I'm so regular of a Target shopper that I don't wear red and khaki together. The layout of the store is nice and the grocery section was well stocked. But boy howdy, this is the slowest checkout area I've witnessed during a non-holiday time. Wanted a frozen dinner rather than eat out and snacks to take back to my hotel room. The self checkout was long but seemed to move at a decent pace. I don't use self checkout because, hey, I'm not on Target's payroll. There were at least three lines open but they were slow as molasses. What was going on up there? The line next to mine had the flashing "help" line so I was thankful not to be in that line. My line wasn't any faster though. After three minutes without moving a step, I put my items on the check stand next to me and walks out. Someone announced that they were short staffed. I don't know that they were short staffed so much as absurdly slow. read more

On a rare day, I checked out with a cashier. The cashier bagged my items into two separate bags but I didn't realize it until I got home and saw that my pecans and makeup setting spray were missing. I was so frustrated because it was such a far drive and I thought, "ugh what am I gonna do now." The next morning, I called customer service and spoke to a woman named Suzanne who assured that I can just bring in my receipt to collect the missing items. When I got to the store, it was so easy to restore my missing items. The person who helped me made it so simple. Thanks! read more

Why have only 4 self check outs if you are never going to have employee check out lanes open? One item and the line took forever.

LOL when I said this place needed some work done inside, I definitely didn't mean to turn it into a K-Mart lookalike!!! This entire place is laid out so stupid now, it's impossible to find anything, and the flow of the store makes no sense. All the decor and finishes they installed looks super cheap. I've seen multiple other remodeled locations and they look more high end - this one is just...even sadder now. The entrance is super overwhelming, too much chaos and randomness - if more than like three people enter the store at the same time they can't even walk by the displays! You can no longer walk through the center of the store, you have to walk around a huge island of nonsense. Ya'll should give out maps. Treasure maps would be cool like yay you survived this Target location and maybe found one of the items you needed - you get a prize! read more

Overall a pretty average Target that has all the things you'd expect to find here. This store is clean and well organized. Check out is another matter. Often times the cashiers are slow and there aren't even close to enough of them to meet demand. Wish they'd put self-checkouts in here, it'd definitely make things flow faster! read more

Confusing!!! The checkout is in a tiny corner of the store and the entrance has low doors. It is difficult to see which way you go to check out. I literally relive my nightmares of being stuck in a building with no exits every time I come here. It's difficult to find a store employee to help you find something too. The layout just doesn't make sense either compared to other target stores. That being said, this location feels bigger than others so there is more merchandise. The parking lot is also huge and secluded so that makes shopping here easier. read more

First of all, the person who designed the women's bathroom in this target was definitely not a person that ever had to change a diaper. Because seriously wtf. You walk in and the changing station is directly across from the door. To your right and left, behind you, are stalls and immediately to the right and left are sinks. A couple inches away from the changing table on the right is one of the only (the only?) paper towel dispensers. There is a VERY LOUD blow dryer on the opposite side. So basically your kid is twisting all over the place trying to see everyone, people are reaching over you to get paper towels, and then your kid jumps because the blow dryer scares the crap out of him. Maybe your baby is super chill but I'm just saying. Try and avoid this. Oh also, they didn't have anything I came for, which was contact paper and burner pans. Really? No contact paper? This is not an amazing target, but it's also nothing in comparison to that Wal-Mart in your city that everyone hates to go to. For the most part, you're left to your own devices when shopping, which is not the Target way of life. At least, it's not supposed to be. The "Can I help you find something" tends to get lost in the sea of over-focused stares off in the opposite direction of the customer. Don't get me wrong, I have been asked if I needed help finding something. Once. Anyway, the convenience of this location beats out my desire to have someone hold my hand through the Hanes section for the best crew neck t-shirt. In the end, I come in, know what I want, get it, and leave. This will be the backhandedly successful relationship this Target location and I will have; which is fine because the store has a decent selection and will always be better than Wal-Mart to me. read more

