I want to recognize and acknowledge one employee who works here, named Midori. I recently came into target with a list of items to purchase. Like any one who shops here, I normally never get what I need because there's just so much to see and get! One thing that was on the top of my list was a waffle maker cause mine broke. I went to approach Midori, who was working at the kitchen section and she was nothing but sweet and helpful! I was overwhelmed with the selection of waffle makers they got and Midori was able to help me find what was best for me. She recommended me a waffle maker that she personally uses at home and she loved it, so I had to get it. She even helped direct me to where the other items on my list were and even checked to see if any were in stock. Target is a big store and I am grateful to have met such an employee like Midori. read more

Came here for the first time after the remodel. Was looking forward to getting a drink (soda) and maybe a snack and walking around. I was extremely disappointed to see they had completely removed the cafe/food up front. They didn't even replace it with a Starbucks- completely gone. The remodel is beautiful, and much needed. Some of the selection has been paired down (guessing due to lack of demand). I'll probably be driving to Renton or Bellevue next time. read more

This store has poor customer service , and also misleading advertisement for Verizon wireless on approval of credit for IPhone 11 your suppose to get a 200 dollar Target gift card per new line activation. It needs to mention that I Targets escalating department has to approve it as well. If Target is unable to approve you when Verizon approved you for service also leaves from hard to soft inquiry that effects your credit score. I talked to the actual store Manager she didn't care at all she said there was nothing she could do for me. This was a stressful waiste of time and it wasn't the kind a Service that did everything they could to keep you as a customer in so many words they showed me that I wasn't appreciated as a customer and my business was no longer valued. read more

I used to go to this Target all the time when I lived in the area and it really hasn't changed much at all. Oddly enough, I actually mean that as a compliment as I half expected it to be more run down and in need of repair but, other than a slightly different layout it was exactly as I remember it to be. If you've ever been to a Target, you know what these stores are all about. You can buy just about anything here including clothes, groceries, electronics, toys, and greeting cards. They have gift registries, a decent customer service counter, and a standardized food service quick stop right at the entrance. I have avoided Target for nearly a year. It lost its appeal to me. But, I did decide yesterday to go in for somethings specific and found other items as well. I was able to walk right up to a checkout clerk who seemed a bit bored with the job and not customer service friendly. After getting home I find a bag of cookies wasn't with me. Didn't find in the car, rechecked every bag I brought in and no cookies. Very disappointing. They clearly were charged on the receipt and everything else was there, plus I really wanted to try them! Normally I love Target, but I just was on hold for over 20 mins and got disconnected twice just to put an item on hold. The lady who answered the phone was very nice, but whoever was working in electronics was horrible! They didn't answer the phone at all (was transfered twice) how busy can you be at 11am on a Thursday afternoon and maybe Target should give their stores a little more payroll so they can staff adequately. If this wasn't the only place that carried waterproof cameras I would definitely shop somewhere else. read more

Bought a paw patrol bike for my son for Christmas on my way home from work. Got home opened the box to put it together and inside was a busted used bike that obviously wasn't what it was supposed to be. Somebody obviously returned it and put this bike in there and sealed it back up. I drove 35 minutes back to southcenter from enumclaw thinking they would make things right because of how ridiculous this was. I get there and the first person who is called up is the security guard. Telling me it's not their responsibility once it leaves the store. Gives me a number for customer service and the customer service guy calls the store. Then the manager comes over ( I think her name was mindy) and she's says "That's not even the same bike". Yes that is the reason I'm here then she proceeds to check the security cameras of me buying the bike for whatever reason. And then comes back and hands me my receipt without saying anything. The customer service guy comes back on the phone telling me he is very sorry and that the store has the power to make things right but he cannot force them to. So I got a case number from him and I have to call corporate tomorrow. Horrible customer service from the manger ( I'm assuming assistant because of her lack of basic customer service skills) the security guard had better customer service skills than she did. Really upset because my 2 year old already saw the box and was saying bike daddy. I was gonna put it together and give it to him early. But because of this store and the managers unwillingness to try and make things right I have to spend more time and energy on trying to get my money back and or exchanged. I almost wanted to buy another one of the bikes after they wouldn't give me a new one just to show them I'm not trying to scam them. Worst Target I've ever been in. Unfortunately it's the closest. Really unhelpful checkers. I bought allergy medicine one Time (target brand) it rang up $7 more than priced. I let the checker know, she called a "supervisor" who looked at it, said "I don't know" my husband grabbed it and went to check himself because obviously they weren't going to check. A pharmacy person double checked for us and walked up front to let them know it was priced wrong and we were right. My daughter was stung by a bee earlier and I was getting it for her. It was VERY IRRITATING. I always get the best help in the Pharmacy. It always stinks like vomit (my kids words and I agree) . I drive to west Seattle or The Landing in Renton now. read more

