Worst manager ever here!!!! To the curly haired male manager on Dec 5 at 5pm you are the worst manager ever. He Didn't even listen to me and just apologized with a stupid smirk on his face . He's disgusting. Here's a tip. Don't park your car there!!!! I'm a paying customer. I have proof of that today. My car was parked there for a bit longer because my mom had health issues upon leaving. So we didn't bother moving our car. There are NO signs saying how long we have to park there!!! What inconsiderate piece of you know what he is for doing that to me today . One star. I won't be going back to this Target. I stopped by the Wilshire/16th location and just trying to do a quick self-checkout like usual. But after scanning all my items and getting to the final one (alcohol), I was told I couldn't complete the purchase because ID scans are no longer allowed at self-checkout. Apparently I needed to check out again at a different register just for that item. No signs at the merchandise display mentioned this, no question prompting this on scan of the first item, and when I asked about it, the employee claimed this store policy had been in place for a month. That's simply not true - I was in this same store a week and a half back and had my ID scanned at self-checkout without an issue. So either the policy changed very recently with no notice to customers, or the employee was misinformed - either way, it felt like I was being lied to. Beyond that, the overall shopping experience is not great. Three employees in the kitchen items aisle were swearing and casually dropping F-bombs while chatting with each other. Most of the products including adult toothpaste (not the kids') are locked behind acrylic like it's a high-security vault. Prices are inflated (e.g., $5 for a bag of Doritos), the bathrooms are locked, and the entire environment feels unfriendly and unwelcoming. Target has basically shifted all the labor to customers without passing along any of the savings - and now adding more friction to the process. read more

T is for Target, that's good enough for me! This location is small so don't expect to find everything you usually find on Target. For example, there are no baby clothes. If you are in the area I recommend you stop here because the store is brand new, nice, clean, and very organized. It is not busy at all during the morning. They have self checkout counters and free parking. I live nearby and this location is convenient. Bought a new face wash, face cream, $0.89 pasta (what a great deal!), diced tomatoes, and a women's jacket ($35). I was looking for the Vaseline spray moisturizer but unfortunately they didn't have it here. I'll probably visit this location many times in the future since it's a walking distance from where I live. read more

This is the smallest City Target I've been in (even the West LA one is bigger) but what I needed was in stock. NO children's clothing section, minimal women's and men's and there is literally one jewelry/sunglasses rack. No Starbucks, either. Come here for food, cosmetics, cards or over the counter needs. They have a sizable houseware section and plastic planters (of all random things). It's clean and the service was great. Small parking spots, too. read more

Parking here is severely limited. There is probably space for 8 cars outside the entrance and then if you dare to go down into their dark little parking garage there are probably 25 spaces down there. I took one look at that lot and went back up to park outside the entrance as it seemed like the safer option. As I was leaving a mentally unstable person was walking down the street yelling at no one in particular - just be aware of your surroundings, especially at night if you are alone. It is a very small store but does seem to have a lot of inventory and a lot of associates working there and visible in the aisles. Nobody will say hello to you or offer you any assistance but should you approach one of them they are then helpful. read more

Have you heard of mini-skirts? Well this is a mini-Target... If it was any smaller it would be a 7-Eleven. I love ordering things on my computer on Target .com and I come here and pick it up. They have a free underground parking lot. Last time I was here there was a crazy guy walking all over the parking lot trying everyone's door to see if it was open and yelling a lot. So lock your doors here--otherwise it's not a bad area. It is a new store and one of the few with a designed in pick-up area so that is good. Beats the other older stores where the pickup stuff is all over the place--before online pickup became popular. Now don't come here and ask for the automotive or gardening department. It's a mini-mini Target so they they don't have that. They only have one of everything here in just one color and size--it's like the old Soviet Union. (Just kidding.) They do have a bike lock-up outside the main entrance and I have also biked over to pick-up. Lock your bike good here even for a short time--high bike theft area. I was torn between 3 and 4 stars because I honestly don't know what criteria to rate this Target with. The store location is great! I haven't interacted with the employees much, so no comment on customer service. The parking situation is awful. I drive a mid size SUV, and I have to park in two spots in the tiny parking garage. Most of the spots seem extra compact, and there aren't even that many spots to begin with. The store is clean and well organized. When I first visited this Target, I didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be like the location in West LA on Santa Monica Blvd, which is already tiny for Target standards. This one is even tinier! I would call this like a Target Express or something. Every section of the store is super compact. They don't have the usual selection of bulk items (like paper products, household essentials, feminine hygiene, baby diapers, etc.). I do still shop at this Target if I'm in the area because it's so convenient, but I wouldn't count on finding items that aren't the most popular in their category. One huge benefit of this location is if you live in the area and you don't want to drive all the way to a bigger Target to return something. read more