To be honest, when your nearest Target is the downtown Seattle location, sometimes you just need to sneak away to the burbs for a true Target experience. I occasionally make the drive out here to check out this Target. It's not that it's any better than most suburban locations. It's just that you don't have to be afraid to walk inside the doors and it doesn't smell like pee like downtown does. I also really appreciate the stock here vs the limited, tourist-focused stock of the downtown location. I rarely find things out of stock here, especially in the grocery section. read more

I usually do not go to this target but I was in the area and needed to get something quickly. With the new remodel it was difficult to find anything, the layout of the store seemed like it was poorly made. I got the items needed, but my friend unfortunately stepped in POOP near the clothes section. We were wondering why it smelt like a public restroom until we looked down and saw that the bottom of their shoe was covered with POOP. That is disgusting. I think if you're going to go to target, then you might as well go to Renton's instead. read more

I would give a 0 if I could. I asked 6 different employees where their tablecloths were. The first just said "kitchen dept" I had already looked and they weren't there. The second said by the stationary, the 3rd and 4th confirmed that. Another one directed us to the same area, the party section. Not tablecloths. I left without ever finding them. After waiting un unbelievable amount of time for one person ahead of me to be rung up, I paid and left. I reviewed my receipt in my car and realized they had overcharged me for 3 items. I returned to the store and after seeing that I was right about the prices marked on shelves, they attempted to refund the money,,, but their machine wouldn't work to refund my card. At least she was willing to give me cash. I got over $48.00 back. I got it refunded, but for that kind of mistake, i think I should have gotten an apology from the manager read more

Was buying an 8pack of seltzers for $19.99 along with some groceries. Total came out to $63, noticed there was a $15 tax on a $19.99 pack of EIGHT seltzers. I ask the girl politely "excuse me, what is the $15 for beneath the $19.99?" She continues telling me "$63". Obviously I'm not paying nearly $40 for EIGHT tiny cans of alcohol. Had to ask her 3x before the manager came over to help bag up my groceries. I politely ask her why seltzers are $40 for 8 of them. She says "oh it's just our alcohol tax". Okay? Think I'll stick with a grocery store where a 12 pack is around $30. I had a good laugh about that one. read more

This is a clean target with an easy layout to help you find everything you need. Their clearance sections aren't as good as some I've seen. Their new Cartwheel app is cool, it's annoying to have to look up every item when you are buying a lot to get the discount. It should be automatic scan their app and apply any discounts you are eligible for. Their parking lot has nice wide spaces so it's easy to park bigger vehicles, also their lot is never very full on the weekdays! read more

This Target is conveniently located next to SouthCenter mall, and it gets most of its' points of location. However, it was super small, crowded and had long lines. I had a hard time finding what I was looking for, since this was not the Target I frequent, and could not find any Target members to ask for direction. So I spent 15 minutes wandering around trying to locate my items. When I was ready to pay, the lines were long and there was one associate helping people in the self checkout. Great inventory with parking close to the entrance! Many people easily miss this Target location because it is hiding behind some hotels across from the Southcenter Mall. I didn't know it was there until a friend needed to go there for a few things one day after we had shopped at the mall. Now that I know where it is, it is my favorite Target in the Seattle area to visit. Parking is plentiful and directly in front of the entrance, employees are helpful and friendly, and they always have what I am looking for. From groceries to everyday household items, this Target has you covered. I have literally spent hours here just perusing each aisle. It's a nice respite from the dirty, run-down locations in other parts of the city. read more