This review is for the pizza Hut inside target. Horrible horrible customer service. The food is very greasy and it's super dirty. The floor is sticky, tables aren't cleaned so if people leave their trash it just sits there. The guy behind the counter was too busy flirting as well so there was a long line with one register open. I've tried to make purchases in this store in the past, but it seems futile. Today in particular was the last straw. To start, the team members have zero desire to acknowledge the existence of any guest. I walked by several, looked them in the face, and they either scurried down an aisle or just looked away. Great. By some miracle, the store had what I needed in stock. I grabbed them and headed to the front. I was next in line at the only check out open. The lady wanted to argue prices. Another girl comes up to check out and proceeds to take the women in line BEHIND me. RUDE. When I try to get her attention, she follows the standard procedure for this store and ignored me. The other guest just unloaded her cart and refused to look me in the face. Adorable. I should have thrown the frozen food on the floor. Instead I walked all the way back and put them away. Why waste them? Again, ignored by everyone who works in this pit. I also should have talked to a manager. I even almost called in my car in the parking lot. But do they care? Does anyone there care? Doubt it. Just another guest complaint. Who cares about my $30 purchase when some other poor dummy will throw $200 down on crap to decorate their house, or $500 to outfit their spawn. I'm an idiot for trying to shop here. Don't be like me. Avoid at all costs. Make the extra trip to the Target in Renton at the Landing if you have to go to Target. Or, better yet, be willing to pay $1 more and go to a completely different store than this Walmart wannabe. read more

Was not impressed with this location. My husband and I were followed around the store purposefully by two employees. They kept talking on their radio's back and forth to each other LOUDLY mentioning what we were wearing and mocking my choice in boots. Excuse me, I wasn't aware that this was the red carpet, though the store is awfully red. Lately every Target store pretty much looks the same to me. I want to hurry, get what I need, and get going. Targets are always very sterile and bright. Every once in a while I see a very cute houseware product that I love. This big-box store is a great place to stock up on necessities at a great price. Things like hair care, cleaning products and vitamins are a good price and always well-stocked. On this trip, I couldn't resist the gimongo size bottles of shampoo and conditioner! read more

As someone who has worked for this company you cant pay me to shop here anymore. This store is always clean in the morning but rarely gets cleaned in the afternoon. No one takes care of the restrooms and everyone is treated poorly. They are good about getting people out to breaks and lunches but the attitudes here are horrible. I took a seasonal job here to earn some extra cash and I could not be more disturbed by this store. There are a few managers who are aboslutley horrible to not only employees but guests as well. There is also no training for any departments. If you come to shop here dont bother asking anyone for help because your going to get the worker in trouble. Target is not about the guest experience believe it or not because they dont want you helping anyone. The employees who work stock room are forced to work as fast as they can to extremely unrealistic expectations of speed. Nothing is organized and half the time things are not put back where they go. I wont spend another dime here again. employees and guests deserve better., ladies who work guest service are rude but the management made them that way. People say innapropriate things on the radios which get annoying. workers are treated like prisoners. No one helps anyone out. Orders are barked like commands. Your expected to work out a full pallet or cart of merchandise in 20 minutes while helping guests. nothing is organized. Everyone is burnt out. turnover rate here is high. managment doesnt give a crap about anyone. read more

What can you say about Target? This location is very near South Center Mall and of course offers parking and all that jazz. I like Target. They just get better day by day by providing interesting products and maintaining quality of products. It's apparent that they are picking every single item to put on their shelves and that's great. You as customer don't feel that the store is busy but you feel you can find something good each time you go there. I have always pleasant experience with their refund department. I just bought a new flat screen TV today and the service was perfect. I was greeted and asked if I needed assistance after I was browsing the display of TVs in the electronics department. No mention of the fact I was barefoot. The employee rang up my purchase and had someone load my new TV into my truck all within 20 minutes. Came back an hour later to buy some DVDs and shopped around for a little over an hour. This Target is my favorite in the Seattle area. The service is outstanding, the lines at the checkstand are rarely long, and the floors are always so shiny and bright. I used to shop at the West Seattle store but was refused service and asked to leave because I didn't have shoes on :/ read more

