When the General Manager, Josh Marty, stepped in to assist, the experience quickly became uncomfortable. Rather than providing helpful customer service, he was dismissive, rude, and made me feel like asking for assistance was an inconvenience. As a loyal customer, I did not deserve to be treated with such a degrading attitude. What was even more concerning was witnessing the way he interacted with his own employees. In front of customers, he repeatedly spoke to his team in a belittling and disrespectful manner. The employees remained professional, kind, and eager to help despite the way they were being treated. It was genuinely upsetting to watch. A General Manager should set the standard for professionalism, communication, and customer service. Unfortunately, this interaction reflected the opposite. His behavior created an uncomfortable environment not only for me but also for the other customers nearby. I sincerely hope West Elm addresses this matter. The employees I encountered deserve far better leadership, and customers deserve to feel welcomed and respected when they shop.

I've been wanting to purchase a new couch for years, but I could never find what I was looking for. Not only that, but there are so many online sites with couches that I can't see in person, let alone sit on and feel the fabric. After searching for months online, I finally found Sofa Club through Yelp. I showed up once and talked to the owner. She helped me think about dimensions, material, color, etc. I went home and did some measurements in my home and came back a few weeks later to design it in person with her. I sat on couches, felt different materials, and found the most beautiful fabric on one of their swatches. It only took 8 days to create and deliver my couch. It's incredibly comfortable, I love the style, fabric and color. And it was a little over 2k, which I think is perfectly reasonable for the quality, materials and care that went into making this couch. Admittedly, I was a hard customer to service. The store offered delivery to our home for around $100, on a weekday that worked for you. There was a miscommunication between me and the store manager. I thought that they were going to delivery my furniture on a Wednesday, so I took the day off of work. When I realized on the day, that the manager and I had misunderstood each other, I was pretty angry but he stayed completely accommodating and courteous. Very professional. He even offered to arrange delivery to my house over the weekend, so that I wouldn't have to take another day off from work. I would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for unique and timeless pieces.

They're constantly changing up their inventory and they have a really great mix of plants and pots, furniture, books, classic vinyl, candles, and knickknacks galore. Owner Anton and his wife Lina are super cool, and the no matter what day you go in Myrene or Veronica or any of the other staff are always there to go above and betond.