Targets are very much the same. This one is always pretty busy and is in Southcenter, across from the mall. I came here for the printer I wanted after I found out another Target was sold out. I went straight in for the printer, paper, and left. The cashier was fast and friendly, two huge pluses in my book. I've been here dozens of times through the last 15 years and will keep returning. Living closer to this target, I've been coming here for quite some time. The parking lot is large with many parking spots. There can be some congestion with entering and exiting as there are many other businesses nearby. They also have a couple of online pick up lanes for those techy people who don't like to get out of their cars. Inside is like your traditional target. Home decor and clothing is closer to the entrance towards the left of the store. Games, electronics, and more clothing towards the back. Food, make up, drinks and home necessities are towards your right side. They do have like 4 or 5 self check out lanes, which I use all the time. Yes, they do have cashiers, but there are only a couple. The wait time is forever sometimes... I always feel like there's never enough cashiers. I see a bunch of guys and girls at customer service... but they're just standing there talking and sort of doing something. As someone who's worked customer service, I'd try to get on the registers and help get the line down as much as I can. I've encountered some good customer service and then some not so great customer service. Maybe kids with first time jobs..? Prices are normal target prices. Don't forget to download the app or get a red card debit/credit card (whatever floats your boat). The store is clean with spacious aisles, shiny floors, and bright lights. It has what you need, but be patient. read more

I'm a regular shopper at target and I was there shopping today and i was not done self checking out but the security guard came and told the supervisor that I was trying to steal a two dollar ($ 2 ) GUM!!! which is unbelievable because I was spending more than $100 at the store the guard was looking at me the whole time and only me from all the people there shopping because am Ethiopian.... then I went and confronted him and he didn't even want to talk to me. The lady in front of me had some difficulty with her order. The staff kindly assisted her. After a few minutes they escorted me to another line. My shoulder was killing me but I was ignoring the pain. When I got outside I realized how happy I felt in spite of the pain! The Customer Service at this location is outstanding. It is just like any other targets. Nothing is new or unusual about the location. They do have good sales on certain items. I think it is a fancier version of Walmart, really. They didn't have the water dispenser I was looking for at the time, and I had to go all the way to Northgate location for it. I called Kent, West Seattle, Federal Way, and Renton. Yet, none of these locations carried the dispenser at the time. They all suggested me to order online, which was something I didn't want to wait around because my new apartment needed fresh water to drink! But the trip was worth it since their water dispenser would be the cheapest compared to Costco and Walmart. read more

Wow, I remember coming here a lot as a kid. I could get lost wandering around looking at things. I used to love to come here and play games and run up and down the aisles. Now, it's more confusing. There are tons of items and if you wander into the Devil's Triangle (the center of the store), you could get lost and never find your way out. First and foremost, the thing I love most about Target is the clearance section in every department. In the women's and girls clothing and shoes there wasn't a clearance section to be found. Every other Target I've been to had clearance sections. The lack of organization in the dollar spot and women's clothes made it almost impossible to find anything. In the dressing rooms there were hangers and clothes left in the majority of the dressing rooms, c'mon people pick up after yourselves. Had your standard Target departments but felt smaller than other Targets in the area. Carries pantry items and refrigerator items as well as liquor and booze. The restrooms look like they had been taken care of regularly and kept clean. Friendly staff, overall If I'm in the area and need something from Target I'd go back. read more

I honestly love Target. Who doesn't? I used to be obsessed compulsively and come weekly. -__- hehe, now I'm all better. But after a lot of remodeling, and coming here for years, they are goood! Love the renovations w/ the groceries. I love the layout design of the store, and I pretty much know it by heart. I have had GREAT customer service here, especially the cashiers. Just a regular Target, friendly employees ready to help. If lines get long they open up other cash registers quickly. Clean, love the new grocery section. I can grab everything I need pretty much in one store! Great deals on childrens clothes, their target brand of diapers is okay, it used it be better last year but they have changed it twice since then...so I will stick with huggies or Luvs in the mean time, I cloth diaper anyway but when I buy disposables, I try to get the cheapest and its Target or Luvs. Overall their Target Up and Up brand is pretty good quality. I think Costco Kirkland is better though. read more

However, very recently a very very close friend had an employee say a remark to their little one that was Very out of line and came across Cery racially insensitive. So, I've stopped going to Target completely. Which sucks, because I Really like Target. Not sure what the outcome will get with that situation, but I do know the little one still knows what the lady called her, and my opinion of the nice Target people has been damaged. read more