I only went to buy a bottle of Tylenol for a headache BUT here's where my Target experience went bad: I needed to use their restroom, which required a code to get into so I flagged down an employee and he opened the door for me. As I went in, he said, "Be sure to lock the door behind you" which I thought was weird because nobody should be able to get in without the code anyway. This made me a little nervous, so I double checked to make sure that I turned the deadbolt the correct way. After making sure the door was locked, I sat down to do some "business" when suddenly, the door flew wide open without any warning whatsoever with a female Target employee who saw me then ran off in embarrassment WITHOUT EVEN CLOSING THE DOOR BEHIND HER! I had to pull up my pants enough to do a little hunchback shuffle to reclose and lock the door. After I was finished, I grabbed a security guard so that we could test if I had somehow failed to lock the door or if the deadbolt was faulty. Sure enough, I had locked the door but it does ABSOLUTELY NOTHING if the door is opened from the outside! So not only does this store need to fix their doors so that the deadbolt actually LOCKS them, but they really need to let their staff know to KNOCK before opening the bathroom doors! I did find a cheap bottle of store brand Tylenol though, and that took care of my headache. read more

Wow and I thought the closer Target on Santa Monica blvd was bad, this one was even worse. They didn't have their own lots, behind them is UCLA health, and a bunch of street meters but watch out for that ticket enforcement person, he was driving around as I arrived, luckily all the meters are free after 6 PM, so I only spent a few coins. Talking about the inside of this place, if the other one was Walgreens, this one has the Whole Foods vibe, lots of produces, mixed bags of toys, electronic department not even worth mention, they had tvs lining up next to clothings, maybe those are Black Friday items, I don't got a clue here, but I decided to go back to my car instead, sigh. I was looking for outdoor items and three employees couldn't tell me whether or not they were carried in the store. They all said they were new, so I don't know if it was new hire day or what but none of them could tell me if the store had an Outdoor section. These kinds of Targets shouldn't even be considered City Targets - each of these new westside pop ups is basically a glorified CVS and it's extremely frustrating they keep putting them up around Santa Monica when what we need is an actual Target! If you need clothes or actual home goods, forget it. The underground parking situation is a little snug, and the ramp up to the street is kind of dangerous for pedestrians when you're pulling out, so be careful. read more

The store is a hit or miss. Typically has what I'm looking for, but the selection of clothing and shoes is scarce. I enjoy the drive up option, just to avoid the long lines. I was provided excellent customer service by Target representative Cirilo (aka Siri) today. Target's fitting room is closed due to Covid and I became concerned about a few items I wanted to purchase since could not learn if they fit or not. I was informed any item that did not fit could be returned, to simply bring in my receipt. I did, in fact, return later with a few items that did not fit and Cirilo again assisted. He was professional, helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this Target location based primarily upon the experience he was able to create. read more

I went in on 8-17-22, at 5:00, went with my 90 year old mother, walked in, not from around here and trying to get around the store, got almost everything on our list, then I needed a pair of reading glasses, which I did not know where they were. located. I Asked the girl in front of the doors, standing at a computer and asked her kindly, "Excuse me mam, can you direct me to the reading glasses section? "She did not LOOK UP at me or my mother and just raised her arm and pointed with her finger to the area, I could not see the area she was pointing at and she yelled loudly, Over there! I was appalled at her behavior, disgusted how TARGET would hire someone so RUDE, and NASTY. I think she was security or something, but everyone else was nice, BUT NOT HER! My review is solely based on the young security guard that was working the shift tonight. I didn't catch his name but I believe he needs to be reminded to be professional and to show some concern about people's safety. I was on my way to the underground parking garage after completing my shopping (it was about 8:30pm-8:40pm) and this man who was visibly agitated and upset walks through the front entrance while shouting a few words. The security guard notices him and tells him that he can't be in the store (I'm guessing he's familiar with him already based on his reaction). The guy then makes his way down the stairs to the garage. I wait a minute and go up to the security guard to ask him if he thinks it's safe to go downstairs into the garage. The security guard then looks away, chuckles and replies, "yeah it's safe". I'm sorry but was there something funny about my question? Because I certainly didn't think I asked anything funny. I asked my question because I was concerned for my safety! It was a very annoying and disappointing experience/interaction to say the least. If you're going to work as a security guard and wear your security shirt that clearly spells security in large letters across the chest, please act like one. I really hope a store manager reads this or someone from corporate. read more
