    Oreo, raspberry and custard

Finally decided to give this place to try. Everything looked beautiful and taste fresh and hot, but I felt like there was a little more pastry than filling. I ordered the Oreo and I think it would be even better with two Oreos. Overall, it was just OK for me. Not bad at all, and if you're looking for something sweet under $20, it's worth trying. We got six pastries and enjoyed trying the different flavor flavors.

Papillon is my favorite to go bakery for getting ponchicks( similar to donuts). They have a variety of them in different flavors. I noticed they have added a new flavor which is Dubai Chocolate. They have different kind of pastries and drinks to purchase. There is a table inside and I saw a table outside. In case you want to dine in, that's an option. Service was friendly. Lady who helped me was nice and friendly. Parking is easy. There are couple of parking spaces assigned to this bakery. There is street parking available too. If you're looking for modern not classic bakery goods, I would recommend visiting this bakery. P.S, there is extra charge for credit card. There is no sign that indicates, there will be a fee for CC or debit card.

This place is such a gem, you can tell many locals come here too. I usually order before hand because the food takes about 10-15 minutes after you order, but that's how you know they make it fresh! I ordered lahmajun (Armenian pizza) and although it was cold, it was still good and I also got potato and mozzarella filled Piroshkis which were amazing, you eat it with the seasoning they give you (paprika and salt). You can tell this spot is authentic and their food is made with love, highly reccomend!

This bakery sells desserts, sandwiches, and empanadas. The inside was clean and they displayed all of their items in a glass protected shelves. It was clean and well lit. The server was kind and explained what type of desserts they offered. Since this was our first time, we only ordered a three of their pastries. Apricot Ponchik. WOW! I will have to visit another time to try out their empanadas and hopefully another pastry

Great location, variety of options and good service! The perashkis, and ponchiks are always consistently great

I've been a loyal customer here for about three years, ordering almost every month, and I always get their Nutella and custard ponchiks through Uber Eats with no issues until now. Yesterday, I placed my usual order, but instead of Nutella and custard, I received ponchiks with Oreo, apricot, and other fillings I didn't order. I reported it to Uber, but because my photo wasn't perfectly clear, they claimed I was lying. Honestly, this is extremely disappointing, especially from a place I've supported for years. Mistakes happen, but denying the issue and basically calling a loyal customer dishonest is unacceptable. I'm really upset and reconsidering if I'll order from here again.

    Khachapuri

We ordered the khachapuri, and it was a big disappointment. The bread tasted old, soggy, and impossible to chew. It seemed like it was pre-made ahead of time, and they just added the eggs and cheese later. The dough was chewy, greasy, and felt like it had been fried. For how expensive it is, we expected much better quality. We don't mind paying more, but the food should at least be fresh and well-made.

Ajarski khachapuri (bread boat) - Both Yolks are hard as a rock

Update: just tried the lamajoon (Armenian pizza), it tastes like the meat is old, so there goes another $20 for that in the garbage. I know it isn't tasting right bc I've had their lamajoon before and it didn't taste like this. Very disappointed. Will not be returning here. Bread boat eggs are supposed to be runny. That's literally the whole point. I just got home picking up and the yolks are overcooked, hard as a rock, and they charged extra for jalapeños/chives, but didn't make it as ordered. If this were the first time this happened, I wouldn't make such a fuss. BUT for a $20 bread boat to be a total fail, it's disappointing. Not happy and probably won't return here after being a loyal customer. There's better bread boat (ajarski khachapuri) all over noho, that are more deserving of business.

Beef Perashki, Potato Perashki & Bulgarian and Mozzarella Cheese Perashki

Happy Mother's Day to all the hard working Mothers out there! So I was scrambling to figure out what to get for my church to contribute to our potluck and It struck me! PAPILLON! I love this place! Their pastries are sooooo good! I had it my first time a few years ago and ever since I've been hooked! I feel in love with the Cheese Perashki long ago but I wanted to have a variation of sorts so I got: Ten beef, ten potato and ten cheese. So I waited a bit to try the potato and beef because I already know how good the cheese was. I got the beef one and it did not disappoint! The flavor was bangin!!! I really enjoyed it! I didn't get to try the potato one because there were two left and I felt bad haha but I can only imagine it was delicious! The lady at the front helping me out was delightful and helpful! The store itself is small and unassuming outside but inside it was nice and quaint and the atmosphere was calm! I definitely will be coming to this place a lot for my Perashki fix! Next time I'll add Nutella ponchik while I'm at it haha! For me I give this place a 5/5 stars! Thank you guys!

