What a sad experience. I have been coming here forever for their lahmahjun and it has completely gone downhill. I was in the area and stopped in to get my fix and was so excited to get the fresh batch right out of the oven. It is nothing like it used to be, the flavor is awful now and whatever 'meat' is actually on it, is all gristle. It's the worst lahmahjun I've ever had - how could they go so wrong???!!! Did they change owners? I'm so confused. I regret buying 4 because they were inedible. The service is still the same: indifferent, and the parking lot is still terrible.

I haven't been here in a while, now I'm wondering what happened to the quality of their food? I was very disappointed with the taste of the lahmajun. It used to be so good.

Spicy cheese, spinach, and potato varieties.

I love coming here for my Armenian breads. Everything always tastes great. Breads are fresh and warm. Portions are large. Prices are excellent. This is my go-to bakery 100%. The only difficultly is parking during busy times. But that won't stop me!

Kids love it

Sooo good lahmajune. The service is great. I like to buy lahmajune on Tuesdays and Fridays because the waitress is much nicer.

Our first time here. The lamajuh is excellent, but the parking lot is just horrible. Not sure if I want to return to this noisy place!

Love this place! Best lahmajoun in Cali! Fresh! Lots of meat! Great seasoning! Dough perfectly thin, not too doughy.

Best Lahmajun in town. When you get a ride out of the oven is the best I don't know why but they're quality drops in the evenings

Art House Bakery makes seriously good sourdough. I picked up…read morethe Turmeric and Black Rice loaf and you can tell right away this is real, slow fermented bread. The crust is crisp and golden, and the inside is soft with a slight chew. It has that mild sourdough tang, plus a subtle earthiness from the black rice and a warm hint of turmeric. It's balanced and flavorful without being heavy. I also love how clean the ingredients are. Organic flour, filtered water, sourdough starter, salt, black rice, turmeric. No yeast, no artificial coloring. Beautiful loaf, clean ingredients, and great flavor. I'll definitely be back.

If you're into authentic artisanal baking with a modern twist, Art House Bakery is easily one of…read morethe most delightful stops on Sherman Way. From the moment you walk in, you get the sense that everything here is made with intention -- not just in presentation, but in the quality of ingredients and care in baking. First off, everything tastes genuinely fresh. Several visitors rave about how "really yummy and made with fresh ingredients!" their pastries and breads are -- and that sentiment shows up again and again in online reviews. The classic Armenian gata pastry is especially popular, with a rich, buttery flavor and just the right balance of sweetness that feels traditional but elevated. What's really impressive is how the bakery balances heritage Armenian favorites with creative, contemporary twists. On their menu you'll find staples like lavash, barbara, puri, and matnakash -- all crafted with care -- alongside sourdough loaves and specialty breads that incorporate interesting flavor elements like turmeric, pomegranate, and even charcoal. One regular reviewer called the sourdough "great flavor... crusty exterior and light, fluffy inside," which speaks to real attention to bread science and fermentation technique -- not just baking for the sake of quantity but crafting for texture and depth of taste. Beyond the bread and pastry quality, the vibe here is warm and welcoming. Reviewers consistently mention friendly staff and wonderful service, and the atmosphere feels casual and inviting -- perfect for picking up something special for breakfast, brunch, or a sweet treat with coffee. In short: Art House Bakery isn't just another run-of-the-mill bakery -- it's a place where fresh, thoughtfully chosen ingredients shine, and where you can taste the difference in every bite. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys well-crafted breads and pastries that blend tradition with creativity.
