Target is one of my favorite stores to shop at. I can usually find just about anything I need. This location is very busy because it's right on Colorado blvd. They just recently within the last year or so remodeled the store. So, now it's a Super Target. One thing that I love about Target is I usually ever had to wait in line. They have at least 20 lanes of cashiers and almost always have plenty of people scheduled. read more

As others have mentioned, all Targets are pretty much the same. And I hate that I love them. But what makes this particular Target worth mentioning, IMO, is that it never seems to be packed, as other stores often are. This has been the case ever since the much larger Target at the Landing in Renton opened (I dunno, maybe 7 or 8 years ago, now?). Now the Landing Target is always busy, day or night, any day of the week, and it can be a pain in the butt to park there, not mention getting in and out of the store. So, if you live close to both Target stores, as I do, and you want to make it a more relaxed and quicker shopping experience, choose Southcenter ! Pretty solid Target. Standard prices, pretty clean store, and moderately friendly staff. The shelves are always well stocked. It's a great location, pretty close to where I live. The place seems to be a little older, but it is pretty well maintained. I don't know what else you would ask for. You can usually find me here at least once a week shopping for toiletries, electronics, eggs or clothes. My only complaint would be that the parking lot could be better lit. I feel like trying to find parking at this location is a frightening couple of minutes because no one in this town knows how to look before they reverse. SLASH use a turn signal. My least favorite Target store. Poorly arranged IMO, hard to navigate - full of cheap clothing made in China for slim bodies. I've learned that when I have to go to this particular store I need to take a photo of the item on the rack with the barcode visible because too many times the price is different at the check out - always more. CS tells me to go back to the item, take a better picture, then come stand in line again. I'll drive out of my way & go to another location. read more

Pretty traditional target. The best part about this one is the ample parking and nearby mall. The worst part about this one is the limited ways to get to the parking and the nearby mall. I'm not really a huge fan of Target, but this store is usually clean and sufficiently stocked. Overall, just a decent place to stop when you need to pick something up. Have to take a star away. Went to Target this morning and had some heavier items in my cart (cat litter and a crock pot). Cashier watched me struggle to get the items out of my cart (I only have one arm) and she says nothing. After she rings me up, I asked if she could put the cat litter and crock pot in my cart for me as it was awkward for me to do it. She wouldn't do it. Said she was pregnant. So, she stood there staring at me rubbing her stomach while I struggled to get them back in my cart. Fine. You're pregnant and maybe your doctor has put you on light duty but then don't be a damn cashier. I needed help and you just stood there and stared at me while I struggled. Go to a different department or you should've opened your mouth and told me BEFORE I even tried to take the stuff out. Unfortunately this is the closest Target to my house but I will remember that cashier and will never go through her line again. read more

The new layout and concept is awful. Hard to find items, and they don't stock as much anymore of clothing and accessories, apparently because it's supposed to be a "boutique" look. Very disorganized in the baby section as well. You'll think the whole area is clearance cuz it's so random and messy. Why did they even bother remodeling the store. A pretty good Target. It's by the mall, so you will get the middle schools being all cool and hanging out. But besides that... I can't say there's anything special about this Target but parking is easy and you don't have the inconvenience of the two levels like in Northgate. read more

I came to pick up the Nintendo Pro Controller since this location states they have them in stock. The sales clerk checked on his device of inventory and said there should be some in the store. He then looked on the shelf (where I looked 5 mins earlier) and stated he had to help his manager real quick before he can check the stock in the back for me. I guess customers don't come first?! After waiting, they have absolutely none on hand. Obviously their inventory is wrong. Is anyone even doing their job correctly? I understand Target went on a renovation spree but the new set up is chaotic. There are displays in the middle of walkways. If there are ever any emergencies, customers would definitely run into the displays. Never coming back to this location. read more

The consumer​ was not right and store right this time. You be the judge of this action. I found several sleeping bags on shelves that marked down to clearance with the prices above and below them that said, $19.95 and way on top marked $39.95. , with larger sleeping bags and there were small ones below it. They didn't bother to check if the customer was right or wrong they kept insisting that all clearance has tags on them, I told the person in charge your sign said, "clearance, prices marked down at $19.95." So I told her you're manipulating your customers. She told me that I don't have to buy it, other words I refused to give you the exact right. This place is deceiving their customers with their prices marked down. My point is you do the right thing for your customers, correct your mistake and stop covering up and misleading your customers. In fact, they didn't have any extended covers, and their bath section in general was pretty lacking. This Target Store is an average one. Most of the Target stores have usually the same things in the store, but in different places inside. This one is cleaner then the other ones I've been too and the staff are pretty helpful. Would recommend and come back when near. read more