The selection is here is like any other target. I do notice they don't tend to fill holes until a customer asks. I really wanted to give this place 3.5 stars instead of 3. This store also has problems double charging their customers. My friend and I go there often and he's been double charged several times for a full purchase. And I've been doubled charged by several items. So if you go here, please double check your receipt before you leave. read more

We bought a bunch of back to school supplies from this store and by accident we left a backpack behind. We called the next day when we realized what happened and this target told us they had our backpack and they would hold it for us and put our name on it. We go to get the backpack and apparently someone took the name-tag off it and resold it. Not only is this unprofessional, it's illegal. They are offering a free refund but they made 60$ of 1 backpack because they sold it twice, very disappointed. Taking two profits for one backpack, I've never seen anything like this IN MY LIFE. We got a refund and they best they could do was 3$ off.. All 60 dollars technically belonged to us seeing as you did sell our backpack and the best you could do is 3$ off???? read more

Shopping at Target can be fun, they have some good deals and prices. However the customer service here is TERRIBLE. I went yesterday to buy a couple of items at the electronics department. The employees were chatting with eachother, i stood there for a good several minutes until one of them asked if theres something i needed help with. ( I was standing in line at the counter, hoping to be able to pay). and I said "yes i would like to pay for these 2 items. After what clearly seemed like I was inconveniencing the employees, he slowly started scanning my items, I let him know that I have a couple of E-gift cards which he can scan off of my phone ( I have used these many times at this Target store as well as online with no problem). He seemed annoyed, didn't wanna accept the card. He had an issue scanning it once, im guessing due to low brightness of my phone screen, his coworker let him know if scanning doesnt work he can type in the access code or whatever comes with the e-gift card. He wasn't willing to work with it, and seemed annoyed. So I suggested that I'll just go pay at the front cashiers. And he agreed. I get it if he had a sense of urgency due to other customers waiting in line behind me, but i was the only customer there. And he didn't really want to help, just wanted to go back to socializing with his coworkers. Terrible service. I would rather stick to self checkout or will shop online. Some of your employees are too full of themselves and act entitled and I feel like as a customer I have to accomodate to THEIR needs. Pass. read more

I don't know if I have bad luck or what, but this target location is terrible. I've experienced it before but...Today I went in and the shelves looked like they had been ransacked by a swarm of god knows what. The shoes were all completely disorganized and slung all over the place. Sometimes couldn't find the other shoe to a pair. The juniors section is now tiny and was also completely disorganized. Hangers had the size tags missing. I couldn't find a matching top and bottom in 80% of the swim suits, not to mention that they were all tangled together due to the strings hanging down (lazy restocking much?) They only had one type of strapless bra in their entire selection and they only had B cups and like DDD cups, no in between. The purse that I wanted looked as if it had been run over by a cart when I examined it closer. Needless to say I purchased nothing from the clothing/bag section. Then into the pet section, they had one super beat up box of canned cat food left in my brand that was slightly too big for the shelf it was jammed on to, so when I pulled it out, all of the price signs on that shelf flew off onto the ground. This store operates as though it is held together by Spit and glue. The only consolation to my experience was the nice guy in line who offered me his coupon to scan, but my gratitude was short lived as the cashier couldn't get it to work on my transaction. I don't care, keep your 5 dollars, I just wanted to get the hell out of that blistering hellscape as soon as I could. read more

I was in this store with my boyfriend on Friday, December 16th and had a horrible experience with a couple of the staff members there. We had gone in because the store was advertising a sale on toys and games. If you spent $100 you would get $25 off. We picked out the things we wanted and went to check out. We had well over the $100 amount and the coupon wasn't working. The cashier helping us was super awesome and she had a manager come over and she was having trouble figuring it out as well. Finally she thought that the Lego dimensions we were buying didn't count towards toys/games. We didn't agree with that because the coupon never stated that video GAMES were excluded. Another manager came over and she seemed very scared and nervous for some reason. Then all of a sudden the security guard came over for who knows what reason and was trying to tell us that the coupon wasn't going to work on the lego dimensions. For one he's the security guard and there was absolutely no reason for him to come over. The manager couldn't handle the situation and was intimidated by my boyfriend he wasn't yelling or anything and the manager looked like she was going to cry. The only reason the security guard came over was because the cashier (again who was wonderful) was an older woman and my boyfriend is a man. If it had just been me complaining that security guard wouldn't have come over or if the cashier had been a man. The manager shouldn't be a manager if she can't handle customers. We shop at target a lot but we really don't want to after this experience. The coupon should have clearly stated excludes video games and it did not! When you go to Fred Meyer the exclusions are clearly stated. We were very offended that a security guard came over to try to bully us! Will definitely not be going back to this location. read more