This Target is my favorite out of the two I usually visit, the other one being in west Seattle. This store is always clean and I usually find a good close parking spot because unlike the west Seattle one they have a lot of parking. The new carts are really nice and easy to push. Associates are always close by to ask for assistance and the service is really nice. There is usually a line open when you're done shopping or not a very long wait time to check out and the checker are very polite and nice, for some reason this is the only place my son demands and asks please for a sticker and they always get a kick out of that and laugh. The prices sometimes are not that great unless on sale but I recently heard they price match online prices. I took advantage of that rumor and found out it was true by finding some insoles that were cheaper on Amazon. I let the cashier know and so she tendered my sale and suspended it and I went to returns and sure enough they do. The woman at returns looked it up on their I think ipad and found the deal and price matched it which was really cool and i was on my way. read more

I just left this place and couldn't wait to write this review. What a bad shopping experience ever! I came to buy a 6-pack of Budweiser for the house party, and some treats for my dogs. Definitely saw the price for the 6-pack was $5.99. But at the check-out, it was scanned for $6.99. I told the cashier and a lady (looks like supervisor) that the price was difference. And then they both looked at me like I came from another planet, "No, it is $6.99! You must be wrong!". I just paid anyway because it seems like they're not there to take care for their loyal customer's concern. Then I run back to the beer aisle, took the picture, and showed it to the supervisor. Without saying a word to me, she then tried to called somebody else to fix the price on the shelf. And then turned to me, "If you want, go over there to get your $1 back!". Excuse me, I don't want the refund. I want you to care for your guest concern and apologize to me when you realize you just did something wrong to your guest. She did use the walkie-talkie to let her team-member know about the wrong price after I showed her the picture, why couldn't she use it to double-check the price at the first place. Walked in to the store and the first person I encounter is the lady cleaning the buggies. She was so disrespectful and rude to me. This was the first and final impression I got as a customer. I could just as easy have ordered online which is what I will do next time instead of coming in to the store supporting the local retail market. They should ask themselves what would happen if we all did that. They would be out of work. They should remember that in the future. read more

Wherever there's a Walmart there's a Target and I really appreciate that! I love how when you walk into the store, you immediately see a deal section. There's things that only cost a dollar, two, three, and five! They also have everything always organized and can rely on the employees to help me find something if I ever need help. 2/13/18: I come here all the time and today I happen to come when the store is going under some major renovation. I dunno if it was my mood today but I was really irritated when one of the supervisors or lead (Nykki) scolded another staff working the customer service desk by telling her, "Please our away your cell phone" when in fact the employee was using one of the devices used to either look up merchandise or prices. She immediately apologized when she realized it wasn't the employees cell phone. Still rubbed me the wrong way so I made a joke to the employee and asked her if I wanted to yell at the supervisor/lead. We laughed and I was happy she felt better read more

I don't think I've ever left a review for a Target type store but I felt the need to say how impressed I was with the customer service. I do more online shopping than in store but decided to come in to grab a couple items. Anita rang me up and was considerate of the items I bought. She let me know that she was going to double bag the bacon in case it leaks and the bottle of wine since there weren't any paper bags. She was also able to give me a smile and ask how my day was going. It may seem like something small but it made my day. She prevented leaks and a bag from possibly ripping. That type of customer service make me want to go back to that store location even tho I have a closer one at home. Thanks Anita! read more

I posted the same issue for the landing target. O gosh I looooove target and their goodies they always carry. But their bathrooms are horrendous... it's so outdated and equipment and doors are broken. Smells awful. It's like mold and poor ventilation combines...it's hard to change my sons diapers when the environment itself is so dirty. read more

Was robbed as soon as I entered with my 3 year old and nephew. Target associates helped watch over my kids, called police, and had their security guard help retrieve back my wallet. Was happy they acted fast as the thief almost escaped. read more

Wonderful Customer Service! I was picking up an online order. Customer Service was in the weeds, only one computer was working and they had a number of returns as well as running items out to cars for vulnerable customers. There was an issue with the phone/ipad scanning my items for pick-up. The employee who was helping me was professional, polite, and conscientious. read more