Had one of the worst experiences at the victory location . Picked up 15 lahmajus today and come to find out the meat is missing in certain spots on the tortilla bread. See the photos attached, They look soggy and scary to even consume. When we addressed the issue to them , their method of resolving this issue was , " we can offer you fresh perashkis on us " so we drove back the lahmajus to their store and Zara tried to get away with just giving us the perashkis without giving us a refund on the soggy hideous lamajus givin the fact that their perashkis are just a few bucks. The question here is about the service we received and how they tried to rip off the customer.

I think I've tried half of the menu here lol. My go to is definitely the New York roll and the mango passion fruit cruffin. I love that they change their New York roll flavours often. What really stood out for me was how well balanced the flavours are in their fillings, especially in the New York roll and the cruffin. They also do really well with their citrus combos like the cruffin, exotic or the mango eclair. I wish there was more custard in their fruit danish and sometimes the croissants aren't as soft, possibly a little overcooked. But the pastry on the cruffin was one of the softest and most delicate I've ever had. The macarons are also great especially the yuzu, passionate, hazelnut and raspberry flavours.

Luckily because it was a Sunday, we found parking right in from r of the store. From the outside and inside it truly has the Parisian patisserie vibe and feeling, which I love! Once we got inside, we were mesmerized by all the beautiful and delicious looking pastries and dessert options. I also love that they have both indoor and outdoor seating options. We decided to sit inside, one because it was way too hot, and secondly there was this aggressive homeless man who threw a chair towards the glass window of the patisserie. That was scary! The girls working there were aware of this, because apparently he's done this a few times, where he's thrown their outdoor furniture around, so they called 911 immediately, so hopefully that won't be an issue for them in the future! Luckily no one was harmed and no glass was broken, and the psychotic man was far gone. My friend and I decided to get two different desserts. I got the pavlova, and which is one of my favorites. I love the creamy and crunch meringue and the combination of the tart berry filling inside. My friend loves peanuts, so she got the dessert that looked like a peanut, which she loved! The two girls working there were really sweet and offered us a free croissant as a compensation for the momentary chaos caused by the aggressive homeless man, which my friend and I truly appreciated. Overall, we had a great experience here, and I'd definitely come back to try some of their other desserts!

While the flavor variety is awesome and they don't skimp on fillings, man are these cakes typically dry and a little dense. Had the tropical coconut pineapple cake for a friend's retirement party in December and while the price of a small cake is steep, it was very good. I was impressed! Another friend and I debated what the best berry and cream cake was. I said WholeFoods. She said SusieCakes. We taste tested. We both stood our ground on our opinions. Last weekend,I had the strawberry cake at a birthday party and it was very dry and dense. And the baby's "smash cake" never really got any deeper than the frosting layer, which leads me to believe it was also dense. While I was doing my friend the favor of picking up said birthday cakes, I noticed the pineapple coconut was back in season, so I came to SusieCakes the next day to get a slice. Very friendly staff! But very dry cake. So disappointing after paying ten dollars for a slice. Overall, the vibes are always good. The flavors are great. But the texture is just not it.

Customer service can be hit or miss. Yesterday, it was something in between. I normally don't update reviews unless some things change from good to bad and vice versa. After leaving the restaurant, I had a sweet tooth. Decided to stop by this bakery which is located inside Gelson's Market and buy few pastries for the house. Mostly for their mini Eclairs that are filled with delicious, Vanilla custard and coated with chocolate cream. Well, once again they were out! Was greeted by Esther, one of their managers. Somewhat friendly and helpful. Was trying hard to impress. I told her I need 8 pieces of individual pastries. Right away she got the box ready and stocked all my favorite pastries in them. Got 2 slices of Parisian pastries,($9.00), 4 slices of their Vanilla Custard ($15.80), (which is one of my favorites) super light in taste and texture. Last, but not least, got 2 of their regular Eclairs ($9:00). Total came out to be $33.60. Every time I get some lame excuse from their employees such as come back tomorrow, we only have them in the mornings, or the best one, we only have them Friday to Sunday. Well, yesterday was Friday & no mini Eclairs. Time of my arrival was 8:40AM--7/17/26. Esther told me they get them in after 11AM. Not true. I went back just to check and still no mini Eclairs. So Ester, the manager was lying. They also have cakes, cookies, their Alligator tart that has a lot of nuts. Variety of cold and hot drinks: Coffee, Latte, Espresso and more. Plenty of parking spaces. The bakery was very clean and had maybe 2 other employees working there. Expensive, but very yummy. They also sell bread. Freshly baked. Can customize any cake according to your preference and liking. For any occasion.. Go check them out and see which one is your favorite?? Make sure you don't ask for mini Eclairs!!:-)LOL.
