and beyond for some random guest when you could have just shrugged your shoulders and gone back to zoning... you are exactly what team members should strive to be! First time coming to this target, wanted to check out the new "disney store" inside this target since it's the nearest one from where I live. It was a cute little area, thought it would be bigger but pretty pleased no complaints. They have a good selection of everything as well as everything else in the store. The bathrooms look new and cleaner then most targets I've gone to. I live in San Bruno so the nearest ones are 3 of them and if you have kids you know how germaphobic you can get when it comes to taking the kids to the bathroom. I always appreciate a clean bathroom, who doesn't? would come back to this target forsure, just a bunch of junkies around the darker it gets in the evening but don't let it ruin your experience in this shopping center. read more

If I can rate this zero stars I most definitely would. This store is the most unorganized store ever. Every manager is not suite for their position and they never have anything in stock. Alejandro is the most disrespectful manager here and is extremely rude. I genuinely cannot believe how he acts towards his employees. Unprofessional. Uninformed. Waste of time. Went to purchase a pair of headphones and asked if they price match. Was told that they do price match amazon as long as it is shipped and sold thru amazon. The item was $80 cheaper on Amazon, so I told them I wanted the headphones. They walked me all the way to guest services, and after waiting in line, was told that they would not price match any item that was sold thru Prime because Prime gives members special deals. They said if the item was sold thru amazon but NOT on prime, that they would honor the price. I ask you, "what items are sold thru amazon that are NOT PRIME???" Yep, absolutely zero. I ask you, "is the price cheaper on amazon if I am not a member of prime?" No chance. Therefore, Target doesn't price match Amazon. Waste of time.