This Target is fine. Clean and bright, well-stocked, and short checkout lines. Friendly employees and plenty of carts and baskets. Considering how much stuff they have stocked in this store, however, it feels a bit cramped. The store itself isn't that big, so it feels like they have tried to cram a lot of items into a smaller than normal space. This used to be my go to Target. It was the closest one to me. But it seems that now with so many other around, they are slacking on maintaining inventory. I know it's a very popular location with it being so close to the mall, but I would think that the management would do a better job with keep the shelves stocked. Can anyone really say something bad about Target!? They prices are very reasonable, they're open late and I always find myself walking out with more than I intended to buy! As many times as my wife and I have been to Target, I can honestly say I don't have any memories of "poor customer service" or "dissatifaction" with anything I've bought. This Target is located across the street from Southcenter mall. This location also has a pharmacy which is cool! I can drop off my prescription, do a little shopping across the way and come back to pick it up. The only thing this place can do to improve is to replenish their cart sanitizing wipes more often. Everytime i'm there, they're out. I have to use my sanitizing gel in my purse to sanitize the carts. read more

Target is Target. Everything that you need .. and didn't need .. or didn't know you needed at good prices. Food, pharmacy, clothing, housewares, electronics, seriously EVERYTHING you need and then some await you behind the magical red bullseye. Clean, service is always quick and you don't have to deal with questionable ... patrons cursing each other out for no reason. Yes we had that experience at another major retail spot which I'll leave unnamed. Sidenote: You know you spend too much time and money at Target when the workers know you by first name and pull you out of line so you can get out faster. This store is nothing special when it comes to the lexicon of target stores. It's bigger than some of the other ones in the area but it's still plagued with low staffing, messy aisles and sub par customer service. I once even had a worker claim to be the store manager when I was inquiring why my return was taking so long to process. Items displayed such as toasters, have none available for purchase, garbage bags are hard to find things that are listed above on the map aren't in the actual spot such as nose tissue, that's clear over by the Ziploc bags for some reason. The original floor plan was such an enjoyable experience to shop and, this one is stressful and add it on that you could never find anybody to help you you're wandering in aimless circles. read more

Asking an employee on the floor If they price matched amazon, and she said yes they did, as long as it was shipped by amazon. Great, took it to the cashier and they said that customer service could only price match and they were already closed! They only announced a five minute warning that they were closing and I was in line for those five minutes waiting to check out. Poor customer service, one person says one thing, another person says something different. Just a poor experience, the cashier just kept saying "I don't know", it was the most unprofessional experience. read more

This target store was pretty spread out with the front lanes and cafe and all the other aisles. I haven't been to this Target store in AGES!! It was a good moment to come back and shop here again. The women I believe her name was Kathrina or something like that presented me great guest service with a smile at the express lane. I saved 5% with my Target card and left the store satisfied. In spite of the fact that this store is the state of a major remodel I found it to be amazing. I went for two simple items.....paper plates and cottage cheese...the selection was overwhelming...a complete aisle of any kind and size of plates you could imagine. The grocery department was like an enhanced Trader Joe's. I like the fresh products they had like interesting salad blends and cheeses. I was so impressed by these two departments that I just had to cruise the rest of the store. Great displays of the latest trendy home décor items as well as ordinary utility items. A fun place to get inspiration and ideas and purchase items at great prices. It was great to experience a Target store in the big city. The store in my hometown is nice but this huge in Seattle store provided a unique experience! read more

This morning I was in your 301 Strander Blvd, Tukwila, WA 98188 location with my 8 year old son and 9 year nephew. I was at this location to purchase an expensive home warming gift and other items.i noticed out of the corner of my eye that someone was staring at me and the two youngster with me. I tried to ignore and we moved on. Every where we went this person stayed with us for over 5 mins. I decided to ask this person if he was an employee. He told me no. I went over to ask another employee to speak with a manager he then pointed to the person who has been following us through out the store. I them walked over to your manager and asked him his deal.. he would not answer. In asked him his name. He told me he was not allowed to give it to me. The gentleman still would not stop gazing at my son and nephew saying that "he was just waiting for us to steal so he could throw our white trash ass out". I frequently shop at this target and I have never stole a thing in my life. This gentleman needs to visit a doctor of some sort and should be fired the way he treated my family. Other shoppers were there looking on in disbelief. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I want to know now what your company is going to do about this before I call police. read more

Very (cheap, low quality, sketchy, no class). My family has been noticing a steady decline in product quality over the years, & how they manage to never have anything we're looking for, aside from dried shallots. This particular Target is older & grodier than the fairly new one in Federal Way, but at least they can claim to be better than Tuesday Morning. Their merchandise is every bit as cheap, tacky, & flimsy as Walmart's; another store I'd rather not be seen in. You want PC games? They barely have em. You want an indoor mini grill? They don't carry those anymore. You want bathroom decorations? Hope you like their tiny selection of tacky plastic. You want christmas ornaments? Hope you're satisfied with cheap looking plastic & styrofoam. You want clothes? They haven't carried any nice looking ones in over 15 years. & having to look at that bright cinnabar wall paint causes eyestrain. The stuff here is so awful that it will send you screaming to more expensive places like Pier One, Bed Bath & Beyond, & World Mart. I recommend locating the nearest Fred Meyer. They're more expensive, but they give auto-discounts from their coupon papers before you pay them, senior citizen discounts, & the money you spend goes into credit for gas discounts. read more
